Myself and my husband got married on New Year’s Eve 2019 and it was the best day and night. The staff at the Marine were like family nothing was too much for them and they honestly couldn’t do enough. The wedding department at the hotel were so professional and the meal at our wedding was the best food I have ever had. All of our guests are still talking about the wedding day.

Well what can I say about our wedding at the marine hotel, one word comes to mind, Magical, truly was an amazing experience made all the more special by the staff, from the moment we booked to the day itself , we booked the all aboard package and we were not let down, from the smallest detail to more obvious details the staff were on the money, even if I wanted to be petty about something, I can’t , it was flawless and went exactly how we hoped but only better, to say it exceeded our expectations is an understatement , I would not hesitate to recommend this hotel as a wedding venue, in our opinion it was probably the best venue we were ever at, that may seem bias since it was our wedding but every single guest said the same thing, so when we got that feed back it just reaffirmed how special the marine hotel and the staff are, thanks so much for a fantastic day.

We had the most magical midsummer wedding at the Marine Hotel!! The location & views are absolutely stunning and the service throughout the hotel is first class. Caroline and the entire team at Marine Hotel went above & beyond to ensure both we and our guests had a fantastic & completely stress free day full of love & laughter. From the day we set our date Caroline was always on hand to calmly guide us and answer all our queries. When the big day finally arrived (and even the previous night when we stayed in the hotel!) we were made to feel like the most important people in the hotel by every member of staff we met. No request, big or small, was any trouble. Whilst providing professional service throughout, the staff also joined in the laughter & fun and felt like an extended part of our group of family & friends. Tina kept everything running like clockwork throughout the day. The fabulous Connie looked after us incredibly well for the meal and seamlessly took care of any dietary requests from our guests. Richard greeted us warmly in the bar on both nights and ensured nobody was left thirsty! Pauline welcomed us for breakfast each morning and went out of her way to ensure we wanted for nothing. We had our ceremony in the garden which was set up beautifully for us and the amazing views provided a wonderful backdrop for wedding photos & memories we'll treasure forever. We cannot thank you all enough for giving us such a wonderful day & will be highly recommending the Marine Hotel to all our friends & families. We look forward to coming back for a visit soon.

Fantastic day made special by the location and weather allowing an outdoor ceremony A big shoutout to Tina for her efficiency and organisational skills. Food and service were great and we all had a very enjoyable and memorable day. Having a wheelchair accessible room available which was fully compliant with up to date standards of functionality and comfort was a big plus for one of our guests and we would like to thank all the team in the Marine for their efforts to make our special day... special!

I’m not entirely sure where to start!! We had the weekend of our lives that weekend. From the moment we booked the wedding over two year ago until today, it has flowed seamlessly. During the couple of face to face meetings with Caroline she clearly recognised our personalities and used that to add little twists and treats that we never even thought of ourselves! An ENORMOUS thank you from myself and Mick to Caroline, Mairead, Tina, Ciara, Richard and the entire staff of the Marine for making this weekend what it was! It couldn’t be faulted! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Ours was only a small party of 12 people and a few more in the evening, but from the very start of the booking process to the end of our day was handled by such pleasant and professional staff who could not do enough for you! The wedding meal was professional quality (beef or salmon) and there was more than enough to fill everyone. The staff were assigned to our party for the afternoon and made sure everyone was topped up and had enough to eat. In the evening, we just retired to a reserved part of the terrace bar and relaxed in the surroundings with fantastic views of Dublin bay out of the window. Later in the evening, our buffet meal (chicken goujons and sandwiches) where served and once again, the portions where very generous and the range of sandwiches extensive. Again, everyone was full and satisfied. Throughout the day, our guests where commenting on the food, the staff, the location and the hotel in general and everyone sang praises. A great time was had by all - many commenting it was the best wedding they had attended. We would not hesitate to recommend the Marine Hotel to anyone and we where only too glad we found it. From the moment we viewed the venue we knew this was where we wanted to get married! The hotel itself is beautiful with grounds that back onto the beach with amazing views of Dublin Bay. Caroline who we dealt with for all the pre-planning was so helpful and answered every question we had. On the day of the wedding all the staff were so amazing and even helped calm some nerves. The whole day was run so smoothly that we didn't have to worry about anything. The food was wonderful and all the guests raved about it. Connie and the team serving dinner were brilliant and they even made sure that we didn't miss the opportunity to get a sunset photo on the beach! We would have no hesitation about recommending the Marine to anyone for their big day.

I couldn’t have had a better venue for our wedding day. We got married in Raheny church then went on to the marine hotel in Sutton. Beautiful scenery for wedding photos. When I was planning the wedding, the wedding coordinators I was dealing with were fantastic and a great help to us, we were able to tweak and change a few things with no issues at all. The function room was stunning and was exactly what I had asked for, the meal was served quickly and efficiently, nobody was left waiting. Beautiful hotel lovely staff. I would highly recommend it.

We had our wedding at the Marine in Sutton, we got married out in the garden, it was just stunning. I would like to say a big thank you to Caroline our wedding coordinator for making everything go so smoothly. We didn’t have to worry about a thing also the staff on the day were just fantastic, the hotel itself was just so picturesque, I would highly recommend the Marine Hotel to anyone getting married. A hidden gem in Sutton. We had our wedding ceremony and reception at the Marine Hotel in Sutton. I can honestly say we had the best experience possible. One thing you will notice about the staff at the Marine is the absolute pride all the staff have when showing you around or telling you about the facilities. You definitely get the feeling this group of people are not just working at the hotel they are very much part of the hotel and what makes this hotel different to any other. We booked our wedding in February and dropped in a number of times to check details or ask questions. We were always welcomed and the duty managers always made themselves available to answer any questions or calm us down. All our guests spoke about how great the Marine was, the views of Dublin Bay, the Bar, the food, everything was spot on. The catering staff on the day were amazing and looked after our guests fantastically well. Many of our guests stayed overnight in the Hotel and all found the rooms to the highest standard. The breakfast next morning was also served by two very pleasant ladies who congratulate us and made sure we had anything we wished for. As a coeliac, it's not always possible to get food I can eat, but these two ladies made sure I was well looked after. To Caroline and all the team at the Marine hotel Sutton. All of our guests were wowed by your courtesy and professionalism, the wonderful food, the attention to every tiny detail, and most of all the friendliness and warmth of every single member of your fabulous team. From the day we booked our wedding 18 months ago, right through the planning stages, the run up to and the big day itself, the level of service and attention to detail by all of the Marine Team was outstanding. We held our ceremony and reception at the Marine with many of our guests also staying in the hotel. We had hoped to have our ceremony on the lovely lawn outside however on the day itself, mother nature had other ideas. We needn't have worried as the fantastic Marine team moved the whole event indoors with the Brent Suite beautifully set up and decorated for our ceremony, and then transformed later for our reception and evening party. Our day was completely stress free because you guys are so good at what you do. We cannot rate our wedding experience with the Marine Hotel Sutton highly enough. 5 Stars, 10/10, simply exceptional!
