I couldn’t have imagined a better place to get married! My husband and I were over the moon about how well organised and seamless our big day ran. Sakshi and the entire team were extremely professional and ensured everything was perfect. Our guests who flew in from Germany and the USA were so impressed with everything from the grounds, reception, food and rooms. We both wish we could rewind and do the day over again! We got married in Castlemartyr in August 2025 and I cannot compliment the staff enough. From the original consultation to the actual wedding day, everyone we met was so kind and helpful. We worked with our wedding coordinator, Sakshi, who was absolutely amazing. She handled everything for us and made our day completely stress-free and seamless. Jackie and Kay were amazing for making our wedding day unbelievably perfect. It was absolutely flawless and we could not have wanted anything more. All of the staff were brilliant, friendly, and approachable. All of our guests were amazed, not only by the beauty of the hotel but also by all the staff and their service. From the moment we booked with Castlemartyr, we have been treated with the utmost respect and been accommodated at all times, even after two date changes due to Covid 19. Details were carefully considered and we were contacted any time if there was a query. Jackie has been amazing at getting back to us and ensuring it was such an easy process, especially when we do not live in Ireland. When we arrived ahead of the wedding, we were treated like royalty and that we were so special all throughout our stay. The whole wedding day was flawless and I would not change a thing, and that was a credit to all of the staff at Castlemartyr. Even the days after when we were at the hotel, with other weddings happening, we were still treated like we were the most important people, which made our time there even better. Every guest commented on how amazing the food was too, a lot even said it was the best wedding food they had ever had! Castlemartyr will always hold a very special place in our hearts, and we are already planning our next time there.

My husband, our family, friends, and I can’t thank Castlemartyr Resort enough for the amazing wedding we had there. Everything was just spectacular from planning all the details with Jackie and other staff members to the incredible food beautifully presented and served, as well as the lovely service at the front desk. The service at the Knight’s Bar was also wonderful and we enjoyed our time there so much! As a wedding photographer myself, it’s so important to me that my own wedding be a stand out event. Castlemartyr made my dreams come true. I felt so welcome and cared for as a bride and a guest. The rooms we booked were a huge hit among our guests and ourselves. We recently stayed at Castlemartyr Resort. While staying there, we were also very fortunate to have celebrated our wedding ceremony and reception there. Having previously stayed at Castlemartyr several times, the decision to have our wedding in a place we regard as a home away from home was the right choice. We wanted to take this opportunity to express our thanks and appreciation to all the resort staff who helped make our stay and wedding such a wonderful experience for us and for our wedding guests. In particular, we want to say thank you to Sakshi for all her help and advice in planning the ceremony and reception. On the day of the wedding, everything went well and the quality of the service and food etc. was first class. Sakshi worked with our wedding planner to ensure everything went smoothly. We, and all of our guests, including our wedding planner, were so impressed with the setting and service provided by Castlemartyr. We also want to say a big thank you to Anetta who took such good care of us while staying in the Orchard Lodges. She really spoiled us with the level of service and attention to detail. Annetta was warm and friendly from the time we arrived and continued to check in with us the whole time we were there. It’s not often that one comes across a hotel staff member who is so responsive and welcoming. If you have a staff recognition program, we would like to nominate Anetta for being such a great representative for the hotel in providing a service that not only met but exceeded our expectations. We were also impressed that staff we hadn’t dealt with recognised us and congratulated us on our wedding. Everyone we dealt with at Castlemartyr was so welcoming and helpful. From the minute we decided to have our wedding in Castlemartyr, we were treated impeccably well and always with the utmost courtesy and kindness. We had some extra entertainment planned for the day so it was very important that a tight schedule was maintained. Words can't express how grateful we are for everything from the staff at the Castlemartyr. Aoife, Lucy, Richard, Scott, Trevor and all the staff. The constant smiles from yourself Aoife, Scott, Richard and all the staff on the day was a constant reassurance for us. Aoife and Lucy, your support and help leading up to and on the day was a godsend and so considerate each step of the way. Richard was brilliant during our reception dinner along with the entire event staff. He was fantastically accommodating and informative as we tried to ad-lib how to organise the night and speeches etc from our top table. We can't thank him enough. Our wedding day was made even better by choosing the Castlemartyr back in 2020 as the venue for our special day, and 3.5 years later when we were finally able to have our celebration, it was still the best decision.

Castlemartyr is a breathtaking venue and booking it was a no brainer once we had visited it. However, we never knew then how truly incredible it would be on the day. We had the absolute best day and this was in no small part due to the amazing work of all the staff at Castlemartyr. Our guests could not have been more complimentary of the staff and the food and drink. Many of them told us it was the best wedding they had ever been to. It is 5 weeks since our wedding now and we are still pinching ourselves over how incredible it all was. One of our friends only said to us yesterday how the beef was probably the best beef he has ever had. Everyone was impressed with how well fed we all were and they all commented on how beautiful the venue was. We decided not to add too much decor in terms of flowers etc and didn’t know if it would be missed but it really wasn’t. People commented on the beautiful candelabras and the stunning chandeliers. From the first visit, to our menu tasting, to the days leading up to it we could not have asked for more, every member of staff we spoke to was honestly so helpful and willing to do whatever they could to make our wishes come true. Kevin the Head Chef looked after us really well at our tasting and the quality of the food was not reduced when it was done for all our guests. Jackie was also great in responding to any of our questions. Sakshi was just fantastic she paid as much attention to detail as we did so no detail was overlooked. Thank you so much Sakshi, you honestly made our day perfect! Maeve in reservations was just brill, she looked after all our guests and even managed to get an adjoining room for my 101 year old Granny so that she could be there too. Kay ran the day like clock work and ensured we didn’t need to worry about anything. There were so many other staff that we interacted with who I unfortunately don’t know the names of but thank you so much to each and every single one of you. We cannot wait to come back!

10/10 experience and a 5 star rating for a 5 star day. Mark and I had the best day ever thanks to all in Castlemartyr Resort. So too did our guests! Firstly, the hotel’s willingness to assist us in having our wedding ceremony at home was something else. This was just so special for us and with the hotel’s help and resources, it became a reality quite easily. It just shows the extra mile to which the hotel will go. As locals, we felt blessed. The planning of the day took off to a slow start but from the moment Sachi came on board, she had every fine detail confirmed and planned to a tee. She was so friendly, helpful, hospitable and organised. As a result of her professionalism, the wedding was quite seamless and exactly how we envisaged. I know a couple who are working with her at the moment on their wedding and I have made sure to press on them how lucky they are to have Sachi on board. I recall one day calling up to the hotel pre-wedding up to ninety as there was a change in our wedding co-ordinator. I recall chatting with Kay, who reassured me that all was in hand and I had nothing to worry about. I went home and had a sound nights sleep, those small things meant a lot. On the day, everything was perfect from the drinks reception to the delicious food, the welcome reception etc. Again, Kay was always at hand and just made the whole experience so happy, fun and worry free. I would say that there was an obvious shortage of staffing but the staff that were present navigated through that. Nothing went wrong because of it and we still had a great and perfect day. We couldn't have been happier with our choice of venue for our wedding reception. Castlemartyr staff were very attentive, anticipating any queries. Their familiarity and experience ensured that the day flowed smoothly. Dinner was excellent, and fine dining standards were maintained even with 180 guests. From the moment we arrived in Ireland and saw Castlemartyr Resort, we knew it was the venue for us. They absolutely had fantastic service and welcome from Yvonne and the restaurant team during our wedding tasting. The food was of the highest quality, locally sourced and incredible, which the kitchen can produce to cater for our 150 guests. Both the canopy bar for our drinks and the wedding room was beautifully set up, both modern and tasteful. We were lucky enough to have gorgeous sunshine in October. Our guests were so impressed with the grounds. They all enjoyed the golf and spa facilities before our big day, as well as the walks and seeing the beautiful horses. Yvonne and the team managed everything well on the day, and everything went completely smoothly. We didn’t have to think about a thing! The bridal suite was also beautiful, with so much space for all the wedding party beforehand. The in-house hair stylist for my wedding hair made me feel so comfortable and relaxed. We can’t thank you all enough, from the check-in and concierge staff to the staff serving and Yvonne managing throughout - you made our day absolutely perfect!

From the moment we came to Castlemartyr for our first viewing, we were sold by the very warm welcome from Treavor. As we were originally supposed to get in married in 2020 but had to postpone due to covid, we found the staff so accommodating and supportive. Jackie was always at the other end of the phone if we ever needed anything. Our wedding day was everything we dreamed of and more and that was most definitely down to Cormack, Treavor, Jason, Breffni and Jackie. The meal was flawless and the waiting staff on the night were so attentive and nothing was an issue. Highly recommend to everyone and we can't wait to return.

I'm struggling to put into words just how wonderful our wedding day was at Castlemartyr Resort. We got engaged during lockdown and didn't have an opportunity to visit the resort before booking, but every one of our vendors told us that the people at Castlemartyr would take good care of us - they were right! Every single member of staff went above and beyond for us and our guests during our stay. Jackie, Sarah, Yvonne, the guys at reception, the General Manager, the staff at the Hunted Hog, the Spa staff... they were all so kind and welcoming. The service on the day of the wedding was impeccable! They were so organised and attention was paid to every detail. This is a beautiful venue with dedicated and experienced staff - I only wish I could do it all again!

From the first visit to our first anniversary stay, we as a couple - or when I dropped into the hotel with my mom or bridesmaids - we were treated like the only people that mattered on that day. I was personally blown away by the attention, the kindness and generosity of the staff and hotel that checked on us, supported us and catered to all our needs and in ways I never imagined across the days before, during and after our wedding. Our entire family, friends and bridal parties complimented the hotel and staff, speaking about all the ways in which they were impressed during the wedding weekend and as the bride and groom it gave us a great sense of relief and satisfaction knowing that our guests had an equally amazing experience. I cannot find the words to express how highly I would recommend this resort, the wedding coordinators, the menu, the bridal suite, the personal attendants, the general staff and the quality and atmosphere felt as you drive through the gate. When we booked it we were hoping it would be a unique experience and we were not disappointed in the slightest. 4 times in 4 years we had to change our dates over Covid and the hotel accommodated us each time with no hesitations. From Yvonne to Jackie to Maeve to Kay and everyone else we had the pleasure to meet, they all made our life so easy. The attention to detail, friendliness, professionalism were all top notch. The day itself, we honestly couldn't have asked for anything more. It went off like a dream from the moment we landed to the time we left.
