The View Hotel in Eastbourne offers the perfect setting with its modern architecture compared to other venues in the surrounding areas. Kendra and Mel were fantastic to deal with, and I was impressed with how quickly they responded to my questions and how friendly they were. I would recommend this events team to anyone looking for great service. They were amazing throughout the whole event. They were very attentive and super-helpful, making sure that we had everything we needed to make our experience unforgettable. Daisy was lovely and always had a beautiful smile on her face. We are very impressed by Maxim's service. He constantly checked on us and refilled our drinks, and he also assisted us with moving our wedding gifts to our room. He was very attentive and helpful throughout our stay. I had the pleasure of having Mel with me that day. She did more than what was expected of her and ensured that everything was perfect. I am so grateful for her presence and support. She made me feel confident and happy throughout the day. She is truly a wonderful person and I appreciate her so much.

We had the most amazing wedding day at The View Hotel. All of the staff were amazing from beginning to end, even coming up for a dance with us all at the end of the night! The rooms we used looked beautiful, and nothing was too much trouble. Without a single doubt, we made the perfect choice to have our day here, and we can't thank the whole team enough.

Our wedding at The View was everything I had ever dreamt of. From the moment we first visited the hotel, we felt valued and welcomed. Mel was absolutely superb. She put my mind at ease and helped me throughout the entire year leading up to the big day. She answered all my questions, offered suggestions, and made our day so special. I look back at the photos and videos and beam with joy. It was so perfect and beautiful. The staff were brilliant, and everyone talked about how lovely the food was. The hotel rooms were spotless and perfectly suited to us. We will be visiting The View every year on our anniversary to celebrate. We wanted to choose a wedding-licensed venue with the "wow" factor, especially for our guests coming from far and wide. Having stayed at The View on previous visits, I was familiar with many of its facilities, contemporary style, and excellent location. I made initial enquiries with The View, along with other contenders, and after our first non-committal meeting with Mel and Jasmin from the Events Team, we quickly knew we were in the right place – one that couldn’t be bettered. Communication was excellent throughout the five months of planning, from our first enquiry to the fond farewell when we finally checked out after our very special day. We had a plethora of questions during this time, and these were promptly answered by Mel Bohnen, our Wedding & Events Executive, with whom we had the most interactions. She was a pleasure to deal with throughout. She provided valuable feedback on many of our ideas for the day, based on her vast experience. Some ideas became part of our updated contract, while others we discarded as unachievable, resulting in a very successful and enjoyable day. The service was impeccable. With 100 guests, they delivered without fail and kept on top of everything, which can’t be an easy task. Nothing was too much trouble, thanks to their "can-do" spirit. In particular, their attention to guests with pre-notified dietary requirements was spot on, even during the canapé offering at the champagne reception, where there were dedicated plates for these guests. The food was excellent and enjoyed by all, and Maxime and Daisy, in particular, kept our glasses topped up, especially for the wedding couple. Please extend our heartfelt thanks to everyone involved who made our day the success it was. Your teams are indeed a credit to The View.

We had the best day. It was brilliantly organised. Everything went like clockwork and smoothly. The team at The View Hotel truly looked after me and Sam with the drinks and canapés before and after the photos and with keeping us informed of what was going on. The food was delicious and plentiful. The DJ was great and was happy to take requests. All our wedding guests had nothing but praise for the team including the people working the bar. We couldn't have asked for a better day. Thank you for everything.

I am so glad we picked The View as the venue for our wedding. I was a pretty clueless bride, but Mel and the team made everything simple and answered every question I had. The day itself couldn't have been more perfect, it was completely stress-free and ran like clockwork. They even helped us to accommodate watching the football! Daisy helped to make sure the day ran smoothly and was on hand for whatever was needed. The venue is beautiful, the room we slept in was wonderful, with lots of little personal touches and the food was delicious. Thank you everyone!

The View Hotel is a beautiful venue, without a doubt, and Mel, Daisy, and the rest of the events team are extremely friendly, helpful, and very talented, with a clear passion for their jobs. Our day was perfect, and it’s all thanks to them and The View Hotel as a whole! The food is impeccable; all our guests complimented it and even wanted the recipes! The rooms were set out just as we wanted them, and given how truly beautiful they were, they didn’t need much extra decoration, as they looked magical with the mirrors, ceiling lights, and fairy lights. We couldn’t have picked a better venue and would highly recommend anyone looking to get married to consider The View Hotel, as you are bound to have a magical and perfect day, just as we did. It’s a day we will treasure, and we will never forget the staff and how brilliant they were, as they all went above and beyond.

From the moment we entered The View Hotel to discuss wedding packages, Mel immediately made us feel very comfortable and offered many suggestions and contacts for the various things we required. Our expectations for our special day were not only met but exceeded in every way. The organisation of the day was perfect, allowing us to simply enjoy ourselves. All our guests felt very welcome, knew where to go, and where to be seated. The buffet option we chose was an absolute hit, with everyone enjoying the amazing food, along with all the thoughtful little touches that hadn’t been requested but were so appreciated. My wife and I had a wonderful wedding at The View Hotel. Tracey and the other staff were great during the planning and the staff on the day were incredibly helpful. A massive thank you to all the staff especially Sasha and Lesley for making our wedding day run so smoothly. On the day Sasha was amazing at coordinating everything and all staff memebers were very helpful and nothing was too much trouble. The hotel was lovely even though it rained all day I didn’t notice as we were having too much fun celebrating!

From start to finish every dealing we have had with the view has been nothing but fantastic. Lesley has been an actual joy to be around and plan the wedding with. Friendly & helpful, always there if we had any queries or concerns. The venue itself is beautiful everything was planned out perfectly & the day couldn’t have gone smoother. The food was delicious and complimented by many of our guests. Walking into the room we were blown away by the setup and backdrop of the seafront in the horizon suite was just stunning & a great opportunity for photos! There is nothing we would change or suggest as you guys seem to have everything covered. We could not recommend The View enough for everything they did for us not only on the day of the wedding but the run up to it too. We couldn't have asked for more attentive staff and they were all so caring and happy on the day. Lesley and Sasha both made sure they had all of our details correctly and ensured we knew we could get in touch about anything, no matter how big or small the question/enquiry was. All of our guests commented on how amazing the room looked and how brilliant all the staff members were. We can't thank everyone enough for making sure that our wedding day met all of our expectations and then some; all of our dreams came true!

Lesley and her team were absolutely fantastic at liaising with us every step of the way during the wedding planning process. Thanks to Lesley there were no "bridezilla" moments when it came to the reception, she was very receptive and did whatever she could to make any adjustments that were required and was a fountain of knowledge for other aspects - such as the cake and room decorations. I didn't believe it was possible for a wedding plan to go so smoothly but was happy to be proved wrong by the team at The View. The room looked amazing when all set out and I would recommend The View in a heartbeat to anyone looking to plan any sort of event - although any business meetings may get distracted by the beautiful view out the window!

We had a very lovely wedding superbly arranged by Lesley our coordinator. The room was beautifully arranged by Zoe with our choices of decorations laid out to plan. Amber looked after us on our day and the food we chose was beautifully presented in silver service style and all our of our guests complimented us on our choices. One slight disappointment was the wine service where after the first glass was served things went to pieces - we needed to chase the waiter for our own sparkle for toasting and table two did not receive any at all. It should have followed in a rotation but waiters were looking for tables to serve and we went to find our own chocolates on top table. None of this detracted from our personal enjoyment of the day; we were told by our guests later on. The Disco was excellent and Kevin the DJ went out of his way to encourage us to dance. The buffet was also good. We retired to our lovely room exhausted when the last of our guests called it a day.

From the moment I went to look at the venue, Lesley who we booked it with helped us from that moment onwards and even after the wedding, The venue was beautiful we could not fault this in anyway, Even the cake we took to reception as it sort of fell apart on the way down the night before the wedding and George on reception was a great help sorted this straight for us he got the cake fixed that same night, The staff who worked in a reception room were amazing, we feel the hotel went above and beyond for us and we could not thank them enough for everything they have done for us, They made our day very special and stress free, I would highly recommend this hotel to everyone and if I could rate them more than a 5* I would. We had our wedding reception in June 2017 at the View Hotel. Right from the very beginning Lesley was so welcoming and helped us every step of the way. From helping me with wedding timings, to what the table plan could look like and just generally anything she could help with she not only offered suggestions but she went an extra mile for us too. I can't thank her enough. Chelsea was also lovely and very accommodating and was with us the day before the wedding and the day of, helping us with the decor and last minute changes. During the reception, I believe his name is Simon, (but I could be very wrong) was in charge of the evening, and he was so helpful especially with food swaps due to allergies I found out then. Thanks to him, things went so smoothly and without a hitch. I can't thank the staff enough for their timeliness and professionalism, and would totally recommend the View Hotel for a hassle-free wedding. Also it is a very beautiful location!!!

We got married at The View Hotel in May 2017. From planning through to the day itself we can't find any faults and can share only praise for Lesley, Samer and the events team who helped make our day so special. We felt it was great value for money, the venue itself was perfect with beautiful views. Ourselves and our guests had a wonderful day and we wouldn't hesitate to recommend The View Hotel as a wedding venue.

From our first visit until we left on the morning after the wedding we loved The View. Lesley (Wedding Coordinator) was lovely, so friendly and relaxed yet efficient and knowledgeable. Our Wedding was perfect, the ceremony was just as we envisaged with the floor to ceiling window directly behind us, our guests had an amazing view- who could ask for a better back drop than our beautiful sea? The room looked amazing for both the ceremony and the wedding breakfast (with thanks to Flutterbys). All of the food was piping hot, well presented and superb. We decided on the house wine and had many compliments from our guests on how good it was. The hotel provides lots of photo opportunities with its spiral staircase, steps outside and of course the beach across the road. Our disco was provided by the hotel and the dance floor was full all night! All the staff were wonderful- friendly and efficient. Overall the most perfect day and we would sincerely recommend to any couple looking for a venue that stands out from the rest.

Wow! What an amazing day! We got married at The View Hotel, followed by the wedding breakfast and the evening reception. We can't thank the staff enough for all their hard work, especially Lesley! The day was just perfect and went just as planned. The food was amazing and all of our wedding guests have mentioned that the venue was amazing! There is nothing that we would change about the day, we are so pleased with the outcome. The View Hotel is the perfect wedding venue- amazing location & views, fabulous staff who cannot do enough for you, beautiful food and a fantastic atmosphere- our wedding day was an absolute dream, not one single issue. I cannot recommend The View highly enough, we had a large amount of family members staying at the hotel for the wedding and they were just as impressed as we were. Lesley, the events co-ordinator is just brilliant- nothing is too much trouble and you can rest assured your special day is in safe hands, the enthusiasm and expertise with which our wedding was dealt with was second to none.
