We couldn’t have asked for a better venue to host our wedding than The View Hotel in Eastbourne. From the very first moment we walked through the doors to view the hotel, we knew we were in safe hands. A very special mention has to go to Mel, who was absolutely fantastic from beginning to end. From our very first meeting, she was welcoming, professional, funny, kind and incredibly helpful. She was always clear about what we could have, what was possible and how we could make things work, and she was so accommodating whenever we wanted to make adjustments or personalise things. Mel had some brilliant ideas and recommendations throughout the planning process and was always on hand to answer questions and help us make decisions. Most importantly, she had a wonderful way of keeping me calm when things felt overwhelming — particularly on the wedding day itself! Having someone we trusted completely made such a difference. On the day itself, Isaac was absolutely brilliant. He was everywhere, running around making sure everything was happening when it needed to and helping the whole day run smoothly. He was friendly, helpful and just got stuck in — exactly what you need on a wedding day! A special mention also has to go to Sammie, who took over for the evening part of our wedding. She was fantastic at making sure everything continued seamlessly and that everything was taken care of. We felt completely supported throughout the evening, which meant we could relax and actually enjoy our wedding. And we have to mention the food — it was absolutely fantastic! Our guests commented on how delicious everything was, and we were so impressed with the quality and presentation. It was a really important part of the day and the hotel certainly delivered. The whole team at The View went above and beyond for us. We felt incredibly looked after from the very beginning

We had our wedding at The View Hotel. What an experience. From the first telephone call through to the day it was flawless. Nothing was too much for the amazing staff. I had arranged a full Scottish pipe band, this was accommodated with 16 band members. The magician and singing waiter was all kept a secret from my future husband. The staff were all fabulous with their time and effort to make sure that we had the best experience. The food and attention to detail was outstanding throughout the day. I have spoken to many guest that attended and all the feedback has been positive I couldn’t recommend this venue enough for a wedding or a special occasion. Many thanks again Teresa and John Craig.

The view hotel was the perfect venue for our wedding. Amazing package with everything included and not many places have everything included . All the staff were amazing and supportive throughout from start to end and the wedding coordinators that supported us Mel , Charli , Sammie were amazing. The catered for everything and helped us get through the wedding journey and through the day.

The View Hotel were absolutely incredible for our wedding. Mel, our events coordinator, and Sammy, who supported on the day, looked after me, my bridal party, and all our guests so well. The planning process was smooth, communication was great, and no question ever felt too silly. We stayed in the two‑bedroom suite, which was perfect for bridal prep, plenty of space for hair, makeup, and all the excitement of the morning. On the day itself, everything ran seamlessly. Mel and Sammy made sure every vendor knew exactly where they needed to be and when, which meant I could just enjoy the day. I was having such a good time on the dance floor that I missed the buffet, but our guests haven’t stopped talking about how good it was. The bar staff worked tirelessly, keeping everyone topped up and even sourcing alternatives when certain drinks ran out. I can’t thank the whole hotel team enough for making our wedding day perfect.

The View Hotel is amazing; they made the planning process so easy, and they helped every step of the way. Our wedding day was simply perfect. I can't thank the staff enough. We had the best time, and so did our guests. Everything ran on time, the food was loved by all, and the evening was very enjoyable. Our Wedding day on 14/6/25 was everything we wanted it to be. From our first visit with Mel at the planning stage through to the final day, Mel was very supportive, and nothing was too much trouble. Absolutely perfect day. All the staff were fantastic, especially Mel. The food was amazing. The disco in the evening was brilliant. No problems whatsoever. Would definitely recommend the hotel to anyone. Accommodation was perfect and so clean, and the view from our room was breathtaking. Dear Mel Thank you for your email and all the efforts you and the team went to in the build-up and on the actual day. It was amazing. We could not stop smiling. I found that you were always very responsive to emails and helpful with your suggestions. It was great that you encouraged us to view your venue when dressed for another wedding on the run up to ours. I was put at ease on the eve of our wedding when I got to take a sneak peek at the décor. Feedback from guests is that they thoroughly enjoyed themselves. They liked the menu choices we selected and commented on how nice the buffet was. Our wedding reception at the Pier suite at The View Hotel was, quite simply, perfect. When planning our wedding, Elodie and I wanted an intimate occasion to allow us to spend as much time together with our guests as possible. We looked at several venues in Eastbourne, including restaurants and other hotels, but knew immediately when we visited the View that it was going to be the right venue for our reception. The pier suite has spectacular views of the sea and was the perfect size for our roughly 20 guests. The Events co-ordinator, Mel, talked us through the whole process and was incredibly helpful throughout. She helped with details both big and small, and was always available to contact when we had questions. This included catering for guests of all ages, with different dietary requirements, helping guide our drinks order (the most important part of any wedding!) and giving us early access to the room to allow for decorations to make the room exactly how we wanted it. On the day, our reception was managed by the lovely Sammie, who ensured that everything was perfect for us. Sammie and the team went out of their way to ensure that we, and our guests, had an amazing time. From the moment we arrived (earlier than expected!) and were welcomed to the room with a glass of fizz, we felt immediately at ease and the care the staff took of us and our guests really exceeded our expectations. The drinks were flowing, the music was playing and the food was delicious. We couldn’t recommend the View more highly and despite being locals, Elodie and I will definitely be visiting again. We want to say a big thank you to everyone involved in our day, it truly was unforgettable and the View played a big part in that.

The View Hotel in Eastbourne offers the perfect setting with its modern architecture compared to other venues in the surrounding areas. Kendra and Mel were fantastic to deal with, and I was impressed with how quickly they responded to my questions and how friendly they were. I would recommend this events team to anyone looking for great service. They were amazing throughout the whole event. They were very attentive and super-helpful, making sure that we had everything we needed to make our experience unforgettable. Daisy was lovely and always had a beautiful smile on her face. We are very impressed by Maxim's service. He constantly checked on us and refilled our drinks, and he also assisted us with moving our wedding gifts to our room. He was very attentive and helpful throughout our stay. I had the pleasure of having Mel with me that day. She did more than what was expected of her and ensured that everything was perfect. I am so grateful for her presence and support. She made me feel confident and happy throughout the day. She is truly a wonderful person and I appreciate her so much.

We had the most amazing wedding day at The View Hotel. All of the staff were amazing from beginning to end, even coming up for a dance with us all at the end of the night! The rooms we used looked beautiful, and nothing was too much trouble. Without a single doubt, we made the perfect choice to have our day here, and we can't thank the whole team enough.

We wanted to choose a wedding-licensed venue with the "wow" factor, especially for our guests coming from far and wide. Having stayed at The View on previous visits, I was familiar with many of its facilities, contemporary style, and excellent location. I made initial enquiries with The View, along with other contenders, and after our first non-committal meeting with Mel and Jasmin from the Events Team, we quickly knew we were in the right place – one that couldn’t be bettered. Communication was excellent throughout the five months of planning, from our first enquiry to the fond farewell when we finally checked out after our very special day. We had a plethora of questions during this time, and these were promptly answered by Mel Bohnen, our Wedding & Events Executive, with whom we had the most interactions. She was a pleasure to deal with throughout. She provided valuable feedback on many of our ideas for the day, based on her vast experience. Some ideas became part of our updated contract, while others we discarded as unachievable, resulting in a very successful and enjoyable day. The service was impeccable. With 100 guests, they delivered without fail and kept on top of everything, which can’t be an easy task. Nothing was too much trouble, thanks to their "can-do" spirit. In particular, their attention to guests with pre-notified dietary requirements was spot on, even during the canapé offering at the champagne reception, where there were dedicated plates for these guests. The food was excellent and enjoyed by all, and Maxime and Daisy, in particular, kept our glasses topped up, especially for the wedding couple. Please extend our heartfelt thanks to everyone involved who made our day the success it was. Your teams are indeed a credit to The View.

We had the best day. It was brilliantly organised. Everything went like clockwork and smoothly. The team at The View Hotel truly looked after me and Sam with the drinks and canapés before and after the photos and with keeping us informed of what was going on. The food was delicious and plentiful. The DJ was great and was happy to take requests. All our wedding guests had nothing but praise for the team including the people working the bar. We couldn't have asked for a better day. Thank you for everything.

I am so glad we picked The View as the venue for our wedding. I was a pretty clueless bride, but Mel and the team made everything simple and answered every question I had. The day itself couldn't have been more perfect, it was completely stress-free and ran like clockwork. They even helped us to accommodate watching the football! Daisy helped to make sure the day ran smoothly and was on hand for whatever was needed. The venue is beautiful, the room we slept in was wonderful, with lots of little personal touches and the food was delicious. Thank you everyone!

Our day was perfect, and it’s all thanks to them and The View Hotel as a whole! The food is impeccable; all our guests complimented it and even wanted the recipes! The rooms were set out just as we wanted them, and given how truly beautiful they were, they didn’t need much extra decoration, as they looked magical with the mirrors, ceiling lights, and fairy lights. We couldn’t have picked a better venue and would highly recommend anyone looking to get married to consider The View Hotel, as you are bound to have a magical and perfect day, just as we did. It’s a day we will treasure, and we will never forget the staff and how brilliant they were, as they all went above and beyond.

A massive thank you to all the staff especially Sasha and Lesley for making our wedding day run so smoothly. On the day Sasha was amazing at coordinating everything and all staff memebers were very helpful and nothing was too much trouble. The hotel was lovely even though it rained all day I didn’t notice as we were having too much fun celebrating!

From start to finish every dealing we have had with the view has been nothing but fantastic. Lesley has been an actual joy to be around and plan the wedding with. Friendly & helpful, always there if we had any queries or concerns. The venue itself is beautiful everything was planned out perfectly & the day couldn’t have gone smoother. The food was delicious and complimented by many of our guests. Walking into the room we were blown away by the setup and backdrop of the seafront in the horizon suite was just stunning & a great opportunity for photos! There is nothing we would change or suggest as you guys seem to have everything covered. We could not recommend The View enough for everything they did for us not only on the day of the wedding but the run up to it too. We couldn't have asked for more attentive staff and they were all so caring and happy on the day. Lesley and Sasha both made sure they had all of our details correctly and ensured we knew we could get in touch about anything, no matter how big or small the question/enquiry was. Lesley and her team were absolutely fantastic at liaising with us every step of the way during the wedding planning process. Thanks to Lesley there were no "bridezilla" moments when it came to the reception, she was very receptive and did whatever she could to make any adjustments that were required and was a fountain of knowledge for other aspects - such as the cake and room decorations. I didn't believe it was possible for a wedding plan to go so smoothly but was happy to be proved wrong by the team at The View. The room looked amazing when all set out and I would recommend The View in a heartbeat to anyone looking to plan any sort of event - although any business meetings may get distracted by the beautiful view out the window!
