From the first time we visited the Hotel looking around getting the wedding brochure and securing our date Scott and his team were fantastic. Very accommodating for our every need, they have a very good structure for booking, food tasting, room booking for guests nothing was ever any problem. We had our complete wedding at the hotel ceremony and reception. On the day I the Bride got ready in 1625 room where the staff made sure we had plenty to eat and drink and helped to keep us to our schedule. The room for our reception set up exceeded our expectations. The food was of top quality and plentiful topped off with a nice glass of wine. Scott and his team had the meals served quickly to all tables and lots of compliments from all our guests. We would totally recommend Ballygally Castle Hotel to any other couples who are looking for a first class venue, professional staff and facilities with a beautiful location to top it off.

From the day we booked our wedding the staff of Ballygally Castle looked after us with 5 star treatment. Norma was on hand to answer any questions and made the process worry free. Our wedding day was the best day of our lives and fulfilled all our dreams. Norma was there throughout the day to make sure everything went to perfection. A day that was truly magical to us and all our guests.

We had the most incredible day - everything from the date we booked to the big day itself was brilliant. As an LGBT couple I was slightly concerned about visiting a more traditional wedding venue - I needn't have worried. We went to their wedding event and virtually signed on the day because of the impression all of the staff left on us. Organising everything through the team here was an absolute breeze and I haven't heard anything but positive reviews from every guest about their rooms, the food or any of the staff encountered. I cannot recommend booking your day here enough. Our ceremony wasn't traditional and the events team worked through every aspect of the day with us. Your big day will be in very safe hands with Morgan and team. It's a stunning venue with fantastic staff - what more could you want.

We honestly couldn’t have chosen a better venue for our wedding day. Ballygally Castle Hotel met our needs ideally due to it's location in relation to ourselves and the number of wedding guests planned. From first impressions through all stages of planning to our experience on the day we really appreciated the relaxed atmosphere and flexible, helpful attitude of staff who met our every need as agreed. Meals on the day were well cooked, warm, tasty and breakfast the next morning didn't disappoint either. The grounds and Ghost Room being open to our guests were a bonus. We can't express how wonderful the whole team at the Ballygally Castle Hotel are. From the moment we visited on a wedding showcase day, we knew we'd found our dream venue to marry in. The staff are incredible, providing guidance, information, fantastic communication, and support; we never felt unsure that our vision couldn't be brought to life. The professionalism shone from each member, and it felt like an extended family with our best interests at heart. Besides the stunning location and views across the bay, the historic castle is magnificent. The surrounding gardens are beautiful year-round, and the hospitality is second to none. The wedding banquet was served promptly, and everyone remarked how delicious the food was. We are so happy we chose Ballygally—our thanks to Scott, Samantha and all the staff for a magnificent day.

We cannot thank everyone at Ballygally enough for their involvement in our big day. From the day we came to look around to the weeks before, nothing was ever too much hassle to Samantha and the team. Everything was taken care of to the highest of standards which made our big day calm and stress-free. The food was outstanding, as was the food and drink service throughout the day. Everyone really enjoyed themselves and commented on the venue, the staff and outstanding service.

An affordable venue which was able to accommodate most wishes. The meal was pleasant and the staff at reception the morning after the wedding were really pleasant and accomodating. Would have really appreciated being made aware of the road works on the day before/day of the wedding, as guests with disabilities were made to park further away the night before the wedding, and some guests’ shoes melted on the hot tar entering the hotel.

We had the best day, everyone had an amazing time, Samantha was amazing and made sure everything was sorted before the day and had me at ease, we where able to come drop stuff off the day before and the team set everything out so perfectly, Scott was on hand all day the day of the wedding and it all ran so smooth, all the guests loved it that much some came for dinner the week after and some have booked to stay, the dinner was fab, we are so happy and couldn't of picked anywhere better for our day, thank you so much to the whole team who made it our dream day.

Nothing was ever too much trouble, and they were always quick to put our minds at ease, even with the little worries like dietary requirements. The venue itself was absolutely immaculate. The beautiful gardens, lovingly maintained, even got a mention in my father-in-law’s speech – a true testament to the care and attention behind the scenes. We were incredibly lucky with the weather and made full use of the stunning grounds, enjoying the breathtaking views of Ballygally beach and the Coast Road. The food and service were brilliant, and everything ran so smoothly thanks to the team’s expertise. As a Larne girl with family in Ballygally, it was such a joy to bring my husband’s family and friends from County Down and Armagh to this special place. Ballygally Castle truly showed off County Antrim in all its glory. It’s a place that’s always been close to my heart, and we’re so grateful to have chosen a venue we can easily return to for anniversaries - whether for dinner or a stay - and relive those cherished memories again and again. We couldn't recommend Ballygally Castle enough, from our first meeting with Katie at the wedding fayre in January 2024 to the day we got married, they all went above and beyond for us both. After our first meeting, we didn't go and view anywhere else. Everything we wanted was right here on our doorstep. Everything was effortless and professional, from the overall cost, food tasting, and walk rounds, down to every member of staff. They made our wedding everything and more we could of possibly wanted. You all made our wedding experience so smooth and enjoyable, and I truly felt supported every step of the way. Even with the horrible rain, you kindly navigated with our photographer & videographer which allowed us to use the 1625 room to get our family portraits! I can genuinely say that I’ll be recommending Ballygally to everyone I know—whether it’s for a wedding, a meal out, or just a cosy stay by the sea. We have family from all over Northern Ireland, and for many of them, this was their first time at your hotel. They all came away raving about it and are already talking about coming back! I got married on the 9th of July and we had the most amazing time. First off thank you to the events team, to Stacey for setting up and making my vision come true. To all the night porters, chefs and servers. The bar staff were amazing. Also a big thank you to Norman, what a legend. I honestly cannot thank you enough, you really did make our day. Our families also had the best day ever. Ballygally is really a very special place. Again thank you so much.

We recently had our Wedding reception at Ballygally Castle and what a wonderful day we had everything just went to plan and so smoothly I couldn't fault it in one way. Norman who overseen the day was great he answered every query so well and nothing was a problem. Katie who we dealt with leading up to the day was also a great help and kept our minds at rest also nothing was a problem to her either. The whole hotel was just amazing rooms service and food and of course all the staff. I would most certainly recommend Ballygally Castle to everyone and most certainly for a wedding reception. Our day was just amazing and everything we dreamed of and more.

Well what can I say.....I had my wedding at Ballygally Castle Hotel and it was a totally amazing day !! From our very first enquiry to the Hotel and meeting with the Wedding co-ordinator we knew instantly that this was the place to have our wedding. We held our wedding ceremony and reception at the stunning Ballygally Castle in May. From beginning to end we and all our guests were treated with the most amazing courtesy and care. The staff were extremely attentive and couldn’t have done enough for us. The change over from ceremony to reception was done with swiftness and ease. We will never forget the moment we opened the doors to the stunning Kintyre ballroom to view our reception-we were just overwhelmed by the beauty o f the room. The food was also 1st class -just as delicious as it was for our tasting and we were receiving fantastic compliments about it throughout the day. Many of our guests also enjoyed the beautiful sea and garden views from their stylish and modern bedrooms and we do believe many guests have actually returned to Ballygally since to enjoy more of what the stunning hotel has to offer. We wish to give a special mention at this point to our wedding co ordinator Norma Craig whose extremely warm personality and meticulous attention to detail from the moment we arrived to view the venue to the very moment we left the morning after our wedding ensured that we had an amazingly unforgettable experience.
