What an amazing venue for a wedding! We booked our wedding just over 2 years ago and finally had our big day on 29.03.24. The staff are so kind, caring and helpful. Special mention to Clare (our amazing wedding planner), Jamie (the best wedding coordinator), and Miguel (the best barman in Manchester)! They all went above and beyond to make our day the most special experience. Nothing was too much trouble, and everything went so smoothly (and considering there was another wedding on the same day, we were so impressed with how organized everything was). Everyone commented on how nice everything was, from the decor to the food, and how attentive the staff were. Even when we visited before the big day with family, Jamie & Clare took time out of their busy days to introduce themselves and made our family feel so welcome. They even gave us our first wedding card, which was a nice personal touch. I could not recommend this place enough to celebrate your special day.

We had our wedding here and we're pleased with how things went. The venue dresser did an amazing job swapping from each part of the wedding. The food was lovely. The staff were really friendly and helpful. The DJ was nice We had karaoke as well. We had a lot of guests stay at the hotel and everyone was pleased with everything.

I'd like to thank Smokies for hosting our wedding, from the planning to the event I can not fault a thing. Firstly I'd like to thank Leanne, Leanne went above and beyond for me, she took calls and dealt with messages even when she was out of the office as she knows I'm a complete worrier... Leanne ensured things rolled into place just as I asked (even if I mithered her) and made things happen as I requested. The guys who looked after us on the day and evening what can I say..their professional care and approach towards myself, my husband and my guest was spot on I could not fault them at all, Mo - I'd like to thank you for looking after me the evening before my wedding and calming nerves and explaining how the events of the day were going to unfold. Collin absolutely starred from start to finish and directed everything on our wedding day, he just was not fazed at all and we can. not thank him enough always had a smile too.... Jamie took over later and yet again on young man who directed everything to the end of the night, professional with a smile again. Lastly, I'd like to thank Miguel who made the cocktails..you made my night and they were perfect, thank you again for making one of my wedding wishes perfect... I could not have asked for a better wedding anywhere it was beyond perfect for me and I'm hard to please. The food was out of this world and people actually have written it is the best wedding meal they have ever eaten at a wedding, so compliments to the chef..... so again I highly recommend Smokies if you're looking for somewhere to host your wedding.

WOW! What can I say, our wedding day was perfect from start to finish! The whole process from viewing and booking was easy and Clare made us feel that everything was in hand, she literally took any wedding planning worries and questions off us and made them her own and sorted it really quickly. On the day of our wedding, Jamie couldn't have done enough to help all our wedding party, from checking up on me a few times in the morning, explaining what was happening next and telling me to relax and enjoy the day. He ensured everyone was where they needed to be when they needed to be there! The whole day was everything we wanted and more, everything ran so smoothly and Jamie and his attention to detail ensured this to a T! Everyone commented on how helpful all the staff were and how lovely the rooms were! We all had such a fabulous day, we love talking about it still and we owe that to all of you, you genuinely cared that we had the best day and that's priceless, what a team! Absolutely amazing venue. Had everything we needed. The team were brilliant looking after us, especially Sophie and Alex who went above and beyond making sure everything was perfect. The rooms were beautiful and the food was delicious. I highly recommend Smokies as a wedding venue. We will definitely coming back. The whole wedding process was made easy with my package including room dressing, food, DJ, and the nights stay. Also breakfast is lovely.

My husband & I got married at Smokies on Friday 7th April 23 in the Medlock Suite. This is where we held the ceremony, wedding breakfast & evening reception. Well where do I start, from picking our wedding date and making the booking with Sophie back in 2021 to having numerous meetings & discussions with Clare & Sophie, to upon our special day, to the day itself where Jamie & Sophie played a big part of our day. They made sure it all ran smoothly and everything was perfect for us, we cannot thank Smokies & all the staff enough they was AMAZING & made our day that bit special ✨️ The process of making our dream wedding come true with the help of the suppliers Smokies use "Joyous moments - Stef, Elegant_cakes_design_by_lou, High style Cars - Phil & DJ Tony " Smokies also accommodate extras I had booked i.e - wedding singer (Laura&thesax) our saxophonist Ben (saxeveryweekend) Our 360 booth by (grande_events_mcr) & finally our Photographer Tony (Manchester Photographer). It was more than what we could have ever imagined. I'd highly recommend Smokies for weddings & even just a celebration venue, it's perfect & the whole day couldn't of gone any better. Shout out to Bruno the chef - couldn't be happier with the service of food & evening buffet - all guests commented on how amazing the food was & the variety we had. He also catered for special dietary requirements and there were no issues. Lastly I just want to say a massive thank you to Smokies Wedding organisers for everything you did for myself & James - even to gathering all our belongings at the end of the evening and checking us into the bridal suite and taking our bags up to our room - Jamie and all the staff at the night time were great. Absolutely perfect, staff went out of their way to make us all feel special from arriving on Saturday to leaving on Monday. Our wedding was held in the medlock suite and was stunning thanks to Steph and the team, it absolutely blew us away, worth every penny! The whole day went so smoothly but so fast, we just didn’t want it to end! We renewed our wedding vows there and originally had a church wedding but we highly recommend any couple just having the whole day there! You will not be disappointed. We certainly weren't.

We had the full medlock package at Smokies on the 1st of October 2021. I couldn't of been more happy the venue is fantastic, good prices, the food was gorgeous, the chef is great but the best thing about Smokies is the staff. Sophie the events manager was an absolute diamond she helped us from the day of booking, she is amazing and a credit to the hotel. The day ran perfectly, smoothly and stress free because of her and her team. Tom was lovely and helpful, the bar-staff and waiting staff were lovely aswell, I couldn't of asked for a better team to help with my wedding. I would 1000% recommend Smokies Park for anyone's wedding!

We had out wedding here on Saturday 11th January 2020. The service we had was brilliant from us arriving to leaving, everything was run by us before anybody else the staff could not do enough. Everyone had a smile and was pleasant, the food was lovely all our guest commented on how organised they were and how brilliant their rooms were. I would reccomend this to anybody who was looking for a function room. From beginning the wedding planning all the way through to the wedding day sophie was outstanding nothing was ever too much for her. We couldn't of asked for anything more all the staff members went above and beyond to make our day special. Thanks again

Smokies was the perfect wedding venue for our reception. Sophie, the wedding planner did an amazing job helping us with our plans as we didn't really know what we needed. She gave us advice when we asked and made sure they had the only drinks my mum likes stocked. Everything ran really smoothly so we could relax and enjoy our night. There was a great selection for the buffet and everyone said the food was great. The Medlock Suite was the perfect size for the number of guests we had and was accessible for our elderly grandparents as it was flat and the toilet was close by. We used their venue dressers, Joyous Moments and the room looked stunning! The bridal suites are large, modern and comfortable and the light is perfect for makeup. I would 100% recommend!

We’ve just had our wedding here at Smokies and can not fault the service we have received. Sophie who was our wedding planner was fantastic from start to finish! Nothing was too much to ask. The staff were amazing on the day, all our guests commented on how friendly and helpful everybody was. Special thanks to Miguel in the bar - he looked after us girls the night before the wedding too !! The suite was dressed to perfection on the day and everything was how we’d asked for it. Highly recommended for weddings it was lovely being able to kick back and trust that everything was done for you. Fantastic, thank you Smokies!

We had our wedding on 27th December 2019 and wow I was blown away. We booked our wedding 18 month beforehand. Throughout the process Sophie was always emailing to check we was okay and to see if we needed a meeting to discuss anything. Whenever we needed her she was there to help us, which made our experience so special and easy. The night before the wedding we stayed in the bridal suite, I've never seen a room like it, it was spacious,clean, beautiful. The wedding day. Everything ran so smooth. We couldn't make it to breakfast as hair and makeup was there, Smokies went above and beyond and made us a breakfast buffet and brought it to our rooms. Sophie also came up to greet me and check that everything was okay, which was amazing. The ceremony - the venue dressing was breath taking, it was beautiful. I had 2 children singing at my ceremony and Sophie went above and beyond again and spoke to them so they knew exactly what they were doing. Then on to out meal, again the room look absolutely amazing, all our favours were out etc. Smokies staff announced us into the room, and then the meal arrived. The food was fresh, warm and delicious. Smokies catered for all the guest who had allergies to, which was fab because we had quite a few in our wedding party. Everyone commenting on how delicious our food was and friendly all the staff were. The Evening, Again a fast turn around and the room was ready, they set my sweet table up and anything else I wanted in the room. All these things I discussed with Sophie before the wedding and I didn't have to say anything on the day, it just happened. Another amazing thing. I need to just mention Sophie, Preston,Miguel and the lovely lady who announce us and directed the staff. We couldn't have done our wedding day without you, you went above and beyond all day and made our day the most special day of our lives. Our wedding day at smokies was everything and more than we could have ever expected. From start to finish the team were fantastic. The day itself was amazing and everybody commented on how great it was. So much so that some of our guests booked their weddings there. The staff go above and beyond to make sure everything is perfect and take out all the stress of planning the day. My daughter held her wedding there in May this year and again it exceeded our expectations. Can't recommend smokies enough for your wedding or any other celebration to be held there

Our day was absolutely amazing and magical.. I arrived at the hotel on the Thursday evening for meal with family and friends.( females only) We were looked after so much by all staff they couldn't do enough for us... The morning of the wedding was beautiful...so relaxing and calm.. breakfast in the restaurant and then extra breakfast up in the bridal suite...Then the day and evening were absolutely fabulous.. We wouldn't of changed anything about our day from start to finish... Our wedding planner was Sarah and she was wonderful and made us feel so at ease and relaxed before our day aswell as on the day... On the day Sophie was looking after us and she was absolutely fantastic and she went above and beyond to ensure we didn't have any worries and we definitely didn't... Perfect from start to finish!! The day we got married it was the worse snow since 1970 OMG !!!! I was so stressed people cancelled due to this and all the food we had paid for drinks I did not want to get waisted all your staff went out off they way to make this a fantastic day for us calmed me down helped rearrange all the seating plan to suit this & helped everything run smoothly. Came out later at night for the guests who stayed in the hotel with the evening buffet sandwich & some snacks for guests so they did not get all waisted. All we could do was praise them on the day . Great & so helpful. Thank you again X

My husband and I held our wedding here on the above date x the whole staff and team were amazing from going for a viewing right up until the day ended for us x it really took alot of stress off of myself to know that I was in such capable hands and that's they could with any changes or issues so quickly. Amazing venue, amazing staff and an amazing day x I would recommend smokies hotel to anyone who considers having their special day here x

My husband and I had our evening wedding reception in the Medlock suite last weekend after marrying abroad. Sophie, our wedding coordinator was great from beginning to end. She was on hand whenever we had a query and always responded to my emails quickly even when she was at home. We booked the room around 8 weeks prior and Sophie was very accommodating to all our needs as we wanted a very simple no fuss party. We were able to amend our package and remove items that we did not require or could arrange ourself. The room was a very good size and very spacious and was available early on the day for us to decorate ourselves. The buffet was really nice with plenty of food for our guests who all commented how nice it was. The bridal suite was included in the package which was lovely, this was on the top floor of the hotel with other superior suites. The room was very modern, large bed, hot tub and living area. We can not fault our evening wedding reception here and had a fantastic night!
