I got married on the 9th of July and we had the most amazing time. First off thank you to the events team, to Stacey for setting up and making my vision come true. To all the night porters, chefs and servers. The bar staff were amazing. Also a big thank you to Norman, what a legend. I honestly cannot thank you enough, you really did make our day. Our families also had the best day ever. Ballygally is really a very special place. Again thank you so much.

We recently had our Wedding reception at Ballygally Castle and what a wonderful day we had everything just went to plan and so smoothly I couldn't fault it in one way. Norman who overseen the day was great he answered every query so well and nothing was a problem. Katie who we dealt with leading up to the day was also a great help and kept our minds at rest also nothing was a problem to her either. The whole hotel was just amazing rooms service and food and of course all the staff. I would most certainly recommend Ballygally Castle to everyone and most certainly for a wedding reception. Our day was just amazing and everything we dreamed of and more.

Well what can I say.....I had my wedding at Ballygally Castle Hotel and it was a totally amazing day !! From our very first enquiry to the Hotel and meeting with the Wedding co-ordinator we knew instantly that this was the place to have our wedding. Special thank you to Norma Craig and Lindsay Carroll for their support and guidance the whole way through, couldn't recommend these two lovely ladies enough, both were brilliant with all my requests and being soo professional x For any couples out there looking for a venue please check this place out. Lovely gardens and beach just opposite and the rooms are beautiful x

We held our wedding ceremony and reception at the stunning Ballygally Castle in May. From beginning to end we and all our guests were treated with the most amazing courtesy and care. The staff were extremely attentive and couldn’t have done enough for us. The change over from ceremony to reception was done with swiftness and ease. We will never forget the moment we opened the doors to the stunning Kintyre ballroom to view our reception-we were just overwhelmed by the beauty o f the room. The food was also 1st class -just as delicious as it was for our tasting and we were receiving fantastic compliments about it throughout the day. Many of our guests also enjoyed the beautiful sea and garden views from their stylish and modern bedrooms and we do believe many guests have actually returned to Ballygally since to enjoy more of what the stunning hotel has to offer. We wish to give a special mention at this point to our wedding co ordinator Norma Craig whose extremely warm personality and meticulous attention to detail from the moment we arrived to view the venue to the very moment we left the morning after our wedding ensured that we had an amazingly unforgettable experience. Both my new husband (still sounds a little weird) and I could not recommended this place enough from initial planning to the final day we could not find a fault, when you enter the unknown you have so many stupid questions or concerns and everytime I was calmed immediately by either Katie or Sarah (both an absolute credit to the place - as is all the staff that we had the pleasure of meeting) Norman was wonderful on the day and was unbelievably accommodating (even when my guests wanted to postpone dinner by an hour for the grand national ????) from the bottom of our hearts we thank you for making our day perfect in every way... evening bringing the sunshine for our beautiful pictures in the garden x

Number 1 choice for Wedding!!!We were married at the Ballygally on Saturday 25th July 2015. We had chosen the Ballygally for a number of reasons (so many it is difficult to know where to start)! Firstly location, wonderful location along the coast with stunning views across the Antrim coastline and hills. We had family travel from Canada, Holland, Mongolia and UK and we knew that they would all love the setting as much as we did. We booked our wedding two years in advance and from that moment the team of Scott, Sarah and Tina went that extra mile to take us through everything that was required for the day. Nothing was a bother for any of them, from the selection of the menu, the wine and the order of events on the day to setting up and sorting the room to assisting our guests. We selected for a choice of Irish Beef or Glenarm Salmon and we received so many compliments from our guest about the great food that was served. The food was fresh, beautifully presented and tasted divine. I had been at the hotel a few weeks before the wedding and had tasted the triffle, loved it that much that Scott suggested we had a little shot glass of this served with our main dessert - so glad that he suggested this. With regards to price I found the Hastings group extremely flexible in terms of this. We were under no pressure re fixed drinks within the package and we only paid for what was used (in comparison with some hotels whereby when you choose a weekend your package must include copious amounts of alcohol). Yes it is 4 Star prices but peace of mind and a relaxing day - I could not put a price on this! The grounds of the hotel are stunning - we are delighted with our wedding photographs set within the well maintained hotel gardens, the river and the of course the beach across the road. So many of our guests stayed and enjoyed the comfortable rooms and heart some breakfast the next morning. I would highly recommend this hotel for a wedding.

Norman, the general manager, was an absolute star throughout all of the preparations and particularly on the day. He was patient, accommodating, and made it all very fun and relaxing! His staff are second to none, very professional and friendly. Nothing was too much trouble to them. We stayed the night before our wedding, enjoying a beautiful meal in the lovely restaurant. The function room was set up to perfection after we had discussed how we would like it the night before and the transition between ceremony, meal and evening entertainment was so quick and smooth. The day was completely perfect. Most of our guests commented on how beautiful the hotel was, the atmosphere, the stunning grounds and particularly the food and all wished we could do it all over again! I have to say we could have had no complaints about our entire wedding experience at Ballygally Castle. We absolutely love this hotel and would, without question, highly recommend it to anyone planning their wedding. If we could do it all again we wouldn't change a single thing! It really was the perfect day and we can honestly say we have Ballygally to thank for a lot of that!
