We really enjoyed our stay, everyone was so kind and the food was both stunning and delicious! The attention to detail from staff was excellent, even just bringing and carrying umbrellas above us as it started raining on our walk. The venue and grounds were absolutely beautiful. The spa was very relaxing and peaceful too! You made our day so special. We cannot wait to return!

Our wedding at Grantley Hall was absolutely perfect. Firstly, the venue itself is absolutely breath-taking. We had so many compliments from our guests, with many saying they planned to return to stay. Waking up in and getting ready in the Royal Suite on the morning of the wedding was an absolute dream and was the perfect backdrop for our bridal party photos. Our wedding planner Kate was absolutely amazing throughout. She made the planning process as stress free as possible (even planning during a pandemic), always responding promptly and with great attention to detail. She went the extra mile for us wherever she could, which was much appreciated. The wedding breakfast was delicious and all of the staff were very friendly and attentive, nothing was ever too much trouble. The little details and extra touches set really Grantley Hall apart and made the experience so special for us. Grantley Hall has such a special place in our hearts that my Husband and I plan on returning every year for our anniversary and we can’t wait to return soon! We had the most perfect day thanks to the amazing Grantley Hall. Special thanks go out to Kate and Laura who went above and beyond to ensure we had the best possible day. We’d previously had to reschedule the date and change venue because of Covid, so we approached the new date with quite a lot of stress. This stress instantly melted away, when we saw the attention to detail and professionalism of the staff. The amazing pastry chef even saved our wedding cake, after it got damaged in transport! The venue itself is stunning, we have so many beautiful photos from the day. There were so many compliments about the food, and the evening snacks were a great touch. Finishing the day in Valeria’s was the best possible end to our wedding! Everyone was dancing until the last possible second. I would recommend Grantley Hall to anyone. It was the perfect day from start to finish, and we look forward to coming back for all of our special occasions in the future!

Our wedding at Grantley Hall was truly magical! The whole process of planning the wedding was made so easy and enjoyable with the help of our wedding planner, Kate. From the moment we arrived at Grantley Hall, the day before our wedding, we felt at home with all the hotel staff's service. Although we had a small wedding, it felt like we were the only guests at the hotel, which was just what we wanted! Barely any decoration was needed from an outside party as the hotel decor speaks for itself. The Royal Suite was the most perfect bridal suite as it had so much room for everyone to get ready in. It was great to be able to take a few moments to yourself on the upper floor to take on such a special day. We simply cannot recommend this wedding venue enough, and we cannot wait to visit again this year for our 1 year anniversary!

Grantley Hall was truly the most magical venue we could have ever dreamed to have our wedding. Although our ceremony was not at Grantley, we still had multiple options for reception drinks, wedding breakfast and evening party. Besides being an idyllic location, we also had the privilege of spending our wedding night in the breath-taking Royal Suite, which as part of our package was a real treat! Speaking of wedding packages, Grantley stood out to us against other venues with the level of items included, even down to little things such as stationery, candles & holders, table numbers or names, letterboxes etc. There were a few key people that really helped make our dream a reality; Kate, our lovely wedding coordinator helped us pull together the perfect day. Kate works incredibly hard, with the utmost attention to detail, making sure your day is planned meticulously. She is very friendly and responds to the thousands (literally!) of communications promptly, no matter what the query. Even down to personalising and printing notes to go in our guest's room, Kate went above and beyond to ensure our day was perfect. We first met Emily, our Master of Ceremony, at the menu tasting. Not only being a delight to work with, but Emily also ensured every detail was captured to make our day incredibly special. It is inevitable that there can be bumps on the day - Emily and the team worked around us to ensure these had minimal disruption with quick solutions whilst still being very attentive to all guests. Finally, Lucy, the chef helped us create the perfect menu, suited to our exact taste but also met the requirements of our guests. The quality of our wedding breakfast was exceptional - Lucy and her team are very talented with the ability to deliver such high standard and delicious food to so many guests. If you are looking for a breath-taking venue, where staff go above and beyond for you and your guests, we would highly recommend Grantley Hall!

When people say their Wedding Day was the best day of their lives it always sounds a little cheesy but our day really was, thank you to the spectacular Grantley Hall! We first visited Grantley in January 2017, with our hard hats and high vis and seeing the Hall come to life was a journey in itself. The magic really is in the detail with Grantley and our day ran perfectly from start to finish thanks to the most welcoming and professional team of coordinators. Lucy and the bridal party had a fantastic morning getting ready with breakfast served in their suites and the team couldn’t have done more! The wedding breakfast was delicious and the service was first class. We finished our celebrations in Valarias dancing into the early hours with our friends and family who where blown away with our special day. We are now expecting a little girl due very close to our first wedding anniversary and we can not wait to visit with our new addition! Thank you all so much again, Mr and Mrs Gibson x

We chose Grantley Hall back in 2018 when it was still under renovation, all we had access to were the plans and they looked amazing!  It was a risk but an exciting one and seeing it develop into something unique was special. For us Grantley Hall was an instant choice, we loved the option of an outdoor wedding ceremony and a sunny celebration. Looking back, the ceremony setting by the river was beautiful and sitting with everyone in the courtyard afterwards was a joy, we were so lucky! For the Wedding Breakfast we chose the Signature room, perfect in size with a warm feel. The small touches during the meal were lovely, especially the surprise chocolate orange mousse……my favourite sweet fix and the engraved cake knife was especially thoughtful. Valeria’s for the evening reception gave us a glamorous setting and fun night. It was great to have a band and dance away. Our day flowed wonderfully thanks to those involved, with a calm and relaxing atmosphere meaning we could take in the day and really enjoy ourselves. For us there is definitely ‘Something about Grantley Hall’, it is an impressive place, the staff and settings are fabulous and it is a real Yorkshire gem. It offers beautiful scenery, majestic rooms and a slice of luxury. It has the mixture of classic and modern, with fabulous food, moreish cocktails and spoonfuls of elegance.
