We recently celebrated our wedding at Ballyliffin Lodge & Spa Hotel, with our ceremony in the beautiful Gate Lodge and our reception in the hotel, and we honestly couldn’t have asked for a more perfect day. Everything from the transportation in the Rolls Royce and Range Rover, to the ceremony and then the reception, ran flawlessly. The staff were incredibly attentive, friendly, and genuinely helpful throughout. Danielle was amazing in the months running up to the wedding with all the planning and Ciaran and team were fantastic on the day. They made us and our guests feel so well looked after. We heard nothing but glowing comments from everyone about how gorgeous the venue was and how much they enjoyed both the day and the evening. And the food was absolutely fantastic! The beef in particular was a huge hit, with guests still talking about it afterwards. We’re so grateful to the entire team for making our wedding day unforgettable. We highly recommend this venue to any couple looking for a stunning location and exceptional service." We also want to mention a server that was with us at the top table, now we think her name was Alisha but not 100% sure. We just wanted to say how attentive, she particularly was, and she looked after us all very well and kept the craic going as well as Ciaran and rest of the team. Definitely top class service. We recently got married at the Ballyliffen Lodge and had such a fantastic experience. A very special thank you to our wedding coordinator, Danielle McLaughlin. Danielle went above and beyond from start to finish. She was always quick to respond, eager to help and would accommodate our requests in any way she possibly could. As a very Type A organised bride, I always knew I could rely on her, and if I left something with her, I knew I never needed to double back on anything as she would have it taken care of. This made the whole lead-up to the wedding so much less stressful, and it was amazing to be able to trust someone so completely in the process. Every tiny detail was taken care of by Danielle, and not a single thing was missed on our wedding day! Danielle is exceptional at her job, and I felt very lucky to have had her with me on the journey. I truly couldn't thank or recommend her enough! As for the hotel, our guests only had great things to say. The food was spoken so highly of not only at the wedding but in the days surrounding the wedding, and they also did a fantastic job helping us host our day 2. Margaret helped us with the day 2 organisation, and she did a smashing job taking care of all the details. Thank you for making our wedding weekend absolutely magic, Ballyliffin Lodge and Spa!

Danielle and the team at Ballyliffin Lodge & Spa did an outstanding job. The service, the food, the management and the craic. All our guests have had nothing but nice things to say about this venue and the people who work here. From day one, Danielle was amazing. We had a number of guests who had allergies and were coeliac, some were coeliac and dairy-free. Ballyliffin lodge & spa were able to tend to this, and everyone had an amazing meal and time. Special mention to Ciaran, too, as he was our host for the night, and he was brilliant! If I could give more stars, I definitely would.

We had a perfect day; everything went smoothly, and the whole day went off without a hitch, which I imagine takes a lot of effort behind the scenes, and Adam and I appreciate the efforts of Danielle, Ciaran, and all of the staff at Ballyliffin! It's hard to believe it's been a month already since the wedding! We are still getting photos and videos from folk and are still reminiscing .. We cannot thank you all enough for the advice, attention to detail and friendliness you showed us and our guests during the build-up and especially on the weekend. My husband and I had our wedding in April this year, we spent three nights in the hotel. My husband is from Galway, so we had a lot of family spending the full weekend with us. We had the best day/weekend, more than what we ever could have dreamt about. We had compliments from guests describing it as one of the best weddings they have ever been to. We had our wedding at the Ballyliffin Lodge last week. Danielle was an absolute dream to work with! We celebrated our Christmas wedding on the 20th of December 2024 in the beautiful Ballyliffin Lodge & Spa in Donegal and what a day we had! Our special day was everything we dreamed of! Danielle and Madeline are a credit to the hotel. Danielle helped me every single step of the way and ensured everything was organised, numbers were correct and all ran smoothly on the lead up. On the day of our wedding, Madeline ran everything like clockwork. No request was too much. She remember everything I had planned, including all the small details such as remembering to light our memorial candle, timings of speeches, things that needed moved or changed. Danielle was very accommodating when I wanted to bring outside vendors in to decorate, as well as bringing a lot of my own stuff for the reception room. It was absolutely stunning! Danielle and Madeline ensured all my ideas came to life and we both could not of been happier. The waiters and waitresses working in our reception room serving us on the day are a credit as well to the hotel. All were so polite, kind and helped with everything we needed. One lovely young lady in particular was helping us at the top table, apologies I cannot remember her name now. She was fantastic! The food and drinks were gorgeous and all our guests complimented the generous portion sizes. Everyone especially loved the Guinness flutes, scones and sandwiches during our drinks reception.
