The best day we could have wished for. Eve our wedding coordinator went above and beyond to make sure everything was ran smoothly. Anything we asked for was never a problem. There was no issues on the day. The management and staff were fantastic all the preparations and organisation come together just like we wished for! Thank you so so much for making our day the most magical.

From the very beginning when we saw the magnificent venue of The Orangery room the excitement began for our special day. The ceremony and the whole day were planned between the coordinator and us on paper prior to the day designed for us to have how we wanted the day to go however not only did it follow our wishes it was orchestrated perfectly there was not a single thing we would change. The staff at both the reception and the hotel were a credit to the venue. A first-class venue, staff and coordinator made our special day a day to remember forever.

We were extremely fortunate to experience our wedding at the George Washington Hotel, the whole day was perfect from start to finish, the atmosphere and food were fantastic, and we couldn’t have been happier with the whole day, Eve and the team exceeded our expectations and made our special day so memorable. Thank you all for everything, we will never forget it.

We absolutely couldn’t fault the process of planning our wedding, everything was clear and explained perfectly. The venue was everything we wanted and more, no expectations of the sun in October but it was amazing! The outside area really allowed our guests the freedom to explore without being confined to small spaces when the room was being turned around. 10/10 for our food, from all of our guests too! I would 100% recommend this venue to anyone!

From start to finish, the organisation and planning was great. We enjoyed an outside wedding on the hottest day of the year. This was changed, the evening before, on advice from the operations team. We really appreciated this and the day was perfect. Nothing was too much trouble and things went to plan because of the communication prior to, and on the day. We couldn't have asked for anything more. All staff were polite and helpful, even after a busy, hot day. All the guests had a good time and commented on how nice the venue was, the staff and the food. The Orangery was stunning and the Brasserie and Abrahams bar were ideal for people to chill and chat or have fun and play games and photos. The golf buggy was a lovely touch. It gave us and our photographers the chance to explore the golf course and get some wonderful, unique photos. To sum it up, a wonderful day, with wonderful weather at a wonderful venue with a wonderful team of supportive staff! Just wonderful! Thank you, from Mr & Mrs Patterson

The George Washington Hotel is an amazing wedding venue and I cannot recommend it highly enough. The venue is beautiful, and all the staff are extremely professional and welcoming. They make you feel like your special day is also their special day. The help and support received from the wedding co-ordination and operation team both in the run up and during the big day was second to none. 5 star service from beginning to end.

Firstly, I wanted to thank you and Victoria. Obviously the Wedding was originally postponed twice and then a change of Management, but from our initial meetings back in October 2021, it went seamlessly from the original preparation to this actual wedding. From the unusual requests for my Best Man which you embraced, to the practise runs and all kept to a secret. Kay and myself would like to say a massive Thank You. Victoria liaising with the suppliers to ensure they arrived when they did, took the pressure off and meant I could concentrate on other things. The communication was great with emails needed and sent promptly. Then on to the Big Day. Well what can I say really. What a day and delivered to absolute perfection. Anthony, Rianne and her team were absolutely fantastic. I can not speak highly enough of them all. The way Anthony, Rianne and myself communicated and interacted was simply unbelievable and I would say the only aspect that went off was the timing, but that was down to my speech. (Never give me an audience). The food was quite simply outstanding and whilst I never got to personally thank the team of Chef's, it was amazing and everyone commented as to how good and how much food there was. The team of waiting staff were beyond their years. I never realised they were as young as they were until the day after when I was told. They delivered the food on time with speed and efficiency. One of the main points I had for Rianne, was that I wanted the team to join us, celebrate and whilst they were working to have a good relaxed time. As a manager myself, there is always a hard balance between being professional and being relaxed. The team for their age were unbelievable and managed this. They worked hard and I mean hard on the day but also joined in with us. We delivered as a team an unbelievable Wedding Experience for Kay which was my main aim. Every box ticked and memories that will live with us and probably yourselves for ever.
