We had our wedding at Killeen Castle and it truly exceeded all our expectations. The venue itself is absolutely stunning. From the moment you arrive, you're surrounded by breath-taking scenery and the function rooms were dressed to perfection for the big day. The attention to detail in the décor created such an elegant and romantic atmosphere. The food was another standout. Every dish was beautifully presented and exceptional in taste. Our guests are still talking about how nice the food was. The reception, waiting and bar staff were also amazing. They were so friendly, efficient and really added to the relaxed, celebratory atmosphere. Throughout the planning process, Geraldine was a joy to work with. She made everything feel seamless and stress-free, always on hand with great advice and a calm, reassuring and enthusiastic presence. On the day (and leading up to it), Sanju was fantastic, friendly, approachable and an absolute rock in making sure everything ran smoothly. We also have to mention Murat. He kept everything running like clockwork and had some excellent wine recommendations that really impressed our guests. Philip was another key figure. A true professional and an excellent host, he was incredibly helpful with everything from start to finish, especially when it came to after-service. As for the accommodations, the guest bedrooms are finished to a very high standard - modern, stylish, extremely comfortable. The Rose Cottage is the perfect blend of timeless elegance and luxury, making for a truly special experience. We couldn't have asked for a better venue or a more dedicated team. Killeen Castle made our wedding day unforgettable, and we are so grateful to everyone who helped make it so magical.

Our wedding at Killeen Castle was a dream and far surpassed our expectations from beginning to end, everything ran smoothly and seamlessly . The venue itself is stunning (the castle grounds, walled garden, water fountain, church ruin, Shamrock on the 18th hole etc.) and incredible well maintained by the groundskeeping team. The pictures we have got back so far are gorgeous, there was so many spots to get great pictures and we were given golf carts to easily get around the grounds (drone shots we haven't got back yet but can't wait to see as the videographer seemed very impressed with them). So many of the guests raved about how delicious all the food served throughout the entire day was (i particularly loved the beef) , the evening food was just as good as the canapes and main dinner which is saying something. The staff were just brilliant and always on hand to help with even the smallest details. The lodges and cottages were perfect accommodation providing plenty of space, walk in showers shared living room/ kitchen areas for family's and friends to gather the morning after or at the end of the night. The team were so accommodating when it came to any of our requests (of which there was many !) and we able to do everything we had hoped (cold sparks, glow sticks etc.), everything that was planned was executed by the staff on the day to a T - which was all the more impressive because we there were so many small details to remember. Also the demeanor of the main points of contact we had (Geraldine and Philip) was exceptional, beyond the quality of their work they themselves were so personable and a joy to work with. There was more than ample parking right next to the lodges/ walled garden which made it easy for guests to find there way since we had our ceremony in the walled garden and then guests were able to easily find there way to the reception area . If we could do everything over again... another 10 times... we would pick Killeen again 10 more times.

Killeen Castle is a hidden gem. From our initial meeting to our wedding - everything was so easy. The personal touch from all of the staff was second to none. Every time we visited before the wedding, they all knew us by name & you could tell they were so excited for our special day. I have to say, Killeen Castle just has it all. The venue is beautiful, with amazing food, and excellent staff and is overall just top-notch. A number of our other wedding suppliers commented on how accommodating the staff were & how everything was so easily done with no stress. Our guests complimented the food & the staff. Honestly, it was just the best day. Philip, Geraldine, Barry & Emily are so professional. It’s so lovely having a team that is excited to celebrate you as a couple. Everything was flawless. First of all, thank you to all staff in Killeen Castle for making every visit and every moment of the wedding preparation and wedding itself amazing. We loved the venue from the first moment and we'll always treasure it in our hearts. The day was perfect (luckily sunny) and all our guests and family couldn't stop taking pictures because it was so beautiful. On the wedding itself, the menu was simply wonderful and exactly as it was during the food tasting. The staff made sure through out the day that everything was going according to the plan and it allowed us to really focus on our family and guests. And last, but not least, the rooms. The bathrooms were unsually large compared to other locations, which we loved, and the lodge were amazing to accomodate our families and friends. It was also great to use one of the lodges common area for the bridal party makeup and hair preparations, with a lot of natural light. Thank you again for everything.

We recently had our wedding at Killeen Castle, and it was truly the most beautiful experience we could have imagined. The staff was exceptional, ensuring that every detail was taken care of with care and professionalism. They went above and beyond to accommodate our family and friends, hosting us for multiple events over the course of our stay, which made the entire celebration feel effortless. We came from the United States, and we left Killeen Castle feeling like family with the staff. The accommodations were top-notch—comfortable and luxurious. And the food was exceptional, by far the best we’ve had at any wedding. Our guests are still talking about how delicious everything was. Killeen Castle provided a stunning and elegant backdrop for our special day and the warmth and dedication of the team made it unforgettable. The grounds are breathtaking and I highly recommend a wedding or any celebration at Killeen Castle. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to celebrate, and we are so grateful for the memories we created there.

We could not recommend Killeen Castle enough. We had the most amazing day. The staff, particularly Amanda the wedding coordinator went above and beyond to make everything perfect for our big day. All of our guests loved the food and were blown away by the Castle and surroundings. There is not one negative thing I could say about our experience. From the minute we started our enquiry until the big day we felt so at ease knowing we had made the right choice for our wedding venue.

The wedding venue of dreams! Killeen Castle is absolutely stunning and the staff is incredible. My now husband and I were living and planning our wedding from NYC… Ruth made planning overseas such a breeze. They were extremely accommodating of our ridiculous requests and cannot believe how smoothly the whole day went. The lodges are lush and the way they are set up was just perfect for our wedding party to get ready in. My makeup artist loved all the natural light we had!! We decided to choose the walled gardens for our ceremony and had the reception in the clubhouse. The castle itself is still undergoing renovations but we were still able to get some gorgeous photos in front of it. The food was absolutely fabulous and our guests were blown away by the views. We feel so fortunate that we were able to book this place and host such a magical event. We are already planning our next stay.
