We had the most wonderful experience having our wedding at the Ballyliffin Lodge. From start to finish, the staff were absolutely fantastic and made us feel so welcome and looked after. Our guests commented on how lovely everything was, especially the food. Danielle was brilliant to deal with in the lead-up to the wedding and made organising everything so easy and stress-free. On the day itself, Ciaran was fantastic and made sure everything ran smoothly. We couldn’t have asked for a better venue to celebrate our special day. Our experience with the Ballyliffen Lodge from day 1 planning our wedding has been outstanding. Danielle is amazing at what she does and from the beginning the professionalism shown was something else. Every single detail was taken care of before we could even think of it, Danielle is warm, friendly and genuinely cares about her couples and how they feel about every aspect of their day. We had our ceremony in the lodge and it was more than we could ever dream of. The food, drinks and service on the day truly exceeded our expectations and we were in awe of how friendly and caring all the staff were. We stayed from the evening before our wedding for 3 nights and the service the whole weekend was 5 star. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for making our special day so amazing. All our guests were so happy with everything and having travelled from Conemara, Australia, America and England said they will never forget their time at the hidden gem in Donegal that is the beautiful Ballyliffen Lodge & Spa. Hi Danielle, Ahh thank you so much! Our wedding was everything we wanted and more. I just wanted to say that everything was just perfect. From start to finish we had an absolute blast. The wedding staff were amazing and attentive and I had loads of people tell me how brilliant they were. Your taco sauce was such a personal touch, it proper made me laugh, and I can’t wait to bring it back with me to England!! I have been saying it for nearly 3 years but you were the main reason we booked with the Lodge, your attention to detail and organisation skills are second to none, exactly what I wanted for our wedding co ordinator. Nothing was too much hassle. Kieran as well was just so lovely, he was kind and attentive and nothing was an issue, whatever we wanted he had it done. Also thank you for breaking that down for us, I knew it wouldn’t be an issue but wanted to understand them being broken down. Hi Danielle, I honestly don't think I have enough ways to describe how amazing it was having our wedding at Ballyliffin Lodge. From the first email right through you and all the staff have just been amazing to deal with. We loved working with you throughout the whole planning process, your support on everything from the big details right through to the small things was just wonderful and there were plenty of things I wouldn't have gotten through or understood without your help. It truly shows how much knowledge you have and how professional you are in your role and we could not be more grateful. On the day itself all the staff were amazing, waiters & waitresses, bar staff and night porters were fantastic and we cannot compliment the cooking staff enough as our meal was beautiful and is something we still talk about. We also want to say a massive thanks to Ciaran for getting us through the day, no matter what was needed he was there to help. Where do we start. We really had the most amzing day. Ballyliffin hosted our friends and family for not only the wedding but the whole weekend. Everyone had the best time. The setting, the staff , the food and the service were outstanding. The whole day ran perfectly, we can't thank the whole team enough. We cannot thank the Ballyliffin Lodge and Spa enough for making our wedding day as close to a perfect day that you could get. We stayed down in the Ballyliffin for 4 nights and it was faultless from the night before the wedding until we left. Danielle was so easy to work with and took the stress off us from when we first booked with the Ballyliffin to the final day celebrating. All the staff including reception were so lovely, they could not do enough for us, nothing was a problem. Ciaran was lovely and he really went above and beyond on our wedding day. We got married at the Lodge in November just past and what can we say other than outstanding. There is a reason why Ballyliffin Lodge & Spa have won Wedding Venue of the year so many times. Danielle couldn't have been any more accommodating if she tried, nothing was a problem. If I had any questions at all Danielle was quick to help me, she is a real treasure to the Lodge! Ciaran took care of us on the day of our wedding, what an absolute gentleman!! Anything we asked for he was on it, everything was down to a T. All the staff that helped us have an amazing day are truly amazing, and the food was absolutely beautiful. We are so glad we chose Ballyliffin Lodge & Spa for our wedding venue. They went above and beyond. Thank you to all the staff, especially Danielle for all the organising she had done for us over the months leading up to our wedding, she made it magical.

We recently celebrated our wedding at Ballyliffin Lodge & Spa Hotel, with our ceremony in the beautiful Gate Lodge and our reception in the hotel, and we honestly couldn’t have asked for a more perfect day. Everything from the transportation in the Rolls Royce and Range Rover, to the ceremony and then the reception, ran flawlessly. The staff were incredibly attentive, friendly, and genuinely helpful throughout. Danielle was amazing in the months running up to the wedding with all the planning and Ciaran and team were fantastic on the day. They made us and our guests feel so well looked after. We heard nothing but glowing comments from everyone about how gorgeous the venue was and how much they enjoyed both the day and the evening. And the food was absolutely fantastic! The beef in particular was a huge hit, with guests still talking about it afterwards. We’re so grateful to the entire team for making our wedding day unforgettable. We highly recommend this venue to any couple looking for a stunning location and exceptional service." We also want to mention a server that was with us at the top table, now we think her name was Alisha but not 100% sure. We recently got married at the Ballyliffen Lodge and had such a fantastic experience. A very special thank you to our wedding coordinator, Danielle McLaughlin. Danielle went above and beyond from start to finish. She was always quick to respond, eager to help and would accommodate our requests in any way she possibly could. As a very Type A organised bride, I always knew I could rely on her, and if I left something with her, I knew I never needed to double back on anything as she would have it taken care of. This made the whole lead-up to the wedding so much less stressful, and it was amazing to be able to trust someone so completely in the process. Every tiny detail was taken care of by Danielle, and not a single thing was missed on our wedding day! Danielle is exceptional at her job, and I felt very lucky to have had her with me on the journey. I truly couldn't thank or recommend her enough! As for the hotel, our guests only had great things to say. The food was spoken so highly of not only at the wedding but in the days surrounding the wedding, and they also did a fantastic job helping us host our day 2. Danielle and the team at Ballyliffin Lodge & Spa did an outstanding job. The service, the food, the management and the craic. All our guests have had nothing but nice things to say about this venue and the people who work here. From day one, Danielle was amazing. We had a number of guests who had allergies and were coeliac, some were coeliac and dairy-free. Ballyliffin lodge & spa were able to tend to this, and everyone had an amazing meal and time. Special mention to Ciaran, too, as he was our host for the night, and he was brilliant! If I could give more stars, I definitely would.

It's hard to believe it's been a month already since the wedding! We are still getting photos and videos from folk and are still reminiscing .. We cannot thank you all enough for the advice, attention to detail and friendliness you showed us and our guests during the build-up and especially on the weekend.
