Firstly, I would like to thank Lisa, our amazing wedding coordinator, for all her help and work she did behind the scenes. She was amazing with the organization of our wedding, with all your generous emails and meetings we had over the past two years, especially the last 6 months since Kelly, has been deployed overseas with her work. She lead us with her expertise and guidance, helping us finalize the finishing touches we required for our special day, especially with short notice. It is all greatly appreciated, and we cannot thank you enough. We both would also like to thank Marian (Banquet Manager) and Rowan with all your staff, for the amazing organization, decoration and set up of the rooms we utilized for our wedding day. We were both blown away with the meticulous attention to detail with the plan that we produced for the wedding ceremony, wedding breakfast and evening reception. It was faultless, amazing and beautifully presented, as we requested. Lastly, but not least we would like to thank Gareth Hope (head chef at St. Pierre) and his amazing team for the delicious food we had on the day and the consultation his staff gave us throughout our menu tasting before our amazing day. John and I would like to give our sincere thanks to the entire team at St Pierre Marriott Hotel & Country Club for making our wedding day so brilliant. The staff were incredible in making the day flow so seamlessly. The chefs also did an amazing job with both the meal and the buffet. Everyone has commented that they haven't had food or a buffet that is that good at a wedding, and I definitely agree. The hotel has been a godsend with their organisation, and we are so lucky to have found this venue to host our special day. The wedding team at St Pierre were fantastic from start to finish. We were lucky enough to have Samantha Watkins as our coordinator. Sam was always in touch keeping us updated on progress. She made herself readily available for meetings when we needed to discuss changes or new plans. Sam put together a comprehensive checklist (which she refers to as her wedding bible) that really left no stone untouched. Every last detail was covered and we can't thank her enough. On the day of our wedding we were looked after by Callum, who was responsible for making sure all of the planning done by ourselves and Sam ran like clockwork, and it did! Callum regularly checked in with us throughout the day, making sure we were happy and had no concerns. Really have no complaints at all, our day was perfect, everything we had hoped it would be! The venue is beautiful, the staff were all very pleasant and helpful and we would reccomend choosing St Pierre to any couples looking to tie the knot in the future :) James and Nikita Stephenson

When we visited St Pierre we immediately fell in love with the venue and beautiful surroundings. We arranged an appointment with the wedding coordinator, Samantha (Sam) Watkins, from that first initial meeting we felt at complete ease. Sam was always available at the end of the phone and on email throughout the whole process. Sam was extremely professional at all times, and has a warm and welcoming approach who couldn't do enough to help us. A big THANK YOU to Sam for everything you done for us and for also making a fuss of our little boy, you are a real credit to St Pierre, you certainly go above and beyond! As our special day approached we visited the hotel to sample our wedding breakfast, it wasn't quite what we wanted but after meeting with the chef we were invited back and Ben Andrews and his team went above and beyond to cook us a superb meal on our return visit. Ben assured us that we wouldn't be disappointed on the day and we weren't. Our guests commented on how beautiful the food was. Thank you Ben and team of chefs. We have spoken to many of our day and evening guests who have the same feelings as us, the venue is in a beautiful setting and the food was stunning. To finish, we both want to thank all the staff that were involved in making our day one to remember, including Callum who coordinated the smooth running of our wedding day. It was the happiest day.

Hi Lisa. Tom and I both wanted to say thank you to you and Callum for making our day so fantastic. We really don’t have any complaints at all about either of you, or any of the other staff on the day. We both felt really looked after, and felt that you were all really responsive to changes on the day (like us arriving early!). I also want to pass on my special thanks to the ladies behind the bar, as they went out of their way to make me my favourite drink (margaritas) even though they didn’t have the stuff on that specific bar. James and I visited 9 different potential wedding venues after shortlisting from 20+ and had the pleasure of meeting Sam when we visited St Pierre. James and I had spent a lot of time working on exactly how we wanted our wedding celebration to unfold prior to meeting Sam. We also knew exactly what we didn’t want! We are both project managers and therefore value organisation and planning and understand how important it is to plan ahead and also that communication is essential to manage people’s expectations. Sam was incredibly friendly and professional and from the first visit we knew that we would be happy to hold our wedding weekend at the St Pierre. Sam just ‘got’ what we wanted to create with our celebration. We didn’t want a 'standard hotel wedding’, we were trying to create a relaxed weekend event with lots of personality and good organisation which would give our guests and most importantly us, a weekend to remember forever. Being the kind of organised couple that we are, we had lots of meetings and email exchanges with Sam regarding progress and bookings for various suppliers and entertainment that we were organising and Sam kept in constant contact with both of us regarding the Marriott side of things such as helping us to set up and secure room reservations for our 70 guests over the whole weekend. We had quite a few issues with the centralised booking department who were not geared up to deal with our room booking or the associated discount code for our guests which resulted in lots of enquiries to James and I from our guests. Many of them were advised different rates and terms. Sam took on the task of fixing the issues which we know is not part of her role. She definitely went over and above in terms of helping to sort this out. We are a very foody couple and spent a lot of time talking to Sam about how we envisaged our wedding menu evolving.

Sam did an incredible job organising our wedding. My husband and I had some different ideas about the table layout and wedding decoration in our wedding breakfast room. Nothing was too much trouble and Sam went above and beyond, making additional phone calls, to make sure our wedding day was exactly how we wanted it and very personal to us. Sam is the best wedding organiser because she is such a lovely person and very approachable. We sent many lengthy emails, had many phone calls and went to see her when we needed to. She’s very responsive and took each request very seriously and did everything she could to accommodate us. She became a good friend to my husband and I and even my mum throughout the wedding planning process! During the run up to the wedding Sam was flexible with us as we were both very busy at work. She did as much as she could to ensure we didn't get stressed in the weeks before the wedding but still made sure everything was under control. It was such a huge relief to have Sam! The organisation was exceptional and she did as much as she could to ensure that my husband and I were not stressed on the day. We cannot say enough good things about Sam and the team and we will never forget our amazing wedding day. Do not hesitate to book her as your wedding organiser. Thank you so much Sam!

Sam was attentive and respected all our requests and made sure that during the lead up to the wedding that all areas were covered and all details were 100% to our request. A few days before the big day we met with Marian who was keen to ensure that there was no stress for the Bride or Groom on the big day!! Marian and his team did the most wonderful job on the day, and you were invited to check the room and every change point prior to showing your guests so that it was 100% how you wanted it!! Any little details or help that we needed on the day were taken care off and nothing was too much trouble at all. I would definitely recommend St Pierre as with Sam and Marian as part of your team I am confident that your day will be just how you imagined, if not better – and you will enjoy your special day!!

It is with some regret that we have been delayed in contacting you to provide some feedback regarding our experience of St Pierre on our wedding day. We booked our wedding date with you 12 months before the event took place, and throughout that time we had numerous appointments with our wedding planner, Samantha (Sam) Watkins. Despite being an obviously very busy member of your team, Sam was always available to us and for us throughout the whole stressful process. Sam was extremely professional at all times but perhaps more importantly she was always warm, welcoming and friendly and couldn’t do enough to help us in whatever way we required. As we neared our ‘due date’ we came out to the hotel to sample our wedding breakfast. Unfortunately and for several reasons we didn’t enjoy our first sample meal, however thereafter Tony (chef) and his team went above and beyond to cook for us on our return visit a superb meal. Tony reassured us that we would not be disappointed on our wedding day, and we weren’t ! Our wedding meal was superb and the quality and standard commented on by many of our guests. To conclude, we wanted to make you aware of how fantastic your staff are, including Marian who co-ordinates the smooth running of the wedding day. It was a wonderfully happy and memorable event and our venue (your hotel) looked and hosted it beautifully ! We will forever have fantastic memories and St Pierre will always be a favourite venue of ours to enjoy returning to for years to come. St Pierre Hotel is one of those places where you can sit down anywhere and you feel emotional and have amazing surroundings. Whether you sit by the lake on your balcony of your room or even playing Golf around this outstanding estate. This is the reason why Me and my Wife fell in love with this venue 12 years ago. One of or if not the best things about the hotel is the staff. There are not enough words to describe how amazing they are and how helpful they were on our wedding day. At first we met Lisa who was extremely helpful in booking the St Pierre Suite for us, however we could not finish the journey with Lisa at planning our wedding due to her maternity leave. Then we were introduced to Sam Watkins and I'll tell you now, whatever Marriott are paying this amazing person, they need to double it! As soon as we met Sam we were relieved of stress and worry because Sam was so helpful and willing to do anything to make our Wedding Day perfect. Sam went above and beyond at helping us and even made appointments with us on her day off which she insisted on. Sam has not seen the last of us because me and my wife will be down a few times a year for afternoon tea. Thank you Sam, you truly are Amazing! As for our Chef, Tony Burrows, this man was can cook wonders and is amazing, especially at our food tasting and made every effort to come and meet with us after the tasting session. I have never met a chef who makes time for you even when he is cooking for 400 people in the building at one point. Our guests were raving about how good the food was. I have recently got married in the hotel and felt the urge to write to you both personally to send my wholehearted thanks to the entire staff at the St Pierre. From the moment we arrived on the Friday morning, we were treated like royalty by everyone from reception to the bar and restaurant staff, gym and spa staff and housekeeping. Overall that was the general response we received back from all our guests over the weekend in regards to their stays also, the hotel is stunning and kept so well, no one walks past without a good morning or hello and even when I was stood in reception on the morning of the wedding at 0530 having issues with a sofa bed, one of the golf guys came and helped me no questions asked. A special mention has to go to the following: Sam - she is unbelievable, she went above and beyond on every occasion throughout the whole planning phase for us and never said no to some of our crazy ideas, she is credit to the hotel and works to an exceptionally high standard. Again we just want to reiterate our sincere thanks to every member of staff that dealt with our Wedding and Friday night event we hosted, you are all outstanding and are a credit to the Marriott brand. Most of our guests are all already planning a reunion for next Christmas for one of the party nights and we hope to see the same faces that we have for the past year in our visits to the hotel. On Saturday we had our wedding day at St Pierre and I cannot say enough good things about this venue. The staff are exceptional, particularly our wedding organiser Sam who went above and beyond to make our wedding day perfect. Our wedding day was completely tailored to just as we wanted it so it was a very personal day, every small detail taken care of. Also Marian was superb, organised and flexible and helped everything run smoothly. Nothing was too much trouble for them. The hotel grounds and building is stunning, the church beautiful and the food delicious. The church, wedding breakfast room, dance floor and rooms are all in the same place so it’s very convenient. We would recommend St Pierre for any event or a spa day to anyone! Thank you Sam, Marian and St Pierre for everything! We are so grateful.

We only started to plan our wedding in February and from the beginning we knew we were in safe hands with Sam! She provided us with a really personal and friendly service giving us confidence that everything we wanted would be carried out. Sam also offered us lots of advice and went above and beyond in helping to secure our guest accommodation at the hotel. All the food served at the Wedding Breakfast was delicious and was as we’d chosen from our earlier taster evening with 'Chef Tony' so our thanks to him as well. Our guests were all delighted with their accommodation and we were also upgraded to the Bridal Suite which was strewn with red rose petals – what a lovely surprise! Unfortunately Sam was unable to be with us on the 30th but we met her colleague Andre earlier that same week and he seamlessly took over all the arrangements to make our day even better than we could have imagined. From start to finish nothing was too much trouble for Andre and indeed all the staff were amazing. Andre even gave us a chauffeur-driven ride back to our room at the end of the evening in a 6-seater golf buggy – what a dear! So a huge THANK YOU from us both – you all did a great job!

My husband and I cannot thank Sam enough for all her help and support in the lead up to our wedding on 25th May. On the wedding day itself, Sam went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. Along with Marian and his team, the day couldn’t have gone any smoother. For anyone thinking of booking their future weddings at St.Pierre, if your experience is anything like ours was then you will certainly not be disappointed. The grounds are beautiful and the hotel is very peaceful! All staff are welcoming and happy to help where they can. All of our guests have been complimenting us continuously on the level of organisation which went into making the day and evening what it was, unfortunately we cannot take the credit for that as it was all down to Sam! Sam is a credit to the St.Pierre team and she was such a pleasure to work with. When we first booked our wedding, We had 3 different wedding planners who were covering maternity leave. During this time, the organisation wasn’t at its best and there was a bit of confusion due to the cross over of planners. This of corse was before Sam took up the role. Sam took charge as soon and she had spoken with us, she responded to emails and calls so promptly, and was always willing to meet up to talk through any worries or plans. For any future brides/grooms, if you want to have an enjoyable experience like we did, ask for Sam to be your planner, you certainly will not be disappointed. We loved every part of our wedding day and are so grateful to Sam, Marian, Andre and their team for making it a truly unforgettable day. xxx

We would like to thank all the staff at St Pierre who made our wedding day so perfect for us. Our wedding planner, Sam Watkins, was amazing from the day we booked the venue until our wedding day. Her attention to detail was brilliant and passed on her vast experience of running such events to us. All meetings, phone calls and emails leading up to the day were professional and friendly, remembering details of our requests in amongst organising many other people's days. We met our MC, Andrei, and chef, Gareth, before the day which was very helpful and reassuring. Many friends and family stayed at the hotel for several nights; all thoroughly enjoyed their stay and were complimentary of the staff at reception, breakfast, the bars and in the leisure areas. On our wedding day Sam, Andrei and the events team made everything run smoothly for 120 guests, but also made Shaun and I feel very special. We were looked after and guided every step of the way. Where do I start... We would like to thank Sam Watkins our wedding planner at St. Pierre for helping and supporting us every step of the way with our wedding. Sam went over and above to make sure that our day was special and even put in a good word with the weatherman to make sure that we had good weather on our day. We are so glad we chose St Pierre for our wedding venue, it was amazing. Planning the perfect day is stressful, but the one part which did not concern us was the reception at St Pierre. After our first meeting with the Wedding Coordinator we felt confident that we were in safe hands. Once we had met the Chef and the Event Manager we knew that we were being looked after by consummate professionals and we were able to relax completely. Once our suggested menu had been agreed by the Head Chef we met with the Chef who would be preparing for our day. We tasted the menu and made suggestions, also tasting the wines which we wanted. A later meeting with the Chef allowed us to discuss guests with special dietary requirements and how the menu could be adapted. We had been concerned about food allergies and how the menu for some guests could be altered - but our experienced Chef was able to suggest suitable changes without a moment's hesitation. On the day itself, those guests had a great meal which we were sure was suitably adapted to ensure that they could eat and enjoy everything which was put for them. This was a really valuable session for us and it was excellent to meet the person who would be delivering our requirements on the day. Our meeting with the Event Manager dealt with details of the day which we had not considered beforehand and made us think about how exactly we wanted things to run. Again we benefited from an experienced manager. This meant that, on the day, everything ran really smoothly. We had asked for no presents - presents arrived on the day - but the experienced team took it all in their stride and dealt with whatever happened, which was great for us! The staff were pleasant, efficient and did everything swiftly and quietly. Our guests have commented since on the quality of the food, the excellent service and the look of the St Pierre Suite - even on the craft beers available in the bar at our request. There is no doubt that this is a fantastic venue and we recommend St Pierre and its staff most highly.

The whole package was amazing. Sam the wedding coordinator and her team of staff made everything stress free. Everyone said how lovely the food was, and it really was lovely. The service was faultless. I would recommend this venue to anyone. We stayed at the hotel the night before, and quite a few guest stayed on the night of the wedding. The rooms were lovely. It was raining on the morning of the wedding. Cars and umbrellas were sent down for us as we stayed in the beautiful lakeside lodges. Words can’t describe how excellent this place is.

We visited St Pierre in April 2018 to look at it as a potential location for a 2019 wedding. We fell in love with the gorgeous Manor House. While there, we had a list of late availability dates given to us for this year. These packages offered such amazing value. We chose our date... a grand total of 4 months to plan our big day. We had an appointment with Abbie to discuss what we needed to do next. It has to be said that there was very little contact from Abbie (wedding planner) and when we asked questions her response often seemed to be “I’ll have to find out and get back to you” id then find myself chasing answers! A month later I had an email from Sam, explaining that Abbie had left and that she was her replacement. We met with Sam who went through every detail with us, explained anything we were unsure about, arranged our food tasting etc. At this point, all our queries were answered and everything started to fall into place! Finally. At the food tasting we chose our preferred options from the menu and chatted to the chef about changes etc, nothing was too much trouble! Sam was a huge support and was committed and knowledgeable. On the day, everything went perfectly! The room looked beautiful, it was well organised and the food was phenomenal, as was the service. The venue is stunning for photos too. We had the St Pierre Disco in the evening which was brilliant! Every song we requested was played! The evening food was also lovely and the wine/champagne provided at the wedding breakfast were good quality. Many people since have said how amazing the day was! There was literally, not one single thing that anyone could complain about! Amazing venue/Delicious food/fantastic service. Even the kids were happy and well catered for! I would highly recommend St Pierre to anyone considering getting married! Sam made our planning stress free with her support and advice and I genuinely believe that her taking over when she did was a blessing for us which made our day perfect!
