Dear Karen, On behalf of myself and my wife Josephine I want to express my sincere gratitude and appreciation for all the help, advice and support you provided for my daughter and son-in-law’s wedding reception at the Cavendish Pavilion on Friday 26th August 2016. Bryony spent many happy days visiting the estate whilst she was growing up. She has shared her love of Bolton Abbey with her husband Drew over the last couple of years. It is a very special place for the whole family. We were delighted when Bryony and Drew made the decision to marry in the Priory church and hold their wedding reception at the Cavendish Pavilion. From our first meeting, you made us all feel comfortable, offering advice and support in relation to the use of the pavilion. You have given us so much of your time to discuss arrangements, making the day as lovely as it possibly could have been. The day itself was perfect. You and your staff were outstanding. A number of our guests made comment on how impressed they were with the management and running of the reception. For a number of them, it was their first visit to the estate and to the Cavendish Pavilion. They said would be returning. My brother, who works in events at Harrogate International Conference Centre, said how professional your team were and how smoothly the event ran. Your service and that of your team has provided us with many happy memories of our daughter’s wedding day and we cannot express just how delighted we were to have chosen the pavilion as the location for the reception. Hi Karen We are emailing to thank you for making our wedding day the most memorable and happy day ever. Right from the start you and your staff have been helpful in the planning. Your calm and in-control approach, Karen, really put us both at ease. Your suggestions enabled us to see the big picture and understand what was possible for the weddding reception. On the day you organised the day perfectly. We felt we could relax because we knew you had everything in hand. Your reassuring face was there when needed. The staff were friendly and approachable. The food was amazing and we had such good feedback about the whole meal. In particular, the vegetarians were more than happy with their nut roast. All the food was tasty and plentiful. Right to the end of the day you handled things perfectly. Your staff worked so hard to make sure all our guests were happy.
