Our intimate wedding, made truly magical ✨ From the very first moment Foxhills entered our lives, it felt like stepping into something truly magical. I still remember the exact moment it began. I had just emailed Cheyenne, and we were driving up to Foxhills for our first meeting. Halfway up the driveway, I made my fiancé pull over because I was convinced I must have done the maths wrong. There was simply no way somewhere so breathtaking, so elegant, so completely unforgettable could possibly be within reach for us - and we hadn’t even reached the top. I knew I couldn’t allow myself to fall any more in love with it if it turned out to be unachievable, as it already felt too perfect to be real. With hesitation, we drove on, and it didn’t just meet our expectations, it completely surpassed them. The Orangery, glowing with sunlight, effortlessly romantic and impossibly beautiful, instantly became the perfect setting for both our ceremony and our intimate wedding breakfast. It was everything I had ever dreamed of and more. Every single moment spent in that space felt warm, personal and completely magical, like it had been made for us, and that was even before the stunning renovation (back when it still had that slightly dated cream leather bench!). The moment we met Cheyenne and Lydia, any nerves we had simply melted away. They were personable, funny and genuine, and just real people who clearly cared deeply about what they do. There were no hidden costs, no agendas and no pressure - just honesty, excitement and a shared vision of making our day special. Not only was everything transparent, but they were also incredibly generous, offering thoughtful extras like place settings, wedding signs and linen tablecloths that other venues either charge for or don’t provide at all. When I ended up choosing to source some of my own pieces, that was embraced just as warmly. They truly wanted the day to be perfect for us, whatever that looked like. My now husband is not the gushy type in the slightest, but even he was completely lost for words. That alone says everything - Foxhills has a way of leaving even the most reserved people in awe, although the golf course may have played a part. Of course, like any wedding, there were a couple of moments of miscommunication along the way. There were times of doubt, a few tears and moments where the process didn’t feel as smooth as we’d hoped. But what truly sets Foxhills apart is how those moments were handled. We were met with professionalism, care and genuine attentiveness at every turn. Despite having a smaller, more intimate wedding, we were made to feel just as important as any larger celebration. We had meetings with senior team members, the lead project manager of the renovation and even the managing director, whom we had the pleasure of meeting several times during our visits. That level of accessibility and care made this family-owned business feel incredibly personal, like every single guest truly matters. The attention to detail throughout the entire process was nothing short of incredible. On the day itself, Cheyenne was an absolute angel. She quite literally took all the stress away. At one point she was even sitting on the floor fixing my dress, while organising and coordinating everything seamlessly behind the scenes. Because of her, and the entire team, my husband and I were able to fully immerse ourselves in the joy of the day, knowing every tiny detail was being handled with care. Every single one of our guests commented on how stunning everything was, the grounds, the rooms, the facilities and the food, all of it. The food alone deserves its own separate review because of the quality, creativity and sheer deliciousness, which goes far beyond what you’d normally expect from wedding dining. Some of our guests even had the chance to casually meet the owner, who clearly takes a hands on approach and is often present, ensuring every guest’s experience is exceptional. Whether you are a member or visiting for a once in a lifetime event, you feel valued, seen and genuinely welcomed. I grew up as a Disney girl, always dreaming of being a princess and believing that “dreams are a wish your heart makes”, and somehow Foxhills made my dreams come true. From the moment we arrived to the moment we left, I felt like I was living in my own little “bibbidi bobbidi” bubble. It was pure magic. There truly aren’t enough words to express how grateful I am to everyone. From the wait staff and reception team, to the chef, Kelly, the operations team (a special thank you again to Alan for stepping in at the last second), the wedding and events team and right up to the very top, every single person played a part in making our day unforgettable. On your wedding day, you are supposed to feel like the most important people in the world, and Foxhills did not just achieve that, they exceeded it in every possible way. They will forever be the reason our wedding day was completely, utterly magical and so will forever hold a special place in our hearts. Thank you!

Foxhill's is just the perfect venue for a wonderful and magical wedding. We had our dream day, which we will never forget. The staff is fantastic and goes above and beyond to make every wish come true. Angie, the wedding coordinator, is incredibly supportive, even well before the big day. Nigel, the toastmaster, truly brings any wedding to life on the day. Luis and his catering team deliver the most amazing dining experience. We would choose Foxhill's every time and can only recommend it for everyone’s dream wedding.

Foxhills was faultless in terms of both the venue and the team supporting us on our wedding day. We had an absolutely amazing wedding at Foxhills Hotel and Country Club, Ottershaw in September - the staff, venue and food were brilliant. The sit-down wedding breakfast for 80+ people was fabulous. It was unbelievable and couldn't have been any nicer given such a large sitting. The wedding organisation and the execution on the day couldn't have been any smoother - or more fun! We had such an amazing Wedding Day at Foxhills, from start to finish it truly was a special day and such a beautiful venue. We can't thank Angie enough for all her support and hard work with all the preparation of our wedding day down to every little detail. Nothing was too much trouble for her and she was always on the end of the phone or emails so we knew we were in capable hands. The whole team at Foxhills were fantastic on the day and everything went as we planned even the weather. Our guests said how amazing the food was, venue and all the staff and they all enjoy themselves and so did we. We couldn't have been happier with Angie and Foxhills! The day went exactly as it was planned, from beginning to end, and that is all thanks to Angie and her detailed oriented personality. She was always available for me during the wedding planning process. All my emails were quickly responded to, and all my requests were acknowledged. Angie managed to get us a specific beer that was not part of the usual menu, and this was important to us. This was one of the many examples of her professional and kind approach. It is honestly such a pleasure to work with someone you can truly rely on. We had discussions about where the cake should be presented until the very last evening before the wedding... and once again Angie to the rescue! Even though the operations team had not been able to provide a specific type of table to present the wedding cake, Angie took it upon herself to find this for us. She was also very patient with my now husband and his requests and questions. He had not been involved in the thousand emails that Angie and I exchanged. So when the three of us met up to go through all details, she gracefully responded to his questions (on topics that had already been agreed on by the two of us already...). All in all, Foxhills is a great venue. It's incredible for pictures, wonderful food, and a stunning setting. Guests were truly delighted. But the actual service is what did it to me. Dear Angie and the whole team and Foxhills, Dan and I cannot thank you enough for your support and encouragement during the lead-up to and on the day of our wedding. After many meetings and phone calls, Dan and I knew that we had the best team behind us. You made everything run smoothly and effortlessly; nothing was too much trouble. Our day was perfect, the venue was spectacular, and the team was incredible! All of our guests have said how amazing the venue was, as well as the food and staff, and we couldn’t agree more. Dan and I had the time of our life and would do it all over again in a heartbeat; we cannot recommend Foxhills enough; we will be back to celebrate our first year anniversary as a married couple. We had our wedding at Foxhills on Saturday, and from start to finish, it truly was the perfect day! We would like to give a particular shout-out to our wonderful wedding coordinator, Angie, who made the whole process run smoothly and as stress-free as possible! She is a real asset to the team and is a genuinely lovely human! We had our “mini-moon” at Foxhills, and everyone was so lovely. From the ladies at reception and Ursula and the housekeeping ladies to Luis, the lovely restaurant manager who greeted us with a smile every morning for breakfast and treated us to an afternoon tea, to the ladies in the spa and to Gabriel, who helped us move rooms, everyone was wonderful, and we didn’t want to leave! First of all, I should point out that our ceremony/celebration was a Civil Partnership instead of a Wedding. Alyson and I had a fabulous time, and more importantly, so did all our guests. Our contact at Foxhills, Angie, was very responsive and organised our day very professionally and with good humour, which fitted in well with our wish for a fun event bereft of much of the formality of a traditional wedding. The venue (Clubhouse) worked wonderfully well for us, allowing us to use the terrace overlooking the golf course resplendent with colour from the Azalea and Rhododendrons. It made the best use of the sunny afternoon and evening. Food was first class (we selected our own menu from the various available items and allowed our guests to pre-choice their selection), and the canapes were excellent, as was the wine (particularly the Provence rose). Great service from Joao and the team. We'd also like to thank Lily for her assistance on the day in Angie's absence on holiday, they had clearly liaised well as the day went almost exactly as planned, the couple of minor issues made no difference to the day. Finally, we'd like to thank Kate, the owner of Lily & Myrtle, who organised the fabulous understated flower arrangements for the tables and subtle lighting, and we can't finish this review without mentioning LR Disco for keeping the dancefloor packed and allowing us all to let our hair down. Overall, it was an extremely enjoyable and well-organised day, and the feedback from our guests has been amazing. Ultimately, having a wedding/celebration at Foxhills is not cheap, but you get what you pay for, and we're extremely glad that we chose Foxhills for our Civil Partnership. 10/10 for Foxhills! I arranged my mum and dads wedding which was on Saturday 27th April 2024 through Angie. From the first time I spoke with Angie on the phone I knew Foxhills was the place for us. Over the last few months I have been directly dealing with Angie and she was outstanding! I had complete faith and trust in Foxhills and Angie that she knew what we wanted from the day and they delivered. The weekend was incredible, from the moment we arrived the staff were on hand to help, and we relaxed knowing that all the staff there wanted us to have a lovely time as all be it that weddings are stressful however, you could feel they wanted to remove any stress from us in anyway they could. They checked in on us, no task was ever too much for them. We definitely felt the love from them all. There are a few special mentions along with Angie, Scott, Reynold, Denis, they were fantastic, they were professional, warm, polite and so friendly. They all went above and beyond to make the day as amazing as it was, it was a bittersweet feeling when we all said goodbye because I don't even think they could understand how much of an impression they made on the whole family. Another special mention to the chefs on the day, the food was 10/10. With wedding food it can always be hit or miss but everyone commented saying how gorgeous the food was, you can tell the Chef cooked with love. Included in our package was the toast master Tim, just wow! By the end of the day he felt like another member of the family. That is a must for a show stopper addition to your wedding! The Foxhills team have all been simply amazing. The team in the Clubhouse truly were incredible and nothing was too much bother. Renato made sure everything ran smoothly without any problems. All of our guests commented on how amazing the meal was and the attentiveness of the serving staff was second to none. We would recommend you to other couples looking for their perfect venue.

We had our wedding in Foxhills at the start of September and we couldn’t recommend this venue more. It was the happiest day of our lives and a beautiful ceremony and wedding - despite a sudden rain downpour! We sometimes can't control the weather, but Foxhills ensured we still had an amazing day. We felt supported and had a team around us that clearly cared about us having the best day possible. It could have gone very differently. We had wanted an outdoor ceremony (especially my wife) and I was very concerned that it had started to rain suddenly and in downpour and the impact it would have on my wife and our day. Lauren and the Foxhills team were incredibly supportive emotionally whilst also quickly changing from an outdoor to indoor ceremony room. The change around was seamless and the ceremony was beautiful, as was the remainder of the day. In Chinese weddings, brides change dresses between the ceremony and wedding breakfast and, due to many hair pieces, we were struggling to change the hair style over. Lauren came in and fixed everything in a timely and professional manner. The food was exquisite and the resort is beautiful. We are very grateful and always will be.
