We had our wedding last weekend and invited friends and family from all over Ireland. Most guests had a journey of over 4 hours & everyone had such high praise for the location, the room, the friendly service & in particular the food. Every guest had a hot & delicious dinner speedily served to them. Many guests took second helpings despite the large portions because of how tasty the food was. The Lodge was the perfect spot to showcase my homeland. We had a large wedding so Ballyliffin suited us well as it had two other hotels nearby, as well as three beautiful beaches within 10mins for guests. The Lodge does countless weddings every year so they are well versed in what they do. Any hotel is as good as the sum of its parts and it’s clear that all of the staff are not only well trained but happy there. Every member of staff was efficient, friendly, and helpful; the hotel itself is beautiful and clean and the backdrop of the beach view is simply breathtaking. Danielle who organized the wedding planning aspects couldn’t have been more supportive. She gave us so much of her time & nothing was ever a problem. We did a lot of our extra touches which she was welcoming and encouraging of. Her cheerful positive nature makes her perfect for the role she’s in. Despite knowing Madeline’s golden reputation locally for Wedding Day Coordination, I was still surprised at how excellent her attention to detail was. She was kind, subtle & professional for every moment of our day. She did countless small things we appreciated on the day, including giving us really helpful & insightful advice on walking together as well as putting the men’s jackets on them before speeches. Things we would have never considered but made our photos/video look 10 times better. The day ran seamlessly & it meant our band could play for longer. We had an unimaginably special day. I’d highly recommend the Lodge to any future brides and grooms. It was the easiest and best decision we made!

We got married in the Ballyliffin Lodge and Spa on 16th March 2024. We originally booked the venue in August of 2021 shortly after getting engaged and the hall it was held in has gotten an upgrade since then. We had an amazing experience with the staff of the Ballyliffin. Danielle, our wedding coordinator was fantastic from start to finish and helped us to organize everything for our special day, even when we had to make numerous changes to our menu, etc. We can't thank her enough for all she did for us. Marcin was an absolute star as well, he kept us informed of room availability throughout, and for any changes we had to make he got them confirmed for us very quickly and effectively. On the day Madeline kept everything running smoothly and like clockwork, from the call to dinner, the speeches, and everything else she was there to help us. Overall, after having had our special day at the Ballyliffin Lodge we can't imagine having had it anywhere else. If you're looking for a place for yourselves then look no further.

We had our wedding in Ballyliffin Lodge & Spa in April 2023. We had delayed the wedding a few times due to Covid and the entire team was amazing at accommodating our changes and working with us so that we could have the day of our dreams. Madeline & Danielle were an absolute dream to work with in the lead up to our day. No task was too much and they went above and beyond to make our dreams a reality. On the day of the wedding our guests were treated to a masterclass in top class service by all the hotel team Throughout our day the entire team and especially Madeline showcased why Ballyliffin Lodge & Spa is an amazing place to host your big day. From our first viewing to our wedding day, we couldn't have chosen a better venue. The staff were incredible, the food is the best you'll get in Inishowen. The coordinators are incredible, really helpful every step of the way. We got married on site in the little cottage and it was such a lovely venue. Our friends and family could not get over the space inside it. We used the venues Rolls Royce for our photos and the driver was a gent, it was really a show stopper for our photos. Cannot recommend the venue enough. Our guests loved catching up by the pool the next morning and having such wonderful views from the bar. Thanks to Madeleine and the crew for all their help making our day wonderful.

Our wedding day, I don't know where to start. Firstly we were a COVID-19-affected couple and at every stage of our worry, the Ballyliffin were so swift at responding. The Banqueting Team are unbelievable at what they do. Madeleine and her team were so professional and nothing was too much trouble. The food I don't even know where to begin here.....I had friends calling me months after our wedding asking, did I get that recipe for 'THAT SOUP', for reference we had the tomato soup. Everyone said the food was better than they had experienced at most 5-star hotels. The hotel itself is at such an amazing location. I fell in love with the Ballyliffin Lodge years previously whilst attending another wedding, in my early 20's and I always said I'd get married there. Madeline, Danielle and the rest of the team! We got married in August in the Ballyliffin Lodge and Spa. The day was amazing from start to finish! We honestly can’t really put into words how good it was! The wedding team were so accommodating as we had our own entertainment and host :). The bar/restaurant team for the buffet on day 2! Absolutely brilliant from start to finish. We can’t thank Danielle and Madeline enough. We planned the wedding from Nottingham England and found the hole process super easy and stress free. If you are thinking about Ballyliffin Lodge for your wedding, know that you will not be disappointed. From start to finish, the wedding team were amazing to deal with, especially Ron, Danielle and Madeleine. The venue itself is just fabulous and already styled so beautifully that honestly, you don't need much in the way of wedding decor to complete the look. Along with the wonderful service you have the reassurance that if anything were to come up on the day, Madeleine and her team would have it covered. Madeleine is exceptional and will guide you through the day seamlessly so that you won't need to worry or think about a thing. Danielle is just amazing. She is so thorough in all the pre-planning, is really easy to work with and makes sure every detail is taken care of and no stone unturned, all while being super lovely and having the patience of a saint! Hailing from the other end of the county, most of our guests had never been to the Lodge before and they were so impressed. We heard nothing but the highest praise from everyone as they raved about the top quality food, the amazing service and the friendliness of the staff. It was also really competitively priced and without a doubt most the most value for money when we compared to other venues, all while offering top class service. I am so delighted that we chose the Lodge for our special day.

We had the most fantastic wedding day at the Ballyliffin hotel and both Danielle and Madeleine were fantastic throughout. Nothing was too much of an ask and they both made us feel at ease throughout all of our planning and kept us right the whole way through. Everyone had an absolute ball and we couldn't recommend the hotel and the wedding team highly enough. Madeline even helped me get one of the guests make up off my wedding suit!! From the moment we signed the contract to our wedding date, we just knew we were in good hands! The continuity we had with Danielle felt like we had an actual wedding planner, no question or request was left unanswered, Danielle linked in with us regularly, making the planning process effortless. The main function room also had an upgrade -and it perfectly sums up the timeless elegance the hotel and its surroundings exude. On the day of our wedding, Madeline had her team working together like clockwork in the background, ensuring our guests were very well looked after from the elderly down to the many young children present. Madeleine’s experience in hospitality was evident as she smiled and made the whole day stress-free and relaxing for ourselves and our bridal party. The Ballyliffin Lodge really has everything under one roof to cater for your magical day!

5 star just simply enough for this team. The venue itself has a beautiful view to the sea and surrounding areas, food was amazing and service on the day was faultless! But the best thing about this venue was the staff. Danielle, from day 1 was there any time we had silly questions to ask or double check any details, nothing was too much for this lovely lady. The professionalism of Madeline and her team on the on the day was outstanding, most my guests had made comments how great the staff and service was. From the very first enquiry to our most special day, this hotel was an absolute dream to work with. Danielle you were a pleasure to work with, you went out of your way to make our dream day so amazing. Madaline, on the day, you were amazing, you made Aidan and myself so relaxed and made everything run so smoothly. All guests had the best day and so many compliments on how beautiful the food was. How do I begin to explain how amazing our experience was from start to finish. From our first meeting, we knew we had chose the perfect venue for our big day. Danielle was amazing with helping us and she had the patience of a saint. She helped us with every last detail of our day, she was soo happy to help me with everything and it didn’t matter the time or day if I had a question she was straight on to reply to me. She went above and beyond for us, then roll on to our big day, we got the use of the stunning white Range Rover that first collected myself and my father and then took myself and my husband to our photo destination then on to the venue where we met Madeline on arrival. To say she was one of a kind is an understatement, from the minute we landed she was waiting for us helping with my dress and explaining exactly what we needed to do and where to go. She was on the ball, not once did we have to wonder what we had to do, with our bridal party she made sure we all knew where we needed to be and what we needed to do. On to dinner, the food was to die for and all piping hot on arrival to the tables. All our guests raved about it and just to add a few points, the top tables mains get served all at one with silver service that I can only call orchestrated to a T with Madeline on the floor. All our guests were treated like they were royals, the bar staff were amazing along with every member of staff, they were all so professional and soo friendly and helpful. I would highly recommend Ballyliffin Lodge and Spa to any couple getting married they are above all our expectations and we couldn’t have been happier with the whole venue and staff .x
