We had been trying to arrange our wedding before covid but after three cancellations and then our hotel closed down, we were at a loss. We decided to try The York Pavilion and that's where we met Hayley. From the start, she reassured us that what we previously wanted, she could do and go one better. I'm glad she did. We had all the worry lifted from us and every part of the wedding was talked about over the months leading up to it. The week previous to the wedding couldn't have gone smoother. With Hayley making sure that everything was catered for and any problems we did have were sorted instantly. On the day ,a couple of problems arose but Hayley solved them and the day went better than I thought it could. Hayley stayed with us until the meal and left before we could thank her. I can't thank Hayley enough for all she did . It was the perfect day Thank you. Ian and Angus.

We could not have chosen a better venue for our wedding day. We were initially shown the venue by Sarah and we loved the individuality and character of the building and rooms. Hayley was our wedding coordinator and could not have been more helpful in the planning of our special day. She was available any time we had a question and seemed genuinely invested in making the day perfect for us. Little details like ensuring there was 'nozecco' as well as prosecco on hand for after the ceremony, once she discovered there were pregnant guests, went a long way to ensure everyone felt a part of our celebration. On their own, they were little details but together they made the day truly special. The day itself was everything we could have hoped for. The rooms were beautiful and the staff at the Pavilion worked with our external suppliers to ensure everything was set up. That being said, one of the benefits of such a characteristic venue is that it doesn't need too much dressing up to be beautiful. Hayley was on hand all day for any possible queries that might arise and checked in with us to make sure everything was as we wanted and hoped. I really got the impression that if we had wanted something and it was possible Hayley would have made it happen. Other than the venue itself, it really is the team here at the York Pavilion that make the place truly special and the reason I would recommend it as a wedding venue to future couples. Admittedly it is clear they work very hard, but it is always with a smile. All the team we came across were brilliant but special mentions to Hayley, Nick, Ricardo and Cathryn who stuck out to us on the day. If you are considering holding your wedding at the York Pavilion, at least have a look around and talk to the team. I really don't think you'll be disappointed. The York Pavilion Hotel was the first and only venue we visited when we were planning our wedding and the moment we walked in we knew it was the place. We had the most amazing, magical wedding here! From the first enquiries to the wedding day Hayley, our wedding coordinator, was there to guide us through and help with everything. On the day of the wedding the hotel looked stunning, all the staff were so attentive and friendly, the food was gorgeous and the DJ was fantastic! Our only complaint is that the day went far too quickly and we want to do it all again! We cannot recommend the York Pavilion Hotel enough as a wedding venue and we would have the wedding there again in a heartbeat!

Our wedding was absolutely amazing, beautiful, stunning, quite the fairy tale.. The Pavilion is simply wonderful, I still can't drive past without a tear in my eye. The wedding team led by Hayley are truly professional, full of ideas, but not in your face, no stress, nothing too much trouble, a real professional team.. The Pavilion is divine, with quirky areas for superb photo opportunities, and as we were married in April we had some rain, but our photos are wonderful. Hayley was on hand the whole of our wedding day, also the few days leading up to the wedding,.. down to carrying my lipstick on the special day. She is truly amazing, sooooo professional, the little touches, like bringing up a tray of tea whilst I was getting ready, just being there, such a calming lady... Nothing was too much trouble. The whole wedding was incredibly professional from the impressive red carpet for arrival of our guests to drinks reception, the ceremony, the drinks and canapés, and then our delicious wedding meal /reception. It was fantastic, absolutely delish, not one fault. We were married at 3.30 so our day reception moved straight into the evening disco and it worked so well. The food in the evening again was fantastic. The whole team at the Pavilion were amazing in making my day, our day so incredibly special. We stayed the night before, I would highly recommend that, in fact a third of our guests booked in for 2 nights. We had 50 to the wedding and everyone said what a fantastic day and evening they had. Best wedding ever... We went back to the Pavilion a few months later with friends and it felt like going "home ", that's down to the wonderful team at the Pavilion. I'm looking forward to hopefully going back before Christmas and DEFINITELY back for our first wedding anniversary. Our wedding was truly the happiest day of our lives and we thank Hayley and the Pavilion team with all our hearts.

We booked our wedding about 18 months in advance. It was the second venue we had seen and fell in love with the hotel straight away. Hayley was our wedding coordinator and was always on hand to answer all my questions. We had 55 day guests and an extra 55 on the evening. Curtis was fantastic at organising the day making sure everything ran smoothly. The food was absolutely delicious, all the guests commented how fantastic it was. The resident DJ on the night was fabulous, he really did a fab job. The whole day was fantastic from start to finish and I wish we could do it all again. The York Pavilion is definitely the best choice we could have made for our special day and couldn’t of asked for better.

Magical place to get married. Above and beyond what we imagined. Hayley and the team were great from start to finish. Through planning when it looked like it wasn’t coming together until the day when it all finally came together. Food was fantastic and drinks selection was good too. The whole day still gets talked about 5 months on. If we ever renew our vows, we will be sure to do it here at the Pavilion.
