We had such a special day and weekend celebrating our wedding at the Dunloe thanks to the amazing food and staff there. We could not have chosen a more perfect venue for us and all our guests raved about the hotel and many have vowed to revisit for a break in the future. We recently had a wonderful weekend celebrating our wedding with our family and friends in The Dunloe Hotel and Gardens. We fell head over heels in love with this hidden gem the first time we met Jason and immediately knew this was the venue for us and our wedding was in safe hands. Jason is so competent, knowledgeable and easy to work with. From the moment we booked to this day, the service we received was exceptional. In the months leading up to our big day, Jason, Niamh and Simon could not have been more helpful and accommodating, always prompt to respond to any queries. There was never any problem making the wedding planning experience really enjoyable and stress-free. We were always made feel so special and that our wedding was unique and important to them. Our wedding menu tasting in The Grill Restaurant was an outstanding experience and we definitely recommend staying the night and making the most of this fun experience. We loved staying at the hotel for the weekend of the wedding. Our family and friends were made feel so welcome and it truly was a home away from home. We enjoyed some pre-wedding drinks in The Bar the night before (The Dunloe Signature cocktail was a big hit!) and this really added to the excitement. Also, the view of the Gap of Dunloe from The Grill Restaurant each morning while having breakfast was breath-taking. Mark and I are both lost for words on how to describe the service on the wedding day but it completely exceeded all our expectations. The bridal suite was so beautiful and spacious and made for a really relaxed morning getting ready. From early morning to late that night, both Jason and Niamh checked in with us regularly throughout the day to make sure everything was going ok for us. They were there to wish us off to the cathedral and welcome us back for the celebrations. Everyone was blown away by the luxurious Upper Lounge with its spectacular views for the drinks reception. Our guests are still commenting on how beautiful the grounds and hotel looked and most importantly how amazing the food was. We cannot complement the chef and kitchen staff enough for the quality of food that was presented. All the staff are so genuine and courteous and went above and beyond at all times. We are so grateful that everything flowed smoothly and perfectly on time, undoubtedly down to all the hard work that went on behind the scenes. We could not have asked for a better wedding day and highly recommend The Dunloe Hotel and Gardens as a five star wedding venue. It will forever hold a special place in our hearts with fond memories to last a lifetime. Thank you to all the management and staff for making our dream wedding come true.

To all the staff at The Dunloe a massive thank you from Owen and I for such an unforgettable wedding reception in July 2019. Jason and Niamh, you were fantastic in the weeks running up to the wedding. We really appreciate the effort you both put in. The food, wine and venue were second to none. From the moment we picked the Dunloe as our wedding venue, the service we received was 5 star. On the lead up to the wedding we were treated like VIP’s by Jason, Niamh and all of the Dunloe staff. The staff could not be more helpful and really make you feel at home. From the food, quality wine, accommodation and room layout the Dunloe is second to none. On the wedding day itself, the service and presentation of the hotel, the reception and the dining room was impeccable. There was no stress organising our wedding as Jason and Niamh took care of everything. We had an elderly parent and grandparents with us who needed wheelchair assistance. On a few occasions throughout the evening Niamh was a huge help and went out of her way for them. The food and ambience at the reception and at the dinner itself was amazing, all our family and friends are still raving about it 3 weeks later. The wedding rate accommodation is very reasonable including breakfast (which was delicious). All of our friends and family are so excited to go back. If we could give this venue more then 5 stars for a wedding we would! Thanks so much again Jason, Niamh and all the staff.

Myself and my now husband got married at The Dunloe on July 06th. From the very first day when we visited for our initial wedding consultation to the big day, the staff at this hotel have been nothing short of amazing! Both myself and my husband were very familiar with the hotel before choosing it as our wedding venue, however we were still blown away by the level of professionalism displayed by all staff members going from front desk to kitchen staff, bar staff, accommodation and everywhere in between. Special mention to Cormac at reception, Pearce in the bar, Mike in the restaurant. I would especially like to recognise Jason Clifford General Manager and Niamh Coakley who ensured we had the very best day! I would highly recommend The Dunloe as a wedding venue and we will be returning, it was always a special place for us and now it means so much more!

The team at The Dunloe couldn’t have made our special day anymore magical! The service provided from looking after the bridal party and getting the bride ready, accommodating our horses and carriage to feeding our guests was flawless! Surrounded by unicorns and immaculate gardens we had so much fun with our photographer! We will definitely be coming back for our anniversary.

The Killarney wedding of our dreams My husband and I got married in Killarney in June 2019. We had our ceremony at St Mary's Cathedral and our wedding reception at The Dunloe Hotel & Gardens. We live in London and Jason and Niamh made it so easy for us organising a wedding from overseas. From the first email to Jason about The Dunloe being our potential wedding venue, to Jason meeting us and taking us through all the details and then finalising all the parts for our big day, there was nothing too much trouble or too big an ask. They made us, along with all our family and friends feel so welcome (we had 200 guests fly over from the UK). Everything was 5* perfection and luxury. The Friday night we had drinks in The Bar and the atmosphere was amazing. The day of the wedding was seamless; Jason, Niamh and all their staff are perfectionists and are so well organised. The food was INCREDIBLE! All our guests have commented on how amazing the food was. The honeymoon suite was so beautiful and just the quality of everything in the room was amazing! Wedding of our dreams One year ago I got married at the Dunloe Hotel. We were not from Kerry and our wedding was a little different from the average. We rented the beautiful Beaufort House for the week. But we had planned to do a marquee in the garden. The Dunloe hotel had just been refurbished and was only around the corner from where we were staying. As the marquee was not a runner in the end. We last minute literally contacted the Dunloe. The staff at the Dunloe were just amazing. My wife dreams came through. It’s very hard to have a 5 star wedding venue that can make you feel relaxed and be as friendly as they were. The Dunloe is something very special. We got first class service. The kids were fed first and then taken off for a camp so the adults got time to themselves (this was priceless as we had 30 children). There was nothing the Dunloe couldn't do. And off course I forgot to say. The Dunloe is in a stunning setting, beautiful hotel with the most friendliest staff I have ever met. I am sorry to Jason and all the staff at the Dunloe I have not wrote this message till one year on. But Charlotte and I thank you will all our hearts for being there for us and helping us relax so we could have a wedding that I believe only Royals would dream of.

My husband and I got married here on 3rd May and it was the best day! We are living in New York and when we got engaged we anticipated that it maybe difficult to plan a wedding from abroad but the minute we met with Jason we knew we had chosen the perfect hotel. Both Jason and Niamh were fantastic to deal with on the lead up to our big day. From the minute we arrived at the hotel for our drinks reception everything went so seamlessly and we were able to really enjoy our day knowing that everything was being taken care of so well. Both Niamh and Jason checked in with us regularly throughout the night to make sure everything was going okay for us and this was such a nice touch. We received so many compliments from our guests in regards to the hotel and the service provided that day. One of the main feedbacks we received was how exceptional the food was and how much they enjoyed their meal. Guests also commented on how amazing the staff were and so attentive on the day of the wedding. We were so happy with how everything turned out, it really was a fairytale. We could not recommend the Dunloe Hotel highly enough to anybody getting married in the future. Jason and Niamh went above and beyond what we could have ever expected and we will be forever grateful

June 2nd we married in Fossa church followed by a reception that exceeded all of our expectations @ the Dunloe Hotel & Gardens. Our wedding (the first in the newly refurbished hotel) was spectacular from start to finish. This venue is in a league of its own, so beautiful, the new decor is so classy & trendy, the views are breathtaking, the staff & standard of service oozes 5star training & attention to detail, the food was to die for. The drinks reception area with an outdoor garden terrace is amazing, especially in the sunshine. The Park Suite function room with floor to ceiling glass views of the surrounding countryside & beautiful horses in the gardens is magical on a summers day. After our delicious meal, we had a BBQ pig on a spit out on the balcony close to midnight that left our guests watering at the mouth. This venue has it all as a destination wedding venue, we couldn’t recommend it highly enough. Thanks to Jason, Kayla & The Dunloe team for looking after our every request, nothing was a problem, the only problem is we wish we could go back & do it all over again. Kellie & Jimmy xx

We got married in this beautiful hotel with stunning grounds on September 29th and honestly our day was more than we both could ever have wished for. The hotel itself is spectacular especially since its recent refurbishment. The hotel staff were superb in the whole run-up to the wedding and on the day they were so attentive to both us and all our guests. The food was also superb and all our guests commented on how good the day was. We can’t recommend Hotel Dunloe enough and we wish we could do it all over again. We recently celebrated our wedding at The Dunloe and we had a wonderful experience. Not only are the staff extremely professional, but they're also very flexible and easy to work with. We began our planning process with Jason Clifford, the general manager, and then worked closely with the new assistant manager Kayla Burrows. First things first, the venue is stunning. When we’re in the hotel, we’re looking at all the furniture and making future plans for our own home’s décor because it’s so well decorated. You can see people’s eyes widen as they enter the building. Each room has its own personality and you don’t get the feeling of fake luxury that many seemingly fancy hotels exude. This is the real thing. Back to the wedding… We admittedly had our guards up going in, assuming we would have to protect and fight for our desires, especially given how bespoke our wedding was. But our specific requests, no matter how strange they may have been (i.e., can we use a staggered stack of old books in lieu of a cake stand?) were met with warmth and flexibility. When a request couldn’t be met (alright, so maybe the stacked books were potentially flimsy and the cake would be at risk—thanks, Kayla!) The Dunloe would find an alternative solution that worked just as well or better. Do yourselves a favour and listen to their input because, at the end of the day, they have so much more experience with weddings than you probably do and, thus, a model for determining guest behaviors. Jason was waiting for us with champagne when we arrived at the venue and a vehicle delivered us to the castle ruins where we could take some photos before joining our guests in the reception room. We were lucky to have a beautiful day, and the Dunloe grounds made for some lovely photos of our wedding party and family. The reception room is my favourite — recently remodeled. It’s gorgeous. The furniture, the décor, the bar, the balcony and views — a perfect setting to share in tears and laughter with your most cherished people just after tying the knot. In greeting guests, I forgot to grab any canapes before they were done being served so a staff member ran down to the kitchen to make me a special plate. My husband and I began practicing our speeches separately once the guests headed into the dining room and before we were summoned. The same staff member offered me a pen, but I told him I wouldn’t need it. Thirty seconds later, I realized I had some changes to make. As I approached the bar, he had one hand wiping the counter and the other holding the pen out to me. These little touches are what made the day so special for us. They predicted everything! The food was wonderful (seafood salad is amazing as a starter!) and the service was impeccable — fast and responsive. No guest went hungry between the ceremony and dinner, and definitely not between the reception and dinner. The food was abundant and servers even offered our guests extra portions. Plus, they’d even offered some flexibility with menu options. Overall, they coordinated everything perfectly for us, including the song we would enter to, the timing of it, our path to our table — things we never would have thought of. They informed us when we hit certain amounts related to drinks, as promised—and always very discreetly. Although we’d coordinated our own ceremony and designed that venue ourselves, we couldn’t have imagined coordinating the rest of the celebration. The amount of work that must have went into it and the precision with which it was delivered will continue to impress us and make us smile when we think about our day. We highly recommend The Dunloe for your wedding day.

As we reflected on our Wedding Day in July 18 we could not possibly have asked for more. The Dunloe hotel surpassed all expectation and we will be forever grateful for that. Jason, Kayla, Matthew, Simon and all of the team at The Dunloe Hotel made our day so so special. Every member of staff we met were exceptional. Jason was our first point of contact in the Dunloe and we knew immediately we were in safe hands and when Kayla joined the team earlier this year we were even more assured if that was possible. No request was too big or too small and everything we asked for was met with a smile, good humour, and the utmost professionalism. The hotel is newly renovated and the design and layout is to a very high and exacting standard including the outdoor areas. It is set in a tranquil area just outside Killarney with the Gap of Dunloe on its doorstep but also very accessible to the town. The restaurant and breakfast experience is a must and the coffee is excellent. Bedrooms are spotless with lots of space and really comfortable with amazing views from the balconies. The day itself was just magic, every one of our guests commented on the staff in the Dunloe and how lovely everyone was to deal with. The check-in process was seamless even though many guests were checking in at the same time after the ceremony. I think the staff also did a great job of making both sets of parents feel extra special and offering them loads of help. The food and wine were better than we could ever have hoped and the service was what made all the difference. The team in the Dunloe is what makes the venue so incredible and we could not recommend it enough for anyone looking for a very special wedding day. Our wedding in June at the Dunloe Hotel exceeded our expectations and we could not have chosen a better venue and group of people to work with. Jason, Kayla, Simon and all of the staff at the Dunloe help made our day absolutely perfect. In the lead up to the wedding every query was dealt with in super speed time and any help we needed with anything was given without question - Kayla was always on the ball! On the day itself we were absolutely pampered and so were each of our guests - we did not have to worry about one thing - everything was seamless. Not only were each of the staff highly professional, making sure that everyone had enough to eat and drink at all times, but also very personable which added a bit of magic to the day. We held our wedding in the Dunloe Hotel in October 2016 and cannot recommend it highly enough. The venue is spectacular, set on beautiful grounds overlooking the stunning Gap of Dunloe. Jason, Veerpal, Duncan and the hotel staff were extremely professional and helpful and couldn't do enough to ensure that our day ran smoothly and that everyone was catered for. Duncan (restaurant manager) was very helpful during our food-tasting visit and shared his expertise in helping us to choose our menu and wines. The food and service was exceptional on the day and many of our guests commented that it was the best 5-star meal and service they had ever experienced. We were very happy with the support and communication we received from hotel management throughout the 9 months of wedding planning. All requests were catered for and nothing was ever a problem. I look forward to returning to the Dunloe Hotel in Spring 2018 when renovations are completed and am only sorry that we cannot return sooner to celebrate our one-year anniversary in October! Right from the very beginning when we went to view The Dunloe. We knew that it was the place for us. The combination of the beautiful setting of the hotel, amazing food and then to the friendliness & helpfulness of all staff, we knew this was where we wanted to have our wedding. From the moment we arrived we were treated so well by Jason, Veerpal and the team they were outstanding from start to finish. They worked tirelessly and attentively throughout our stay and on the day to make this a very special day for us and our guests. All our guest commented on just how relaxed our day was and how everything ran so smoothly and efficiently. We had our wedding reception at The Dunloe on 30 July 2016 and it truly was the best day of our lives. We chose The Dunloe as our wedding venue because the location is simply stunning and the service is TOP CLASS. From start to finish, Jason The Hotel Manager and his team were so professional and accommodating. We are living in Perth and planned our wedding from Australia. The planning process ran very smoothly - Jason was always very responsive to our emails and gave us some great suggestions for our wedding day. On the morning of our wedding, we received a wonderful text from Jason wishing us a great day and telling us to relax, sit back and enjoy our day in the knowledge that he and his team would look after everything. This reassurance really put our minds at ease and true to his word, Jason and his team (Veerpal the Duty Manager, Duncan the Restaurant Manager and Frank the Doorman in particular) were sensational and took exceptional care of us and all our guests. The weather was beautiful and we took our professional photos on the breathtaking grounds of The Dunloe. We were spoilt for choice with the picturesque setting and taking our photos at The Dunloe allowed us to spend more time with our wedding guests. Jason also made sure the bridal party were pampered during our photo session by sending down champagne, strawberries and canapés. All of these wonderful touches are what sets Jason and his team at The Dunloe apart from other wedding venues. We were treated like royalty during our stay at The Dunloe and we will forever be grateful to Jason for helping to make our wedding day so special and memorable. The meal was fantastic and our guests are still reminiscing about their fabulous day at The Dunloe. Everything and everyone was catered for from dietary requirements to entertainment for children, with a fabulous outdoor playground. Myself and my wife had our wedding reception at The Dunloe at the end of September 2016. Since the day, there has been nothing but praise for the hotel and experience encountered by all of our guests. We chose The Dunloe as it ticked all the requirements we were looking for to thoroughly enjoy and feel at ease on our wedding day. From the moment you enter the long tree lined avenue, with lush green fields containing the cows and horses, you know that you are entering somewhere special which is lovingly maintained. The grounds themselves are amazing and the backdrop to the gap of Dunloe is spectacular and there are no shortage of areas where photographers will want to get a few shots in. The run up to our wedding could not have gone smoother with the assistance of the management and staff at The Dunloe, in particular Jason (the General manager) and his deputy manager. We were assisted and advised on the bands, room decorating, flowers and pretty much anything we needed to ensure a perfect day. The food.......Yes a big talking point......all I can say is that you will not be disappointed, in fact every bit of feedback was overwhelmingly positive. With a food and wine tasting offered complimentary prior to the wedding day, we chose our starters, soup, mains and dessert and as promised by Duncan (the restaurant manager) it was exactly as it was presented on the day, with outstanding service throughout the meal and no shortage for those who requested a bit more! The rooms have recently been upgraded throughout the hotel and were very comfortable. Complimentary use of the indoor swimming pool and leisure facilities were also enjoyed by those guests staying. As we also had some children at our wedding, they were entertained at the outdoor playground and at the childrens facilities in the evening with movies and activities. Child minders were upon recommendation from the Dunloe. Overall, we cannot recommend highly enough considering The Dunloe for a wedding!

We had our wedding reception at The Dunloe on the 7th October 2016. One word for it "CLASS". From the gorgeous grounds and trees outside with their beautiful coloured autumn leaves falling, the spectacular view of the Gap of Dunloe at the front of the hotel and the castle and River Laune down in the valley at the back. Jason and Veerpal the managers are a great combination together, along with all the amazing staff so helpful and friendly, nothing was a bother down to the stable gang who brought out the majestic Halfinger Horse "Sophie" for photographs by our request, not a problem :) The food was out of this world, the Park suite has lovely views and natural light for the reception. The Dunloe is an exceptional venue in every way and we look forward to visiting again in 2018 and thank you for making our wedding day a truly magical experience. Una & Jerry

We selected the Dunloe as our wedding venue because we primarily wanted somewhere picturesque for the ceremony. The hotel has a variety of options for hosting the civil ceremony that are so perfect, it’s almost impossible to choose. We were immediately excited with the idea of a perfectly sunny day and getting married outdoors in the garden, followed by drinks reception in the thatch cottage. That excitement carried all the way through to the day before the wedding when the chance of rain was forecast and we though it better to play it safe and to instead get married indoors in the Beaufort suite. The Beaufort suite has large windows which looks out on the mystical Gap of Dunloe. We only had 70 guests but this large and spacious room felt perfectly full, aisle perfectly formed and toddlers trying to escape their parents coloured the otherwise open and unused areas of the venue, it couldn’t have been more perfect. While the hotel is only 5 minutes’ drive to the Gap of Dunloe, our photographer was satisfied that the Dunloe Hotel grounds and gardens provided more than enough photo opportunities to capture the occasion with a variety of backdrops. Ours wasn’t a typical wedding as we wished to combine the best of Irish with the best of polish wedding traditions. We were anxious about this from the very first day we met the Hotel Manager Jason Clifford. That was the only time we considered Jason to be the manager as he quickly became our wedding planner, our ideas man and our solution provider. Polish tradition requires food to be available throughout the day and night to snack on while they drink. In response to this, the hotel provided a buffet that ran from after the main wedding dinner till the early hours of the morning. This worked great, not only for the polish requirements but it also allowed us provide food for evening guests. Everybody spoke extremely highly of the quality and quantity of food provided throughout the day and night. The evening guests ate and mingled with the main wedding party while the band set up and everyone was perfectly ‘oiled’ when the music started. Our only regret was that the first we saw of the incredible bridal suite was 4am in the morning when we eventually made it to bed. We didn’t get to enjoy the bridal suite but we still wouldn’t have changed anything about the day, it was perfect! A huge thanks to Jason. I don’t know who ran the hotel that day as Jason seemed to be omnipresent ensuring everything was running like clockwork from our arrival for the ceremony until late at night. Jason, thanks for helping us make the day everything we wanted it to be!!

My husband and I got married here on the 30th august 2013 , from start to finish our day was flawless . We had our civil ceremony here in the maple room , with views that would take your breath away . Elisabeth looked after our day in every way possible , she went above and beyond for us . I would highly recommend anyone planning a wedding to consider the Dunloe highly . The setting , the staff , the location are none I have ever experienced before . We look forward to returning for our anniversary next year!

A FANTASTIC WEDDING!! My Husband and I got married in The Dunloe on the 28th September 2013. From the first visit to see the hotel Jason and the team were absolutely fantastic. Nothing we asked for was ever a problem - even a big screen to watch the hurling final replay was no problem and all our guests loved it! The day of our wedding was just seamless from start to finish, Jason was waiting at the front door with champagne for us on our arrival and the minibus was on standby to transport the bridal party around the grounds for our photographs. The photographs are beautiful such a stunning location! While we were taking our photographs our guests were treated to delicious canapés. All the staff in the hotel were so friendly and helpful and made our guests day and our day even better than we had hoped for. The reception room was just beautiful. The meal was without doubt top class and 5 star service from all from start to finish, all our guests are still raving about the meal. The staff were always on hand to offer extra servings of meat or vegetables and there were plenty of options on the children’s menu. We cannot recommend The Dunloe highly enough, the location, the staff, the service , everything is TOP CLASS!! A massive Thank you to Jason and all you Staff for giving us the wedding of our dreams.
