We were delighted that we had our wedding at Kenmare Bay Hotel, the staff were friendly and helpful. The food was delicious and all our guests said the same. Everything ran smoothly and it was very well organised, we didn't have to worry about a thing. We couldn't have been happier with the wedding package, it covered so much that there wasn't much left for us to organise which suited us perfectly. From including a lovely wedding car & driver, decorating the room beautifully for the ceremony to having little baskets of essentials in the bathrooms for guests, the hotel had thought of it all. From the moment we met Alan & Sile in 2018 we were so excited to have our wedding reception at the Kenmare Bay Hotel. Alan talked us through what the day would be like and it was lovely to be able to visualize the running order of the event. Unfortunately, Covid hit and we took the decision to postpone the wedding twice. Sile was so supportive each time we were looking for a new date. As our wedding date in March 2023 was finally on the horizon, Alan was so helpful and again went through what our day would be like from start to finish. It was so lovely to be able to feel the excitement once more. I stayed in the beautiful Luxury Lodges with my bridesmaids, Mom and little girl on the night before the wedding. We got such a lovely warm welcome on our arrival and I got a peak of the function room. A number of guests stayed the night before and we had a wonderful sing-song at the piano in the bar. On the morning of the wedding, breakfast was delivered to us at the Lodges, so we could all get ready and eat in a relaxed atmosphere. When the ceremony in Kenmare Church was over, we were greeted at the hotel door by Tom in his fabulous tuxedo, who was there to usher us all in for the Drinks Reception. The wedding Reception was so fantastic, we were lucky to have 270 guests join us for what was such a wonderful day. It was seamless, the layout of the function room, the service - and the food was just sublime. From 2018 to 2023 it was such an absolute pleasure to deal with Alan, Sile, Hanneke in Reservations. There is a fantastic team at the hotel and we could feel how genuine they all were from the moment we met them. From the outset, all we wanted was a big party to celebrate our marriage, we got that, and so much more. Wish we could do it all again! Love, Edel and Mervin Clifford.

Thank you to all the staff at Kenmare Bay for making our special day so easy to organise and to Alan for helping us along the way and always at the other end of the phone if needed. The food was just absolutely amazing and the service was top class....could not fault any of it in any way. Anything that we requested for the day was no problem and the function room was set up beautifully for the 300 guests. I would have no hesitation in recommending this wedding venue to anyone.

I couldn't recommend the team at Kenmare enough! Alan, Sile and the team couldn't have done enough for us on the lead up to the wedding and on the day. Things can be so stressful when planning a wedding so I was grateful to everyone at Kenmare for making it so easy for us to plan. We had our wedding and ceremony in this beautiful hotel. We would both highly recommend this hotel as an amazing wedding venue, the food was amazing and great value for money. The reception room was beautiful as it was beautifully decorated. From the moment we met with the wedding coordinators Alan and Sile, we knew we were in safe hands. Nothing was ever too much for them. They were both so helpful and went above and beyond what we expected to ensure we had a great day. The management and staff are amazing in the hotel. We had the most amazing wedding day. Having checked out other Hotels and premises, including having a Marquee in our local on the Island where we both live, we knew The Kenmare Bay Hotel was for us. From our first phone call with Alan in October 2021 to our wedding day in September, there was nothing too big or too small for him and his team. Every phone called answered, every email replied to, no matter how trivial. They were on hand with tips, local suppliers, timings etc. Their wedding package was amazing, it fitted every budget, every dietary requirement, nothing was impossible. All the decor in the ceremony room was done, right down to the floral spray for the candles, which was a lovely surprise when we went the day before our wedding to check things over, with bouquets in hand to make one. Those flowers filled my flower girl bouquets instead. Carlo, their driver of their car, who came to collect me (Alan said it would be the first time they needed to take a ferry to collect a bride), was amazing. He had myself, my son who was giving me away and my daughter who was my chief bridesmaid(we travelled together) all very relaxed, so much so I was doing my daily wordle on my way over. No nerves to show. The wedding itself was a truly wonderful occasion. Every detail exact, as it should be. The food was divine, and so said all our guests, the wine was flowing, the entire staff were out on their own, pure perfection, nothing was too much for any of them. Sile was on hand with safety pins when I had a mild dress malfunction. The rooms were perfect on the night, and all that excellent treatment was just the same the following they. They even had everything packed up, ready for us to take. Hand on my heart we can not sell the Kenmare Bay Hotel enough, our day was perfect, we had the most wonderful experience and delightful day in The Kenmare Bay Hotel. Thank you all

We absolutely 100% recommend Kenmare Bay Hotel & Resort. We worked with Alan, and he was brilliant from start to finish. We booked during Covid, and Alan did a video call tour with us of the hotel. We got such a great vibe from the very beginning. We didn’t get that from any other venue, so choosing Kenmare Bay wasn’t too difficult. The service was second to none. Alan couldn’t do enough for us. People are still talking about the food and service from the day. It was perfect. Kenmare Bay will always hold a special place in our hearts!

Where do I start !! There are not enough words to say just how amazing the Kenmare Bay Hotel is for Weddings from the first meeting to all the date changes from COVID, to the build up, to the day itself, the day after and now a month on the most amazing memories. Not only is the ballroom a wedding dream but the STAFF ARE ABSOLUTELY AMAZING. Sile , Hennka , Alan and Keegan went above and beyond for us nothing was a worry or stress and not to mention the great craic they were. The food was incredible, we Loved the two bars on the ballroom and all the extras like the candy cart the wishing well bathroom toiletries , the flowers lanterns and decor really added to our special day. I just wish I could do it all again it was the best day of our lives. And the feedback from our guests was fantastic x

Kenmare Bay Hotel was fantastic to deal with when it came to Our Wedding nearly a year ago now in such uncertain times! We had the pleasure with dealing with Alan as our wedding coordinator! Alan went above and beyond to make our day so special…! I’d highly recommend Kenmare Bay Hotel for a wedding..! Function room is stunning and very spacious… food was top notch! Drinks reception is ideal as it keeps all your wedding guests together in the same area!

From Day 1 back in July 2020 when we had the tour we knew we had the venue. We did look elsewhere but ultimately the vibe we got at Kenmare was better than any other venue in both Cork and the Kingdom. Nothing was too much trouble for Alan and even replying on your day off. Alan you are a gent. Thank you for everything. To Hanneke on reservations, thank you also as I was emailing back and forth about accommodation and was never an issue for you. We can not thank all the staff that worked this weekend enough from the reception, bar, cleaning, waiters throughout everyone was brilliant and so friendly. Shout out especially to Dave (Hozier as we called him) and Sam (George Ezra) the bar staff on the evening they were great fun. The amount of people who have been in contact since we left saying how amazing all the staff were to them and the food!!! Where to even start, out of this world. The hake was the best hake they've ever had, this was commented on by so many people. I don't even eat fish and I had it and can't wait to come back for more. The beef was perfect according to those who had it. One of my friends said "it was the nicest meal she's ever had". Even people commented on how good the potatoes and vegetables were. Not 1 single complaint was heard. The food was so delicious and I had some serious foodies at the wedding who gave it a 5 star rating. I would highly recommend Kenmare Bay Hotel for a wedding and would love to relive my day again.

Liam and I celebrated our wedding day on the 26th of August 2022. We had decided to have our reception in the Kenmare Bay Hotel, based on previous weddings we had attended there. I cannot recommend it enough. Alan Donnery the wedding co-ordinator was outstanding. From the moment we enquired about this reception venue to the actual day of the wedding he couldn't have done any more for us. We were driven to the venue by staff member from Kenmare, he was so attentive and helpful. The reservations team were accommodating and obliging. I feel the service we received exceeded any 5 star hotel. On the day of the wedding the food was just amazing, and the staff were fantastic. Alan, made an entertaining and brilliant MC. The feedback we received from all the guests was very positive. It was genuinely one of the best days of our lives. I feel that the Kenmare Bay Hotel is a fantastic wedding venue which is deserving of a 10/10 rating.

Well the Kenmare Bay was a fantastic venue for our wedding. Everything went so smoothly down to every small detail from the ceremony, the food, wine bar service and all the staff waitresses all had a smile on their faces so friendly couldn't have asked for a better day. The champagne breakfast was delivered with a smile and a friendly smile I couldn't thank them enough for how good our day was. I would recommend the Kenmare Bay to anyone and will return there many times as every time I go there the service is tip top class. Alan had everything running so smoothly he was on top of everything and I had not heard one bad word about the food from any of our guests and usually when you go to a wedding there is always some complaints from someone, it says alot about the hotel. It's just a spotless clean friendly atmosphere to be in and even the location is great if you want to head into town plus all my family loved the houses, when you have a big family it was a lot easier for them and they were very good and accommodating to my brother and his family who switched from two hotel rooms to a house/villa not sure what they are called but not a lot of places would do this for people. The package was just fantastic we were very satisfied with how well we were looked after. The prices for such high quality was very satisfying and the honeymoon suite was unique, the dance floor was full all night and it's a night I or my wife will never forget. The Kenmare Bay is well justified in being nominated for this award and its staff should be proud as they are all such lovely people in my view and anything that was needed there was no problem, they were there to help. I wish them the best of luck with this award and will look forward to returning for another great night there. Beautiful people, fantastic management, fantastic food, fantastic service, spotless toilets, Kenmare Bay what a beautiful hotel. I salute you never change the way ye run this hotel as I will never forget how good a night it was for us.

Kenmare Bay Hotel was everything and more when it came to our wedding reception. The staff and wedding coordinators were exceptional going above and beyond for us. The food was beautiful, everyone complimented us on the meal. The hotel itself has amazing amenities from the leisure centre to the holiday lodges. It is a day we will never forget because they made it so special not just for ourselves but for everyone.

We had our wedding reception in the Kenmare Bay in July 2021 and it was the most incredible day from start to finish. All the preparations were during covid lockdowns and we live in the UK which makes it even more complicated. The support from the hotel was amazing. There was never any pressure, they were always very happy to discuss our concerns and put our minds at ease and keep us up to date with new rules and regulations. Although our wedding numbers reduced massively due to the government guidelines at the time, the staff at the Kenmare Bay were always extremely accommodating and reassuring. They couldn’t have done more for us and this resulted in a seamless day. All of the guests were extremely impressed with the food and service and on the day, as were we. We couldn’t recommend the Kenmare Bay enough. We have since been back for our 1 year anniversary and the staff were just as welcoming and accommodating for this. Thank you so much to the team.

Couldn’t rate The Kenmare Bay Hotel enough, Alan and he’s team were like our wedding planners. From the moment I booked I didn’t have a worry, everything was done and done to a T. We enjoyed our complimentary night stay there for our tasting menu, we had a ball everyone was so friendly and helpful. The food was excellent 5 stars all the ways, the finger food was amazing. They were so good to our children we could not thank them enough, we had the best day and night in a great location and such great staff. The function room was amazing all done up and the lighting, even our room was fabulous. Would highly recommend it and we will definitely go back for a family break in the near future !!!!

We celebrated our wedding at Kenmare Bay Hotel. We had a civil ceremony, drinks reception and evening meal here. Alan our wedding coordinator was outstanding, nothing was too much the response was always no problem, we can sort that or we can get that. From the time we arrived until the day we checked out we were treated like absolute royalty. The room set up for civil ceremony, drinks reception and evening function was outstanding. The food and service was 1st class. They really spoilt us on our special day. Every single member of staff we have encountered has been an absolute pleasure. I would highly recommend this venue to any couple looking to get married. 1st class in every way.

The Kenmare Bay Hotel was the absolute perfect location for our wedding. Everyone dreams of their perfect wedding and this somehow exceeded our expectations. Working with Alan and SIle was an amazing experience. We were coming to Kenmare from the States and planning a wedding from afar was quite a task. They were able to answer all of our questions and concerns quickly and completely. From bands and DJ's to wedding cakes they had recommendations for everything. The hotel was clean with nice modern rooms and the holidays homes were a nice thing to have for bigger families. The restaurant and bar were great and many meals and pints were enjoyed. The day before the wedding Alan and Sile were there to show us the ceremony, pre reception, and reception locations and answer any questions. They ran through the timeline and were accommodating to any request we had. On the wedding day Alan was available first thing in the morning working with his team to setup the spaces and make sure everything was exactly how we wanted it. When it came time for the ceremony Alan made sure all of our guests were seated and the music was ready to go. After the ceremony the hotel had a beautiful chauffeured car available for us to head wherever we wanted to take pictures. Our chauffeur Carlo was unbelievably attentive with champagne waiting for us and refilled the second we were finished with the glass. He knew all of the locations we wanted to go and got us to our destinations safe and sound. Upon our return to the hotel, Alan had all of our guests lined up at the hotel entrance as we entered via red carpet. It was an unbelievable entrance as newly weds and something we will never forget. The pre reception was great and gave us plenty of time to mingle before the dinner call. Dinner itself was absolutely delicious. The staff was attentive to all of our guests needs, the service was phenomenal. Overall we cannot recommend the Kenmare Bay Hotel enough, it exceeded our expectations!

We had the most amazing wedding at the Kenmare Bay Hotel this summer, the team were so good to deal with and Alan was patient, detailed and extremely accommodating to everything we wanted. Everyone commented on how attentive the staff were and the food was raved about by all of our guests. We went with 3 starter options and 3 main options to give our guests plenty of choice and every dish was perfect. Alan was also so helpful in recommending suppliers when I was having trouble sourcing what I wanted (also highly recommend the Torc irish dancers, they made the evening!). I was concerned about having the band start as early as possible so people weren't waiting too long after the dinner and the team had the day flowing with military precision so there was no lull in the day where people lost their momentum. All in all I couldn't recommend them enough.
