We had our wedding in Waterfront Hotel Dungloe the past weekend, and we have to say, from start to finish, all the hotel staff were very accommodating. From the receptionists down to the night porters, they were all very welcoming and helpful. The craic and fun we had were great. The food throughout the whole weekend was fantastic, and the bar staff looked after us all very well. It was truly a great weekend. We highly recommend it for anyone looking to have their wedding here or, in general, a night away. We honestly were treated amazingly.

The team at The Waterfront Hotel were brilliant. From start to finish, they couldn't have done enough for us. With the stress of planning a wedding through the pandemic, Marie and her team were always on hand day or night, with different ideas/options that would suit us best and always had such a positive attitude. The attention to detail on the day was amazing. I couldn't fault them in any way. They made our day so special, and we will be forever grateful for how good they were to us and for making our wedding day one we will never forget.

We celebrated our dream wedding at Waterfront Hotel on July the 15th of this year! Marie and all the staff at Waterfront were so attentive on the day and leading up to the wedding. No request was too big. The food was astonishing, paired with 5 star service! We had the best day, and can't thank Marie and all the team at Waterfront enough, as they went above and beyond for us. We would highly recommend this hotel to any future brides and grooms!

We had the most perfect day possible at Waterfront Hotel! The staff went above and beyond all expectations. They ran the whole day seamlessly. We had so many guests say it wasn't just the best wedding meal they’ve ever had, but the food over the whole weekend in the hotel was the best they have ever had and that they want to come back on holiday! A specIal thanks to Marie who always kept us calm and upbeat during covid. Nothing seemed to phase her. Finally thanks to the staff who secured me scones to snack on before my pictures, when I had missed the canapés being a busy bride. It was the best servIce I've ever experienced.

What a beautiful hotel. We had our wedding here on October 21st and have nothing but good things to say. From the first time walking in the door back in January, to the day we checked out the morning after our wedding, we could not have asked for anything more or better. Marie, the events coordinator, was super efficient, exceptionally attentive and just a professional. All special dietary requirements were very subtlety dealt with, The staff couldn’t do enough for us, with Covid restrIctions still in place it was tabLe service only, and the staff were amazing. The meal was outstanding. From the bread rolls to the dessert, everything was absolutely fantastic. Thank you to everyone who helped make this day so special. I couldn’t recommend Waterfront Hotel enough to any couple thinking of booking it. Marie and Martina went above and beyond to give us the best day possible, even with all the restrictions. Everyone at the wedding spoke about the friendly staff and the great food. We had the best day ,and it wouldn’t have been possible without the effort that was put in by all the staff at Waterfront Hotel. I only wish we could do it all again.

We had our wedding and reception at this incredible venue in September 2021. From making our initial enquiry until leaving on the day after the wedding, the staff could not have done more for us. They were so helpful, patient and understanding, given the covid situation. We were lucky enough to not have to change our initial plans due to restrictions, but Marie was so communicative throughout that we never had any questions go unanswered. I would (and have!) recommended this venue to anyone else who is considering it.

We got married on the 31st december 2019 at the fabulous Waterfront Hotel Dungloe. We had both our wedding ceremony and the reception at the hotel and what a great decision it was. I work in hospitality so my expectations were high and Marie and her team delivered at every step. The ceremony was held in the ballroom and honestly the room looked like something from a fairy tale. After the ceremony the room was turned around and ready long before the target time for dinner call. The meal we chose was really a fine dining menu and the Waterfront delivered this for over 200 people. It really was exquisite. What we loved most about our day was the ease at which everything happened. Everything was on time and stress-free and this was down to the meticulous execution of the plan by Marie and the team. We wanted for nothing, and, anything that was requested by our guests was facilitated. It really was the most special day for our family and we thank all at the Waterfront Hotel Dungloe for the everlasting beautiful memories of the day that were made possible by you. My advice to potential couples, if you are toying with a few venues, pick the Waterfront Hotel Dungloe.

DEBBIE AND I GOT MARRIED ON THE 3RD JANUARY 2020. WE ARE BOTH FROM BELFAST BUT LOVE DONEGAL. WE GOT ENGAGED IN SEPTEMBER 2019 AND EXPECTED TO GET MARRIED IN 2021. WE SPOKE TO A NUMBER OF VENUES BUT EACH OF THEM FELT LIKE A CORPORATE WEDDING TICK-BOX. WE SPOKE TO MARIE IN THE WATERFRONT HOTEL, DUNGLOE, AND WE KNEW ALMOST IMMEDIATELY THAT WE WOULD BOOK WITH THEM. WEDDINGS CAN BE STRESSFUL AND EXPENSIVE BUT MARIE REMOVED ANY CONCERNS AND STRESSES THAT COULD AND DID HAVE. SHE CONSTANTLY HAD SOLUTIONS TO ANY PROBLEMS WE HAD. AS A RESULT WE THEN DECIDED TO HOLD OUR WEDDING JUST TWO MONTHS LATER RATHER THAN 2021 AS WE FIRST INTENDED. MARIE HELPED US WITH SO MANY THINGS - CAKES, FLOWERS, ENTERTAINMENT AND SO MUCH MORE. WE MANAGED TO AGREE A FANTASTIC MENU AT A GREAT PRICE. NOTHING WAS EVER A PROBLEM. THE WATERFRONT OVERLOOKS DUNGLOE BAY AND A BEAUTIFUL, MODERN HOTEL. ON THE DAY THE VENUE LOOKED ABSOLUTELY SPECTACULAR - WE WERE DELIGHTED I BELIEVE THE WATERFRONT HOTEL DUNGLOE IS IRELAND'S 2020 WEDDING VENUE OF THE YEAR BECAUSE A GREAT HOTEL IN A GREAT LOCATION IS STAFFED BY GREAT STAFF. AS A NEWLY WED COUPLE, THE WATERFRONT TEAM LEFT LOVELY PERSONALISED GIFTS IN OUR WEDDING SUITE - ANOTHER SPECIAL TOUCH. THE THOUGHT OF ORGANISING A WEDDING IN TWO MONTHS FOR 100 GUESTS IN DONEGAL FELT LIKE IT WOULD BE A CHALLENGE - IT WASN'T!! AND THAT WAS DUE TO THE SUPPORT FROM THE WATERFRONT AND ALL THE PEOPLE IN DUNGLOE THAT SHE PUT US IN TOUCH WITH TO HELP. IT WAS A FANTASTIC DAY. DEBBIE AND I HAD THE BEST DAY EVER. OUR GUESTS LOVED THE FOOD AND HOTEL. MANY OF OUR GUESTS HAVE RETURNED TO HE HOTEL SINCE AS THEY ENJOYED IT SO MUCH. THE WATERFRONT HOTEL IS IN A SPECTACULAR LOCATION WITH STAFF WHO THEY SHOULD BE PROUD OF. IF YOU ARE THINKING OF A VENUE, CHOOSE THE WATERFRONT HOTEL, DUNGLOE. YOU WILL BE VERY HAPPY YOU DID. Thank you Waterfront Hotel for making our big day so special. We had our wedding at the hotel last November 2019. It was a destination wedding for everyone attending. Marie and the staff at the Waterfront couldn’t have done more for us. We had thirty American guests and sixty guests travelling from Armagh. Not only did we have a fantastic wedding experience but we also hosted a traditional Thanksgiving Dinner on the night before, for all our guests in the main dining room. The food was incredible both nights and the pressure was on since the American guests were giving up their holiday weekend to celebrate with us. Also, we planned the wedding in less than four months! WE HAD OUR WEDDING AT THE WATERFRONT HOTEL THIS PAST CHRISTMAS TIME, AND I CAN’T SAY ENOUGH ABOUT HOW HAPPY WE WERE WITH EVERY BIT OF THE EXPERIENCE. FROM THE VERY BEGINNING OF THE PROCESS, WE FELT COMPLETELY TAKEN CARE OF IN EVERY WAY. THEY COULDN’T DO ENOUGH FOR US. MARIE WAS SO LOVELY TO WORK WITH AND SO ON TOP OF EVERYTHING, IT MADE THE PROCESS FEEL ALMOST STRESS FREE. THERE WAS SUCH AN EMPHASIS TO DETAIL IN PLACE. GUESTS RAVED ABOUT THE WINTERY TOUCHES, THE MULLED WINE AND CHRISTMAS DECORATIONS, ALL OF WHICH WERE IDEAS FROM MARIE. EVERYTHING SEEMED TO JUST FLOW PERFECTLY, THE STAFF AT THE WATERFRONT FACILITATED IT ALL BEAUTIFULLY. THE VIEWS ARE ABSOLUTELY GORGEOUS FROM THE FRONT BAR, AND WE WERE ABLE TO GET BEAUTIFUL PICTURES OUTSIDE ON THE FRONT BALCONY. SO MANY GUESTS RAVED ABOUT HOW BEAUTIFUL THE LOCATION IS, AS WELL AS WITHIN WALKING DISTANCE TO THE TOWN. OUR HONEYMOON SUITE WAS BEAUTIFUL, IT WAS SO NICE TO HAVE A BIT OF LUXURY FOLLOWING ALL THE MADNESS OF THE DAY. ON TOP OF THAT, THE FOOD WAS EXCELLENT. MANY OF OUR GUESTS STILL RAVE ABOUT HOW DELICIOUS EVERYTHING WAS. WE EVEN CAME BACK THE FOLLOWING DAY FOR DINNER AS WE WANTED TO TRY SOME OF THE OTHER THINGS ON THE MENU. I CAN’T FIND FAULT IN ANYTHING AT THE WATERFRONT. MY HUSBAND AND I ARE THRILLED THAT WE DECIDED TO GO WITH THE WATERFRONT FOR OUR SPECIAL DAY AND RECOMMEND IT WHOLEHEARTEDLY TO ANYONE LOOKING TO GET MARRIED IN THE AREA.

From first moment we contacted The Waterfront they were fantastic. Kept me calm and catered to every need. The day was perfect and staff couldnt of made the day any more special. Went above and beyond our expectations. They took all the stress out of the day. Would advise anyone planning a wedding to have their special day here. Views, food, rooms and staff are amazing.

We had the most amazing wedding day on Friday 4th October 2019. From our first meeting with Marie, we knew we were in excellent hands. She was so accommodating and easy to deal with. We were blessed with sunshine after Storm Lorenzo and our guests were blown away by the setting and gorgeous sea views. The service was excellent and a special mention must go to the excellent chefs; the food was fantastic- the leg of lamb was the clear winner with our guests! I couldn't recommend Marie and her team at the Waterfront highly enough.

We picked the Waterfront Hotel as our wedding venue and it was honestly the best decision we ever made! Marie, Justin and all the staff made our day so special. The hotel itself is stunning and all of our guests were blown away by the location and views. Marie was more than accommodating with all of our requests and her organisation meant that we had no stress in the lead up to the big day. The food was outstanding and the service was brilliant too! What made it extra special was the little unexpected touches that were lovely surprises throughout the day. Thanks again to all the staff, we'll definitely be back on many occasions in future!

We got married on the 06/07/19 and had the reception in the beautiful Waterfront Hotel. Marie was a pleasure to work with from start to finish and helped in all the small details. We were blessed with the most beautiful weather and guests loved the arrival drinks reception outside in the sun with our own personalised summer cocktail. I was told by many it was the best wedding meal they ever had! Food was always hot and out on time. Rooms in hotel are also beautiful and we can't wait to stay again soon. We only wish we could do it all again!

Cannot praise the Waterfront Hotel highly enough with special mention going to Marie our wedding coordinator. In the weeks coming up to the wedding she kept in contact to ensure there would be no last minute panic and alerted me to things I hadn’t thought of. Nothing was a problem! On the day she had everything organized to a t-even bringing in some of her own garden flowers to add to our tables. Our drinks reception was outside and it made our entrance on horses all the better

We had the most amazing day celebrating our wedding on Easter Monday at the Waterfront Hotel Dungloe. We can’t recommend the hotel enough, the staff were fantastic and the meal was beautiful. We couldn’t fault anything. Marie was fantastic to work with throughout the planning, nothing was ever too much trouble. The staff take a lot of pride in their work which was evident on the day! Our guests still talk about the food, the friendly staff and the hotel itself! We are looking forward to our next stay.
