10/10 experience and a 5 star rating for a 5 star day. Mark and I had the best day ever thanks to all in Castlemartyr Resort. So too did our guests! Firstly, the hotel’s willingness to assist us in having our wedding ceremony at home was something else. This was just so special for us and with the hotel’s help and resources, it became a reality quite easily. It just shows the extra mile to which the hotel will go. As locals, we felt blessed. The planning of the day took off to a slow start but from the moment Sachi came on board, she had every fine detail confirmed and planned to a tee. She was so friendly, helpful, hospitable and organised. As a result of her professionalism, the wedding was quite seamless and exactly how we envisaged. I know a couple who are working with her at the moment on their wedding and I have made sure to press on them how lucky they are to have Sachi on board. I recall one day calling up to the hotel pre-wedding up to ninety as there was a change in our wedding co-ordinator. I recall chatting with Kay, who reassured me that all was in hand and I had nothing to worry about. I went home and had a sound nights sleep, those small things meant a lot. On the day, everything was perfect from the drinks reception to the delicious food, the welcome reception etc. Again, Kay was always at hand and just made the whole experience so happy, fun and worry free. I would say that there was an obvious shortage of staffing but the staff that were present navigated through that. Nothing went wrong because of it and we still had a great and perfect day. We couldn't have been happier with our choice of venue for our wedding reception. Castlemartyr staff were very attentive, anticipating any queries. Their familiarity and experience ensured that the day flowed smoothly. Dinner was excellent, and fine dining standards were maintained even with 180 guests. From the moment we arrived in Ireland and saw Castlemartyr Resort, we knew it was the venue for us. They absolutely had fantastic service and welcome from Yvonne and the restaurant team during our wedding tasting. The food was of the highest quality, locally sourced and incredible, which the kitchen can produce to cater for our 150 guests. Both the canopy bar for our drinks and the wedding room was beautifully set up, both modern and tasteful. We were lucky enough to have gorgeous sunshine in October. Our guests were so impressed with the grounds. They all enjoyed the golf and spa facilities before our big day, as well as the walks and seeing the beautiful horses. Yvonne and the team managed everything well on the day, and everything went completely smoothly. We didn’t have to think about a thing! The bridal suite was also beautiful, with so much space for all the wedding party beforehand. The in-house hair stylist for my wedding hair made me feel so comfortable and relaxed. We can’t thank you all enough, from the check-in and concierge staff to the staff serving and Yvonne managing throughout - you made our day absolutely perfect!

We had the most amazing experience celebrating our wedding day in Castlemartyr Resort. All members of staff went above and beyond to look after us and all our guests. Nothing was too much of an ask. Our wedding coordinator Yvonne, was incredibly helpful and attentive and looked after all the finer details so we didn't have to. She was fantastic! Our Day was so magical and we would love to relive it all again!

From the moment we came to Castlemartyr for our first viewing, we were sold by the very warm welcome from Treavor. As we were originally supposed to get in married in 2020 but had to postpone due to covid, we found the staff so accommodating and supportive. Jackie was always at the other end of the phone if we ever needed anything. Our wedding day was everything we dreamed of and more and that was most definitely down to Cormack, Treavor, Jason, Breffni and Jackie. The meal was flawless and the waiting staff on the night were so attentive and nothing was an issue. Highly recommend to everyone and we can't wait to return.

I'm struggling to put into words just how wonderful our wedding day was at Castlemartyr Resort. We got engaged during lockdown and didn't have an opportunity to visit the resort before booking, but every one of our vendors told us that the people at Castlemartyr would take good care of us - they were right! Every single member of staff went above and beyond for us and our guests during our stay. Jackie, Sarah, Yvonne, the guys at reception, the General Manager, the staff at the Hunted Hog, the Spa staff... they were all so kind and welcoming. The service on the day of the wedding was impeccable! They were so organised and attention was paid to every detail. This is a beautiful venue with dedicated and experienced staff - I only wish I could do it all again!

From the first visit to our first anniversary stay, we as a couple - or when I dropped into the hotel with my mom or bridesmaids - we were treated like the only people that mattered on that day. I was personally blown away by the attention, the kindness and generosity of the staff and hotel that checked on us, supported us and catered to all our needs and in ways I never imagined across the days before, during and after our wedding. Our entire family, friends and bridal parties complimented the hotel and staff, speaking about all the ways in which they were impressed during the wedding weekend and as the bride and groom it gave us a great sense of relief and satisfaction knowing that our guests had an equally amazing experience. I cannot find the words to express how highly I would recommend this resort, the wedding coordinators, the menu, the bridal suite, the personal attendants, the general staff and the quality and atmosphere felt as you drive through the gate. It is more than special, it is remarkable and I can happily guarantee, it will be unforgettable.

My wife and myself were married and had our reception in Castlemartyr Resort. When we booked it we were hoping it would be a unique experience and we were not disappointed in the slightest. 4 times in 4 years we had to change our dates over Covid and the hotel accommodated us each time with no hesitations. From Yvonne to Jackie to Maeve to Kay and everyone else we had the pleasure to meet, they all made our life so easy. The attention to detail, friendliness, professionalism were all top notch. The day itself, we honestly couldn't have asked for anything more. It went off like a dream from the moment we landed to the time we left. Our guests are still raving about the day and it will be a place them and us will never forget and will always have fantastic memories. I would recommend the place in a heartbeat. Our experience at Castlemartyr Resort was exceptional from beginning to end. Castlemartyr Resort was the perfect location for our wedding. Jackie and the team could not have been more helpful and enthusiastic in making sure we had the best day. We were married outside, and the set-up of the site was immaculate and added to the magic of the day. We were married while Covid restrictions were still in place and the Castlemartyr ensured that everything went without a hitch and kept us updated prior to the wedding of any changes in regulations. The food was amazing, and a large number of our guests commented on this as well as on the lovely location. The function room and the hotel rooms themselves were immaculate and a slice of pure luxury. We chose Castlemartyr Resort for our wedding having visited fifteen other venues around Munster and the Castlemartyr Resort was heads and shoulders above the competition and is the perfect location for a wedding. We were so delighted with our day and the way it turned out. Jackie and the team were instrumental in ensuring it was a great day.

In December 2021 we had our beautiful wedding reception at Castlemartyr Resort. The team were wonderful to deal with and made it easy to plan (while in the UK and with the uncertainty of the pandemic). Our original date was 12/12/20 so we did have to postpone by a year. We were so thrilled with every detail and the day was everything we wished for and more! We had day two in the clubhouse and the food was again gorgeous. We had our wedding on the 1st of April 2022 and it was undoubtedly the best day of our lives. When I say it went off without a hitch I mean it sincerely and that is completely down to the dedication, hard work and attention to detail of the staff at Castlemartyr Resort. We had the most amazing wedding at Castlemartyr Resort. From the very first viewing we were spoiled and the staff ensured that we had the most fabulous time. All of our guests mentioned how helpful and friendly the staff were from booking with Maeve, to check in, to check out. Our coordinator Yvonne was fantastic and put us at ease and really helped us have a relaxing, and just as important, fun time! Brendan, the general manager, also ensured everything ran smoothly, we truly felt like VIPs. Junior was brilliant and was so helpful throughout the night. We had our ceremony outside the castle which was so beautiful. The food was absolutely fantastic, and many of our guests said it was one of the best venues they had been to for weddings. We wanted good food, good music, and good vibes for our wedding and the staff at Castlemartyr ensured we had just that. Not only is Castlemartyr Resort a stunning setting, with the beautiful castle, gorgeous Manor House, and modern ballroom, the staff are expertly trained and really are the best in the biz. Thank you to everyone there for giving us the best wedding we could have asked for!!

Our wedding at Castlemartyr was everything we wished for and more. Sarah was our wedding planner and she was absolutely fantastic to deal with. So helpful and couldn't do enough to ensure we had the best day. Some family members contracted covid just before the wedding and couldn't make it and the hotel went above and beyond to set up screens for them to be able to zoom the ceremony and the speeches. The venue itself is spectacular and the service we received from all of the staff was 5 star. We had a small wedding and we had the ceremony in the garden suite and the reception in the kiltha room, both rooms were stunning, and the food and wine was top notch. We can't wait to make many more return trips in the coming years.

We were married at Castlemartyr on the 27th of December and had the most beautiful experience from start to finish. Jackie, our wedding coordinator, was amazing from the outset. We would genuinely recommend Castlemartyr to anyone. We were looking for a venue that could offer a luxurious, relaxed atmosphere for us and our guests to enjoy and one that was professional and reputable enough such that planning the wedding would be as little stress and hassle as possible. We found that and more to be true of Castlemartyr. The following became apparent right from our initial visit, when we first made our enquiries. The experience and warm nature of the team really fills you with confidence that your wedding day will be of the utmost quality, or at least it did for us and at every point thereafter we received 5 star treatment. Every query or request we had was promptly answered and dealt with. And ours were few, because in fairness, they already had everything in hand. Our menu tasting experience only fuelled our excitement further, and we availed of a preferential B&B rate on that occasion too, which we would highly recommend. Everything about the day went as planned, in a seamless nature. I think when you are left with that impression, that everything is where and how it should be, but you have no idea who did it or when it was done - it goes to demonstrate the efficiency of the team in Castlemartyr. We thank Sarah and Kay, and compliment the rest of the team on their super high standards - They are absolutely fantastic at what they do and lovely while they do it too! Moreover, our guests echo this, and haven't stopped telling us so since the wedding! Would highly recommend.
