Our wedding day at Ballyliffin Lodge & Spa Hotel last month was the most perfect day and one we will forever treasure. The standard of service we received before, during and after the event was phenomenal. Danielle the events coordinator made the whole process run seamlessly, from start to finish. She took all the stress away from planning overseas from Australia, making sure to follow up on any questions and queries we had, which put our minds at ease. Danielle's attention to detail was exceptional and nothing was ever too much hassle. She is one of the kindest and most thoughtful event coordinators I’ve ever had contact with. She went above and beyond to make sure our day was perfect. With follow-up phone calls on every query and always keeping the hotel staff in the loop, she made communication easy, especially with the time difference. All the local companies we used for various services, such as flowers and the cake, the hotel coordinated beautifully on their arrival to the venue at the allocated times. The memories made will last a lifetime and we have the hotel to thank for creating such a beautiful wedding space, amazing atmosphere and outstanding staff, who are polite, cheerful and extremely helpful. We have had so many family members phone us to thank us for a beautiful day and just how much they enjoyed the venue and staff at the Lodge, with comments such as: "...some of the nicest hotel staff they have met in Donegal" "The grounds are just glorious, you couldn’t ask for a better view." "How lucky are we to have a view like that on our doorstep." From start to finish with planning, the booking process and all the fine details, the hotel was fantastic. Madeleine and the team sorted all our accommodation needs for guests. With the stunning gardens and amazing ocean views, The Ballyliffin Lodge and Spa Hotel has to be one of the most perfect Wedding Venues a couple could ask for.

We had the most wonderful wedding weekend! From our first meeting with Danielle, we knew our plans were in safe hands. Danielle and Madeline are not only exceptional at their jobs but also beautiful ladies who are so easy to deal with, extremely efficient, and kind. Our guests warmly welcomed us at the cottage ceremony venue and then at the hotel. Everyone commented on the fabulous food, attentive staff and beautiful location. The reception staff, Claire, Raymond, and Marchin, and the lovely Margaret and Anthony who looked after our day 2 celebrations in Jack's bar, were a pleasure to deal with. We recently had our wedding reception at Ballyliffin Lodge on 11.7.24. From the planning at the very beginning, Danielle was very attentive and was a pleasure to deal with. We are not local to Donegal, so we emailed our questions and requests back and forth, which Danielle dealt with promptly. As for the day itself, what a day it was! We used our own centrepieces, and the staff set these out for us, which was a big help. The Rolls Royce met us at the beach to take photographs, which was lovely. Fantastic service from arrival to departure. Madeleine ensured everything ran smoothly and kept us updated on what was happening. The food was delicious, and the setup was amazing. We could not fault the Ballyliffin Lodge and would recommend this venue for our couples getting married. Our guests all complimented the food and venue. 10/10!

We couldn’t have chosen a better venue to celebrate our wedding all the way from Scotland. From the beginning to the end, the Ballyliffin Lodge and Spa team was incredible. In particular, Danielle, Madeleine and the General manager, Ron. You provided top-class service in every department and made us proud. Our guests from Scotland, Ireland, Australia, Japan, the US and Italy were beyond complimentary of the venue, the service and the food. The Ballyliffin Lodge and Spa really is something special. We had a fantastic wedding at Ballyliffin Lodge and Spa. The wedding coordinator, Danielle, was excellent. She is so organised, efficient and a lovely person to work with. She was helpful throughout the process; any questions we had were answered, and any emails sent were replied to quickly. She is excellent at her job and was brilliant to work with. On the wedding day Madeline was coordinating and again a great person to work with. She was so professional and experienced and went above and beyond to ensure the day ran smoothly. The food and service were top-class. So many guests commented on the hotel's food and service. I would highly recommend the hotel to anyone getting married; it is a pleasure to work with.

We booked our wedding with the Ballyliffin Lodge and Spa because it has the most stunning location and because the area is a place where we would have had dates in our relationship, upon arrival we were met with Danielle, who would be our wedding planner, Danielle was very informative and helpful and made us feel so comfortable, she helped in so many ways from the constant changes that had to be made and nothing was ever to much trouble for her, she was absolutely brilliant with everything and all enquiries and always greeted us with a smile, she helped us to have the most perfect day we had imagined we wanted to have. On the wedding day, we had Madeline, the wedding coordinator. She helped to keep the wedding day running as smoothly as possible, from the reception to dinner to cutting the cake and everything in between. She catered to us and our daughters so well on the day, and it was a blessing to have her there, keeping everything organized. She is truly amazing at what she does, and the day ran beautifully. I also want to add in the duty manager Jason porter who was working that night, he helped us with any requests we had and nothing was a bother for him. The staff at Ballyliffin Lodge really do go above and beyond for you and really know how to make you feel so special on your special day. We are so happy we chose the Ballyliffin Lodge as our wedding venue because it was just absolutely perfect.

We got married in April 2024 and had a first-class experience with the Ballyliffin Lodge & Spa. Madeleine and Danielle are a great pair to work with, and they could not do more for us. In the lead-up to the wedding, Danielle was very helpful in checking that we had everything we needed, and Madeleine kept everything running smoothly on the day. We had nothing to worry about, and we could just enjoy the day. Our guests from near and far also praised the hotel staff, food, and service they received. We had our wedding last weekend and invited friends and family from all over Ireland. Most guests had a journey of over 4 hours & everyone had such high praise for the location, the room, the friendly service & in particular the food. Every guest had a hot & delicious dinner speedily served to them. Many guests took second helpings despite the large portions because of how tasty the food was. The Lodge was the perfect spot to showcase my homeland. We had a large wedding so Ballyliffin suited us well as it had two other hotels nearby, as well as three beautiful beaches within 10mins for guests. The Lodge does countless weddings every year so they are well versed in what they do. Any hotel is as good as the sum of its parts and it’s clear that all of the staff are not only well trained but happy there. Every member of staff was efficient, friendly, and helpful; the hotel itself is beautiful and clean and the backdrop of the beach view is simply breathtaking. Danielle who organized the wedding planning aspects couldn’t have been more supportive. She gave us so much of her time & nothing was ever a problem. We did a lot of our extra touches which she was welcoming and encouraging of. Her cheerful positive nature makes her perfect for the role she’s in. Despite knowing Madeline’s golden reputation locally for Wedding Day Coordination, I was still surprised at how excellent her attention to detail was. She was kind, subtle & professional for every moment of our day. She did countless small things we appreciated on the day, including giving us really helpful & insightful advice on walking together as well as putting the men’s jackets on them before speeches. Things we would have never considered but made our photos/video look 10 times better. The day ran seamlessly & it meant our band could play for longer. We had an unimaginably special day. I’d highly recommend the Lodge to any future brides and grooms. It was the easiest and best decision we made!

We got married in the Ballyliffin Lodge and Spa on 16th March 2024. We originally booked the venue in August of 2021 shortly after getting engaged and the hall it was held in has gotten an upgrade since then. We had an amazing experience with the staff of the Ballyliffin. Danielle, our wedding coordinator was fantastic from start to finish and helped us to organize everything for our special day, even when we had to make numerous changes to our menu, etc. We can't thank her enough for all she did for us. Marcin was an absolute star as well, he kept us informed of room availability throughout, and for any changes we had to make he got them confirmed for us very quickly and effectively. On the day Madeline kept everything running smoothly and like clockwork, from the call to dinner, the speeches, and everything else she was there to help us. Overall, after having had our special day at the Ballyliffin Lodge we can't imagine having had it anywhere else. If you're looking for a place for yourselves then look no further.

We had our wedding in Ballyliffin Lodge & Spa in April 2023. We had delayed the wedding a few times due to Covid and the entire team was amazing at accommodating our changes and working with us so that we could have the day of our dreams. Madeline & Danielle were an absolute dream to work with in the lead up to our day. No task was too much and they went above and beyond to make our dreams a reality. On the day of the wedding our guests were treated to a masterclass in top class service by all the hotel team Throughout our day the entire team and especially Madeline showcased why Ballyliffin Lodge & Spa is an amazing place to host your big day. From our first viewing to our wedding day, we couldn't have chosen a better venue. The staff were incredible, the food is the best you'll get in Inishowen. The coordinators are incredible, really helpful every step of the way. We got married on site in the little cottage and it was such a lovely venue. Our friends and family could not get over the space inside it. We used the venues Rolls Royce for our photos and the driver was a gent, it was really a show stopper for our photos. Cannot recommend the venue enough. Our guests loved catching up by the pool the next morning and having such wonderful views from the bar. Thanks to Madeleine and the crew for all their help making our day wonderful.

Our wedding day, I don't know where to start. Firstly we were a COVID-19-affected couple and at every stage of our worry, the Ballyliffin were so swift at responding. The Banqueting Team are unbelievable at what they do. Madeleine and her team were so professional and nothing was too much trouble. The food I don't even know where to begin here.....I had friends calling me months after our wedding asking, did I get that recipe for 'THAT SOUP', for reference we had the tomato soup. Everyone said the food was better than they had experienced at most 5-star hotels. The hotel itself is at such an amazing location. I fell in love with the Ballyliffin Lodge years previously whilst attending another wedding, in my early 20's and I always said I'd get married there.
