We are sat in our Honeymoon suite at the chateau on our 2nd evening after the wedding, reflecting on what was, without doubt, the best day of our lives. We were going to write on our return, but just felt we wanted to say thank you sooner rather than later. It was absolutely the most perfect day, from the weather, the Church ceremony, the exquisite food and the lovely company that shared our special day. We have had so many comments on the beauty and magic of the Chateau, surrounded by woodland and the lovely Rozel Harbor. Others have commented on the quality and quantity of the food as well as the excellent waiting and bar staff. They were all so very approachable, smiley, human(!), proactive and very efficient. The speed in which they got the food out was impressive and many people mentioned that their glasses were never empty during the reception drinks. Some guests also commented on how the water and wine on tables was always replenished – something we specifically requested. The waiting staff were managed very well by Naomi, who also made sure any dietary requirements were strictly adhered to. Naomi, Raluca and Sonia were a complete dream all day, making sure we had everything we needed and going above and beyond what we had expected. We felt so incredibly looked after. Chateau La Chaire was the perfect venue for our wedding for so many reasons. The staff were welcoming from the very beginning. Sofia made it clear that there was nothing she wouldn't try and arrange to make our special day perfect. She was so accommodating and made the process simple and positive from day 1. On the day of the wedding she ensured that everything ran smoothly, and as a result, it was the perfect day. Everything went as planned, thanks to her organisation skills. All other staff were also extremely helpful and even entertained the child guests that wouldn't leave them alone. We felt so important, and our guests also appreciated all the hard work they put in. The food was beautiful and there was plenty of it. The sharing platter starter was a particular hit with our guests as it had something to satisfy everyone. Having the venue to ourselves made our wedding the intimate and family-orientated wedding that we wanted it to be. People had space to do their own thing but could also hear when it was time to run to the dancefloor for their favourite song. It was also lovely to wake up and see some of our guests the next morning over a gorgeous breakfast. Overall, the perfect venue, staff, food and atmosphere for our wedding. I wouldn't have wanted it any other way. Thank you all so much!

This boutique hotel is absolutely breathtaking! Not only the public areas but also the rooms. The wedding coordinator Sofia will help you with the smallest details and will always give you an advise when needed. We were very happy with her as a wedding coordinator and do appreciate the personal touch. Not last we would like to thank the whole team for going the extra mile to make our special day be perfect! Can't wait to return for dinner, afternoon tea or an overnight stay at Chateau La Chaire! Thank you all!

We planned a medieval banquet here for our wedding including court jesters, our day was perfect we could not have asked for more. The venue is absolutely beautiful, quiet, elegant, to us perfect. All of the rooms are decorated immaculately, the function room has a great sense of grandeur ideal for the meal but transforms brilliantly with the lighting for music and dancing after. The bedrooms are huge but cosy with the jacuzzi bath and four poster beds. The hotel staff and in particular the wedding co-ordinator went out of their way to help us and to accommodate all our requests. Everyone was kind, helpful and the venue had a great sense of fun and family amounts the staff, it was a pleasure to have them around. The food was fantastic, delicious and beautifully presented. We are looking forward to going back for dinner as often as possible. A very big thank you to the chef. The sommelier had excellent knowledge and helped us choose the ideal wines to accompany our meal. Having access to the bar provided a great room for the older guests to sit and relax and also for our photo booth to be set up. We can’t thank you enough and will be back for our anniversary.

We had planned to have our wedding at the stunning hotel and was introduced to Sofia Gomes who was going to help us with the wedding. We were unsure what we wanted and what to do but Sofia was there to help us and hold our hand all the way through. The pre planning was excellent with Sofia's help and her recommendations/confirmation of our choices of people who were involved in making the wedding special helped ease our nerves. We booked the whole hotel and this was definately a great choice with us able to have fun without spoiling any ones elses time. The venue was breathtaking and the staff were amazing. It was a memorable occassion and one made more special by celebrating at the Chateau la Chaire. Definitely the place for weddings.

Our Wedding Day at Chateau La Chaire was made perfect by the most wonderful team of people you could wish to involve in the most special day of your life at the most beautiful venue. We chose Chateau La Chaire for our wedding day for two reasons, first for the beauty and style of the lovely building nestling in the side of a very old hillside, and ideally suited to cater for a small and intimate group such as ours, but as importantly the way we were treated from the moment we visited the hotel even before any discussion began about the possibility of holding a wedding there. Every single member of staff that we've ever come across at Chateau La Chaire has been smiling, helpful, easy to talk to and nothing is too much trouble. The service is not obsequious, it is not stiff and stilted, everyone is charming and relaxed and attentive. The Events Manager, Sofia, helped us organise everything from the UK over email and she gave the impression nothing was ever difficult. During the week run up to the day itself, Sofia and all of the team were an absolute delight to talk to and work with. Every little detail was catered for and any detail that hadn't been thought of was suggested by Sofia or Daniel. And they all did all of it with a smile. We went round a number of alternative venue possibilities before we chose Chateau La Chaire and we are in no doubt we had the most happy and precious day of our lives at the most wonderful hotel because each and every one of these people played a part in the adventure.
