When we say perfect, we really mean perfect. Ashdown Park hosted the perfect wedding reception for us, we cannot thank the staff enough for the service they provided. Everything was on time, coordinated to perfection, and we thoroughly enjoyed our day. Many of the guests saying it was the best wedding they had ever been to! Milly, our coordinator, was truly excellent throughout, replying promptly to emails with any queries we had, and made us feel so calm and welcoming on the day. We cannot thank her enough for making our day so special. We will never forget it and we will be staying every anniversary. Ashdown Park has a very special place in our hearts.

Getting married at Ashdown Park Hotel was a special and memorable experience for us. The wedding went without a hitch, thanks to Tanya and the team's attention to minute detail, keen sense of service, and going above and beyond to satisfy even the unexpected needs of every guest. The meticulously prepared arrangements and delicious, well presented food and drinks ensured that everyone felt comfortable and enjoyed themselves to the fullest extent. You was absolutely amazing from when we first met you all the way to the day. Nothing was too much trouble and you always had great ideas. You accommodated our dog Buster so well and made sure he was involved with ease. I never felt stressed planning our wedding, I actually really enjoyed it and that was down to you. Steve, the toast master was incredible! If you was born to do a job, Steve was made for that. He was so lovely and felt like part of the family, I loved him. He told you exactly what was happening next and made you feel at ease at every step. Ashdown Park staff, were so lovely. Everytime we came, they were so lovely but on the day they gave that extra smile and kind words. You always feel so welcomed at your hotel and we are so excited to celebrate with you every year and relive our special day. Dylan was amazing and had incredible attention to detail on the decoration of the room. It was beyond my expectations. He was so calm and collective even when there were people who maybe had a bit too much to drink. He dealt with it very professionally. Also I loved the espresso martinis for me, I'm not a big drinker and loved my little drink for me. Everything was so easy to pick up in the morning and put away with so much care. We had the Wedding of our dreams at Ashdown Park Hotel. At every stage of the process, the staff were exceptional and went above and beyond to ensure we had the most special day. Tanya was an excellent wedding planner and made sure everything was in place and planned in a timely manner. She is very experienced and very good at her job. Ben Brooker is an outstanding manager and did a great job at showing the venue to us and helping us choose Ashdown as our wedding venue. Becky Floyd is a credit to the Hotel and ensured that the day ran perfectly and made sure all of our requests were fulfilled. Iona as Operations manager on the day was exceptional, working very hard and ensuring that our day went flawlessly. Thank you Ashdown Park Hotel, we will be back very soon.

We can't thank Tanya and the hardworking Ashdown Park staff enough for fulfilling the Wedding of our dreams. From start to finish preparations were pretty flawless; Ionna, Becky , Morgan, the efficient and energetic servers and concierge, Christian were all marvellous and accommodating. I can safely say nothing was too much trouble. We had a fairytale day in a glorious setting and most people mentioned they thought they were on a movie set! Well, where do we start! We want to thank you sincerely as we had the most wonderful day. Nothing about the day would we have changed. You and your staff really pulled out all the stops to make us feel very special and absolutely nothing was too much bother. To think that we would have the wedding of our dreams during a global pandemic was unimaginable yet you achieved it. Specifically we would really like to thank Iona. She is a real credit to the hotel; her attitude is flawless, she was able to sort out all of our questions and requests with ease, and she listened patiently to our many changes of opinion with decoration! She had fantastic attention to detail and I’m sure she was a large part of why the day went so well. We really respected the fact that throughout the whole wedding planning experience (rather longer than originally intended as it was!) we consistently saw the same hotel staff, all of whom remembered us with a smile and made us feel welcome. It was very reassuring to then see the same staff on our wedding day. Our guests have all commented on the food; nobody could fault it and all the tweaks we made from the menu tasting were all accommodated on the day. Neither me or Ryan managed to be seated for desert and so it was kept aside for us and re-served with cheese which was a lovely touch. I had made some very specific requests to the bar with respect to wine for my dad and that was remembered all evening too without prompt. We honestly could not fault the service. The venue itself was stunning, the guests were all blown away by the transition from downstairs to upstairs. We want to acknowledge your patience with our indecisiveness on the indoor/outdoor seating with respect to the weather and also accommodating the singer both inside or outside. Finally, the beautiful touch of the embroidered dressing gown gift in our suite was just wonderful. It really was a lovely surprise when we made it back to our suite after the day.

From our very first meeting to checkout the day after our wedding, there are not enough words to explain how we feel, the beauty of Ashdown Park Hotel, its grounds & the entire place is just a pure delight! The efficiency of staff is second to none! And the chefs “Wow what amazing food” We spent two years carefully planning our wedding day & the actual day itself could not of been any more perfect! Tanya our wedding coordinator was fantastic, kind, caring, & her professionalism goes above & beyond the norm! She was so kind to me, I was such an anxious bride & she helped me so much by making decisions & stepping in to advise what was best! She was always approachable, put up with a good few emails from me when I was panicking about something & always responded quickly & with everything answered ! We cannot thank her enough for her expertise as a wedding coordinator! She is tops! Claire looked after us in between & was equally as helpful & professional & Iona who looked after us during menu tastings & at other intervals was amazing, everyone worked so hard to give us the wedding day of our dreams & we most definitely had that. It was just exquisite from start to finish, we would wholeheartedly recommend Ashdown Park Hotel & Country Club to anyone thinking about getting married, if you want a grand affair to a very high standard then Ashdown is the place for you! We booked our venue in 2019 and since then Ashdown has been amazing. Our wedding was originally booked for 2021 but due to covid we had to postpone. Ashdown couldn't do more for us and kept in touch with us all the time. Our wedding coordinator, Milly, was absolutely lovely and amazing she was very efficient with responding to emails and nothing was ever too much. She listened to and answered all our questions leading up to the big day. Milly contacted our suppliers and took so much pressure off of us, I felt really relaxed coming up to the day! The team were amazing on the day and the toastmaster was a great addition who helped get people organised for the photos and direct them to where they should be. The food was absolutely amazing (as always) and the venue is just so beautiful and has the wow factor! Definitely wish we could do our day again as it went by too quickly! Our room for the night was also lovely and the personalised robes were such a lovely touch (I had always wanted an Ashdown dressing gown!) Can't believe it is all done now, but would love to do it all again! Ashdown were amazing throughout and couldn't have asked for a better day.

From the first call to enquire about our wedding through to the day itself the friendliness and professionalism of the staff shone through. We had every confidence that our wedding would be delivered how we wanted it, and we were not disappointed. The attention to detail and the responsiveness of staff to changes in advance and during the day meant that everything ran smoothly and in a completely stress free way. All our guests commented on the beauty of the surroundings, the quality of the food and the friendliness of all the staff. We had a wonderful day and would not hesitate to recommend the hotel to others looking for a wedding venue.

Having our wedding at Ashdown Park was the best decision we made!!! The location is perfect and the venue is beyond stunning. We had a Christmas wedding and the venue looked absolutely magical! I cannot stress enough how good the customer service is at Ashdown Park. Everyone was lovely, friendly, professional, efficient and polite. We felt that everyone went out of their way to make it a magical time for not just us, but all our friends and family. Although the venue did the majority of decorating, I wanted to do a bit of setting up myself on the night before the wedding. The staff even came in at 11:30 pm to see if we were okay and told us they were there for us if we needed anything! I was so impressed to have someone prioritise customer service at nearly midnight! Everything from planning to the wedding day was a very smooth ride and I do believe a lot of that is down to how great of a team is at Ashdown. I really can't recommend them enough!

The biggest of warm thank you to Lucy, for her warmth and compassion in making our day so very special. Although small in numbers, six, you made our day feel 600 guests, and focused on us all from arrival too when our day finished never leaving us throughout our day. I was so nervous, but you were there to support me and such kind words that I will treasure for ever. The afternoon cream tea and drinks were perfection, along with all the flowers and room beautiful arranged even the rose petals on the floor. Thank you again, you made our day so special . We had the most amazing wedding at Ashdown Park Hotel in the summer of 2021, after having to postpone the day due to COVID. Tanya and the team were highly professional, and worked with us to ensure that we were still able to have the wedding of our dreams. The venue was absolutely stunning and the recommended suppliers did a fantastic job at decorating the venue and providing entertainment. Everything ran very smoothly on the day and we had no complaints at all. We thoroughly recommend Ashdown Park Hotel as a wedding supplier, and want to thank everyone involved for giving us all we ever wanted and more. Thank you!!

We came upon Ashdown Park Hotel as it was near us, but also such a lovely venue on the website. We only wanted to do something small (given current circumstances), and therefore thought that having an overnight stay for us and our guests would be a lovely idea. Claire, who organised everything for us beforehand, was just a pleasure to work with. She had many ideas and suggestions, when I hadn't even thought of many things. And even though it was small, it didn't feel like it. We had a registry service elsewhere, but when we arrived at the hotel, Iona (our events manager on the day) was ready and waiting with some bubbles for us, which was well received! We were swept into where we needed to be, and when we were busy outside with photos of our own, our wedding party was well looked after and all checked in. All of our rooms were lovely, and our room (especially) was just mind blowing. We felt like royalty. All the staff knew who we were, and we received so many congratulations. It was such a special day! We had a private dinner in the evening, which we really enjoyed. The food was delicious, and Iona and her team were there the entire time. The next morning when we arrived at our breakfast table, the hotel had organised it so that we could all sit together at one big table. Our flower display had been moved as well onto our breakfast table, so we could enjoy it a second time. We felt like our day was still in full force. We stayed an extra night, when our guests checked out, and our dinner that evening (as well) was just delicious. And we had yet another surprise, as the restaurant staff had 'congratulations' written in chocolate on our dessert plates. We literally felt like we owned the place, it was spectacular. I'd recommend Ashdown Park Hotel (and it's staff) in a heart beat. We enjoyed our wedding so much and they all played such a big part in that. We are very grateful to them all! :)

It is a truly beautiful setting, with super facilities, exquisite food, and friendly and efficient staff. The events team are so knowledgeable, and thier professional and confident manner takes the pressure and stress out of wedding organising, whilst still ensuring you that it's your day. They tailored everything exactly to our requirements. My husband and I just celebrated our wedding at Ashdown Park Hotel on Saturday 30th October. It was genuinely the BEST day ever! Ashdown Park Hotel is set within an absolutely stunning building and grounds. The service of the staff was impeccable and we couldn’t fault it in any way! All of our guests are still raving about how beautiful the hotel is, and how amazing everything was! Ashdown is the most beautiful Venue and we feel so privileged to have had our reception here. The food is exceptional, the service and staff are so accommodating. The team made sure our day was so special, even with the restrictions of covid. We were made to feel as thought we were the most important people and this was so special. We had a wonderful wedding day at the Ashdown Park hotel. The venue is second to none. Our guests were blown away by the location and setting. The outside wedding ceremony next to the lake in the gorgeous sunshine really made our day. The setting in the chapel for our sit down meal and evening reception was also stunning. The hospitality staff went above and beyond to ensure we had a great day. The accommodation rooms were also stunning. We’d highly recommend Ashdown Park Hotel as a wedding venue. The beautiful grounds, food, and exceptional staff. From the moment we arrived the staff were superb and helped with anything that we needed. There were a couple of minor hiccups but these were dealt with calmly and professionally. A special thanks to our lovely wedding coordinator Lucy who helped us in the build up to our day. Lucy was more like a Maid of Honour and has become a friend and we are really grateful that we were lucky enough to have you be a part of our special day.
