We would like to thank all the staff at the Marriott for making our big day so special. Everything ran smoothly there was no stress, food was amazing, had really good feedback from family and friends throughout the day. We can't thank the hotel staff enough for all their hard work and dedication in helping to provide a perfect wedding. The location was perfect, the Mary Rose suite was transformed and everybody was friendly, helpful and really hard working. The package offered was ideal and we were able to tweak things to suit us which was great and the bridal suite offered as part of the package was large, modern and a perfect retreat at the end of an exhausting day. The garden offered space to sit, plenty of room for photographs and thankfully it was a beautiful sunny day so we had games on the lawn to entertain the children (and some adults too!) Special thanks to Rebecca Attwood for taking the time to talk through all aspects from start to finish and offering ideas we had not thought of. She made us feel special at every stage, her attention to detail and calm manner really helped and she kept us updated regularly, she is an asset to your hotel. Special thanks also have to go to Julie Seaton who co-ordinated the day perfectly. Julie has a wealth of knowledge and her expertise was faultless, she explained stage by stage what would happen and she was on hand whenever we needed her. Julie is very good at being there when required to prompt and organise but also discreet at the same time - a tough task she has mastered well! Julie is also an asset to your hotel. Without a doubt, I will be highly recommending your hotel to all my single friends. In fact, I would recommend it for any event as I've heard good feedback from some recent proms which have taken place there. Keep up the good work and thanks again for making our wedding day so memorable.

We booked our wedding 3 years in advance. So our wedding planner changed there was a few problems but we did get through these. Everything is left to the last minute which i found difficult working full time aswell and im very organised and given meeting times with very short notice. However saying that the marriotts team was amazing to make your day perfect and it was. Very special and all our guests had a lovely day we received alot of good feedback on the food and service. Any problems or questions you had throughout the day the staff was there to help very quickly. I would highly recommend marriotts. We had our ceremony there aswell and it was lovely. Rebecca Attwood is an amazing wedding planner our day was fantastic the staff were friendly and the room was amazing wood definitely recommend Portsmouth Marrriott Hotel and Rebecca is a very professional and friendly and when we both had a question Rebecca would reply quickly to emails Rebecca was spot on and a big thank you to all the staff at the Marriott hotel Portsmouth for making our Wedding day so special and amazing thank you Ben and Hollie

What can we say.....an absolutely perfect day!!! From booking the date back in 2016 until the actual day and beyond we knew that our wedding day would be amazing. The package we chose included lots of different companies providing numerous different services which made the planning so much easier as they all come recommended. Although we were a little worried about everything tying in, we have been nothing but happy with the service received from them all. Our theme of Mexican Day of the Dead was a little out of the ordinary however the Marriott, Becky and all the service providers embraced it and helped make the décor and day perfect. Even down to accommodating the little touches like providing the Groom with scampi as part of the wedding breakfast to keep him happy. Myself and the bridesmaids all stayed the night before the wedding too and all staff were extremely accommodating and gave service which was second to none. Its the little touches like a bottle of champagne in the room for us and a gorgeous fruit platter that helped make our wedding weekend everything we imagined and more. And the wedding breakfast food was fabulous. On the actual day having Julie organising everything meant none of us had to worry about anything. The sign of a good organiser is when you don't even realise they are around and about. This is exactly the perfect service Julie and her team provided. Invisible unless we needed them! We have had numerous compliments about The Marriott as a wedding venue and would recommended Becky, Julie and The Marriott, Portsmouth to anyone thinking of getting married. In fact there was a wedding fayre the day after our wedding and got speaking to a couple of the guests visiting. Straight away there was no hesitation in recommending the venue and services. We cannot thank you all enough for the most amazing wedding weekend for us and our guests!! xx
