From the very first day we went to meet Aine the wedding planner we could see just how professional and welcoming she was. Over the next year we were invited into every wedding fair and made to feel so special in the build up to our day. Nothing was too much of an issue, we were given great advice and helped at every turn, all we had to do was ask and it was done. We were invited in for the most fabulous tasting meal in the new restaurant with a corner table overlooking the river, the manager on duty came to chat with us and see if we needed anything else and asked us could they do anything more for us. They couldn't have as everything was just fabulous. In the week building towards our special day Aine was on hand as she always was to assist in every way possible, she really took the stress out of our big day. The night before the groom party all stayed at the hotel and had a fabulous evening before the big day. The day itself was fantastic, every staff member from managers on duty to reception staff to all bar and waiting staff were so kind and helpful with the many requests and made sure the day went off without a hitch with the exception of the wedding hitch of course. We had a civil ceremony at the hotel and the room looked great and this was then changed around in a quick and professional manner for our meal and evening reception. The managers on duty that day were with us every step of the way to ensure the day was as easy and enjoyable as possible. The food was great and all the guests said the new menu was delicious and the whole hotel is looking really good after the new renovations. I would highly recommend this hotel and its staff for a wedding. I'm sure there is even things I am forgetting to mention. We have been back for food numerous times since we got married and the staff are always so polite and the food so nice. The service provided was brilliant! The team are amazing at all you do, we cannot thank you enough for being so helpful and so forthcoming in answering any queries we may have had. What can I say I never felt so at ease upon arriving, the staff again were so friendly and went out of their way to ensure that we were given the utmost attention. Everything we had asked for was provided and more, we were very impressed. Our Wedding Reception was my favourite part. It was so magical! I couldn't have asked for more, everything was as I had envisioned it to be and then some! In particular, we would love to just say a massive thank you to Denis, he pulled out all the stops for us and gave us everlasting memories to treasure. He's truly such an asset to your hotel. His demeanor is infectious and we thought him to be wonderful at what he does best. The atmosphere was just electric, all our guests commented on the food saying it was, and I quote, "impeccable" as was the efficiency of the staff. Presentation was second to none, absolutely superb. The evening reception was very well put together, we couldn't fault a single thing. The food was beautiful, fresh and hot and all enjoyed it. The Bridal Suite is to die for, absolutely beautifully laid out and presented. Any newlyweds would be delighted to spend the night in your suite so comfortable and so contemporary. We had our special day here on 8th August 2018. I would like to thank Àine and Deirdre in events for making my vision come to light, months of planning had really paid off. From the moment we met Patrick we knew The Tower Hotel was for us. He gave us such a fab meet and greet that the following day we booked The Tower Hotel for our wedding. Deirdre, Aine and the team are amazing. We wanted a venue who we could trust to deliver as with two children we didn't have the time to be following up on every little thing. We told them what we wanted and they exceeded our expectations on the day. At the tasting, the waiter made sure we tried a variety of food and wine to ensure we were picking the best selection for us. Everything ran so smoothly on the day and it was such a relaxed atmosphere. The staff were so friendly and efficient. They were always checking to make sure people had enough food and drink. The room was decorated beautifully. I couldn't recommend The Tower Hotel enough. The team are so confident and you can completely trust them to deliver whatever you ask. We never had to chase them once which is what made the whole experience so relaxing. We booked it and they got on with the job in hand which resulted in us having an amazing day surrounded by family and friends without any stress. For that, we can't thank them enough. Just a little thank you from Ken and I on the outstanding service we received from everyone on Saturday, we had the best day . The room looked amazing, the food was amazing and guests commented on the efficiency of the service through out dinner, so thanks to all the hard working staff for that. Catherine, Kens mam, was super impressed with the gluten free bread and all the other bits she requested. It was a pleasure doing business with ye, a huge thank you to yourself Aine you welcomed and looked after us from our very first meeting.

I had my wedding in the Tower Hotel Waterford and we had a fantastic time here. All the events team were always there to help. Aine & Deirdre were fantastic the whole way through the planning. We were shown the new Pier 37 bar & restaurant which was ready to be opened, delighted we were the first people to use it for the amazing river views. I left a good few pieces behind me after checking out, thankfully Seamus rang me, he left them all behind reception for me. Id highly recommend this hotel for any occasion as all the staff were amazing.

The newly refurbished Tower Hotel did not disappoint at our wedding on Saturday, 8th July 2017. Indeed, everything went pretty much like well-oiled clockwork. From the very moment that we informed Áine Comerford, (the utterly-superb) Events Manager that we made the decision – after quite a bit of deliberation of various Waterford and Kilkenny venues – to have our reception at the Tower Hotel, the venue engaged with us throughout the planning stages right up to (and after) bringing our post-ceremony celebrations to fruition. Indeed, every request – big and small – was entertained. Everything in relation to the food (and wine) – the preparation, the presentation, the quality, the portions and the (timely) serving of each course – was excellent. ‘Needless to say’, those with specific dietary requirements were earnestly taken care of. Also, it would be remiss of us not to justly mention the following: Seamus O’Carroll (General Manager), Deirdre Byrne (Áine’s co-Events Manager), Patrick Meyler (Banqueting Manager) and all those ‘behind’ the scenes, i.e. reception staff, kitchen staff, waiting staff, etc., etc. The management and staff at the Tower Hotel truly are experts in their field(s).

Overall, we had an excellent day, and everything went to plan. Aine made the booking and planning of the day, an absolute breeze from the start, and she kept in regular contact, even though myself and Gavin were at different sides of the world. When she wasn’t available, there was always other staff available to help throughout the process too. We had a taster meal, a while before the wedding, and the service and food was impeccable, as it was on the day too. Everyone had complemented on the quality of the food on the day, and how efficiently the staff timed the gaps between courses. They also catered to those with food allergies, appropriately too, and they all were happy with the alternative arrangements. The arrival and wedding reception also went according to plan, and both myself and Gavin felt relaxed throughout the day. It was well organised overall, and we were always made aware of what we had to do, in plenty of time, regarding, speeches, the wedding and the evening reception. Our suite was beautiful and we were greeted with a lovely gift on arrival. We also had a wonderful breakfast the next day, so good we stayed on for another two nights. Most of our guests were travelling from abroad, and again they all commented positively on the accommodation and hospitality they received. Many thanks, Michelle and Gavin.

When Aidan and I got engaged, we didn't know what type of wedding we wanted or how many guests we would have, but we knew we wanted our wedding in the tower. From the first appointment my mam and I went treated so well, we knew we had made the correct choice in venue, the team at the tower discussed options with us which covered every budget and every taste. After our first meeting we were emailed a copy of everything we had discussed and provisionally agreed on which was great to read over as wedding planning can get a little blurry, however I knew that at all times Aine and Deirdre were only a call away if we had any further queries. As the wedding edged closer we met with the team to go over numbers and menus, we were blown away by the fabulous transformation the main ballroom had received...and we were delighted to attend the wedding showcase, this a must for anyone who is considering booking their wedding as it gives you a perfect glimpse into how special the Tower will make your day. In the final weeks and days before the wedding we were invited down for our menu tasting, we brought our parents along to so we could include them in the fun and we were all treated like royalty, the excellent restaurant staff explained every detail of the items we were sampling and the wine selection that we would be serving on our big day. The week of the wedding came in so fast and understandably we were getting a little nervous regarding numbers, table plans etc however we were put at ease each and every time we spoke with the team in the Tower, nothing was too much trouble. Our wedding day came and went in a flurry of hugs, kisses, photos with us surrounded by family and friends in a fabulous venue that went above and beyond for each and every person who attended our special day. I couldn't recommend the tower highly enough, the care and attention we received surpassed anything we could have hoped from, the team at the tower can transform wedding dreams into reality.

Both of us are still on a high from the wedding. Personally for me arriving at the Tower Hotel and being greeted by so many genuinely happy staff members faces made my day. My mother actually asked why was there so many people there ha The staff lined the red carpet up the steps of the hotel and I can't express in words how this made me feel without welling up. From the first enquiry I sent to the tower 18 months ago right up until the day of our wedding the professionalism we experienced was second to none. From e mails and phone calls to visits with the wedding planners our every whim was catered for. We had both our ceremony and reception in the Tower hotel and everything went to plan. The hotel staff decorated the ballroom exactly how we wanted, it was breathtaking!!! We were put at ease immediately and treated like royalty. The bar manager Jonas was a pleasure and Patrick took care of our every need on the day. The bar staff and reception staff are to be praised, the dinner was excellent as was the service. I was asked on arrival jokingly by some of the staff if I was nervous and my reply was simply "how could i be nervous when the treatment is like this". We booked the Tower for the next day for our after party and the service yet again was unrivalled. We had food and entertainment catered for and everything was amazing. We also stayed a second night and going from the bridal suite ( which was fab) to a family room wasn't as painfull as we thought ???? it was all flawless. My wife and I got married in the Tower Hotel on the 18TH August 2017. I cannot speak highly enough of the Tower Hotel Waterford, from the moment we first met Deirdre and her team. The booking and planning service was very helpful. The fact we live in the UK could have made this awkward for us, but that could not be further from the truth. Nothing was too much trouble and either Deirdre or Aine were always reachable. We had a couple of sit down meetings with the ladies on different occasions on the run up to the wedding. Our individual preferences and little touches that we wanted were not any hassle and we were made feel very welcome and comfortable from day one. On the day itself the arrival was exceptional as we were welcomed to the hotel by the General Manager and offered a glass of bubbly as soon as we got out of the car! The level of service by the bar and catering staff was top notch, this was a reflection of not just my wife and I, but all the wedding party and guests alike. The wedding reception set up was exactly how Claire had imagined and wanted it to be and the place was immaculate. Recently renovated there was a sense of pride in what the hotel had prepared for us. The food was delicious and again this was reciprocated by the entire wedding party. Vegan & Vegetarian guests were very happy with their options. Second helping for those who wanted was not an issue and everyone was very well looked after. The Honeymoon suite was fantastic, very comfortable and fantastic little touches throughout the room. The breakfast the following morning was, again , delicious and just was needed after such a great night in the residents bar the night before!

We had our wedding reception in the Tower Hotel recently and all I can say it was 100% perfection!! The whole Events team out done themselves!! From the first day we walked into the Tower to view it we were made feel so special and welcome! Aine and Patrick are a massive credit to the hotel their attention to detail is out of this world and made our whole experience so enjoyable and fun with no worries!!! I can't commend this team enough not only did they organise our wedding reception exactly the way we wanted it they treated us like friends!!! On the first day, we walked into the hotel, we knew this was the place we wanted to celebrate our wedding. The staff made us feel like we were the most important people that ever inquired about a wedding and that was before we made our booking. Once we booked, the event staff Deirdre and Aine were only a call or email away. No query was too big or too small. We had a humanist wedding and held the ceremony in the hotel so the entire day was held in the one location. It’s the little things that made the difference we wanted a certain song played at the end of the ceremony and the staff arranged it without so much as a blink of an eye. We went to sample our tasting menu and in a busy restaurant they once again made us feel so special. On the day of our wedding from the manager stopping by at the breakfast table (Thomas stayed the night before in the hotel) to make sure everything was ok or maybe to help settle nerves. Once our guests arrived and the festivities started we couldn’t fault a thing. We had entertainment arranged while we disappeared to get our photographs taken. The staff had the reception room transformed in the blink of an eye. The meal or should I say feast was possibly the nicest meal we had ever eaten in a hotel, It was even better than the night we sampled our menu. The rest of the night was like a dream. We would recommend this hotel to anybody looking to book a wedding, we had the day of our dream’s here.

From the day we walked into the hotel to book our special day, we were made to feel like we were the most important people. That continued throughout our entire planning process and the big day. We were given loads of written information in the booklet, however it doesn't cover half of what the actual team do for you in the run up and the actual day. Nothing was too much for Deirdre, Aine and Pat. The team work seamlessly together and it shows in every aspect of the hotel. The little details were always at the fore. For example, I mentioned Barrys tea at one of our meetings and Aine offered to go and but Barrys tea for our drinks reception. Now that is a service!!! On the day, as the groom, it was the kind words that kept me calm and knowing that everything was as we had previously discussed. As the bride, I was greeted at the door of the hotel by Pat, who had a funny story and a good laugh before I walked in! The room for the ceremony was set up just as it had been described to us. Even things like the little lanterns lighting the way up and the lighted back drop make a massive difference in making it very personal. We had specific music requests for the ceremony. These were met with minimal effort. Early check in was offered for the musicians who travelled for the UK and our other guests. Once the ceremony was over we were greeted by champagne, a congratulations and big smiles from the team. All of our guests needs were catered for again with absolutely no fuss. Gluten free, diabetic, dairy free, nothing was too much. All of our guests were very satisfied. The band arrived and we didn't even see them setting up. The bridal suite is amazing with spectacular views of the River Suir. Without a shadow of doubt, I would recommend this hotel to any bride and groom for their special day. A massive thanks to all of the team involved. Keep up the fantastic work that ye do so effortlessly.

First I would like to thank all the staff at the Tower for making our day so special and unique for us. When we decided to book our wedding we went around to a few hotels in the Waterford area to get pricing and dates. We were very unimpressed by the unprofessionalism from these hotels. We went to the Tower and from day one we were absolutely delighted with the way we were treated from Reception staff to event staff. Every detail we had envisioned for our wedding was brought to life. Anything we wanted was no problem from the room layout to linens . As I stayed in the hotel the night before with my mother and bridesmaids we had a reserved area in the bar for dinner. We were given a late checkout for our rooms so we could get ready for the wedding ( Hair & Make up ). Tea/Coffee sent to the room with in minutes of asking nothing was a problem. The room for the civil ceremony was even more stunning than I could have thought. The arrival reception was perfect for the guests with tea, coffee, punch, and biscuits with plenty for everyone. The evening reception room was beautiful the mood and atmosphere was perfect. The food was amazing and i have heard from a few of my guests that they came back out with extra of everything and the servers were very polite and chatty . The room was transformed for the evening reception and the evening buffet was served all perfect we danced into the night. Our suite was beautiful with a bottle of Moet, fruit bowl, and a few more little surprises were such a lovely touch . All our guests were very happy with their rooms and the price. Also as we had over 100 guests we received a free week in their sister hotel sunset beach in Spain. Which we used as part of our honeymoon and also the staff were so friendly. Once again i cannot thank the Tower hotel and staff enough for making our day perfect in every way. Thank you all so much Mr & Mrs Moran

When we were booking our wedding we dealt with Deirdre Byrne the events manger in the Tower. She was very welcoming and friendly. She went through all the packages and details that we needed to know about. She was very efficient and gave us all the information we needed to know. We didn't need to use the website. We were welcomed outside by Patrick, with drinks and red carpet. Patrick was very friendly and escorted us into the hotel where we were meet by our family and friends. The staff were exceptional throughout the evening and night. The room set up was beautiful, it was comfortable and spacious and the atmosphere was very relaxed. The menu catered for all our guests (coeliacs, vegetarians and other allergens). Food service was just right leaving enough time to digest each course but yet not having to wait too long either. The food was delicious and very well presented. The evening food, presentation and service was very good and the bar staff looked after our guests very well. The suite was very comfortable and spacious and we had a lovely view of Reginald's Tower and the Plaza

Perfect Wedding Day Our experience with the Tower Hotel in planning our wedding day can be summed up in one word, perfect. From the moment we met Deirdre, the events planner, to the moment we checked out the day after our wedding, everything was perfect. No matter what we asked for, no matter how small or big, Deirdre and the team in the Tower Hotel did not hesitate to meet our needs. Upon arriving at the hotel for the wedding reception, everything was laid out exactly how we wanted it and walking into the Ardmore Suite took our breath away. Patrick was on hand all day and he was tremendous. The food was excellent and a lot of our guests commented on its exceptional quality and taste. We held our wedding ceremony and reception in the Tower Hotel in June of this year. We were extremely pleased with our experience there. From the very beginning Deirdre and Co treated us like royalty. They were very efficient and professional and were always on hand to help and advise us on every aspect of the day. Nothing was a problem and our every wish was granted. The day itself was fantastic. Ourselves and our guests were made feel very welcome and comfortable. I was really nervous and the staff went out of their way to make me feel at ease. The room where the ceremony was held was bright, airy, cheerful and very nicely decorated which added to the wonderful atmosphere of the occasion. The meal was exceptionally good and all our guests commented on the quality of the food and the huge portions that we received. We had planned on using the larger area for the dancing but following the meal we changed our minds and decided to use the smaller dance floor. This change of plan caused no problems and within minutes the staff had rearranged everything to accommodate us. The evening food was delicious and was served with minimum disruption to a night of terrific fun and dancing. A lot of our guests stayed overnight and again they all commented on the quality of the breakfast and the helpfulness of the staff the following morning. All in all our overall experience with the Tower Hotel was very pleasant and enjoyable. Hi Deirdre, We had such a great day at our wedding , i was greeted at the entrance of the hotel upon my arrival by Patrick and Avril who were asking me how I was feeling and complimenting my dress. They showed me into the ceremony room which took my breath away, It was so beautifully arranged with the red carpet back drop and lights, I was met after the ceremony with a drink my guests enjoyed punch, tea and biscuits before the meal. The ballroom was done up lovely and the meal was plentiful and delicious. All the staff were very attentive and accommodating to all our needs. The William Wallace bedroom suite was gorgeous very spacious and we had a nice gift ready for us in the room. Deirdre, Patrick and their team were absolutely fantastic from start to finish. Deirdre was our first point of contact. We always felt like we were her special customers, always there for us when we needed to discuss any ideas we had. When we first met to discuss the Wedding we knew we had made the right decision. The brochure was well presented and very informative; also great to show our family what we were planning. On arrival Patrick greeted us with red carpet and champagne, our guests were served both alcohol and non-alcohol cocktails on arrival, which I also sampled they were yum. The Ardmore Lounge was set up beautifully and everybody enjoyed a tipple while waiting for the call for dinner. We were called in for dinner and the ballroom was just perfect, it looked amazing. The food and wine were served not one person could fault the menu and each course was cooked to perfection, i made a point of asking friends and family if they enjoyed their meal and received a 5 star reaction from everyone. I cannot praise Patrick and his team for their efforts and friendliness during dinner, you won’t get better, I promise this. After dinner the ballroom was cleaned and set up for the night’s entertainment, we had a band a DJ. We also had some evening food served. Again I my guests were fed until they could eat no more. The bar was also kept going and I didn’t get any complaints about waiting to be served. This is what I hoped for. After we took over the residents bar for a short while me and my wife retreated to our room. The room was perfect, beautifully decorated so comfy. To wrap up we had a fantastic wedding at the Tower Hotel and would highly recommend Deirdre, Patrick and their team. I forgot to mention the night we had our tasting menu in the restaurant, was probably one of the best experiences I’ve had in a restaurant. Go and meet Deirdre and you will not be disappointed. Thanks for an amazing wedding and taking care of our every need.

We just wanted to say a massive thank-you to you, and all the staff at 'The Tower Hotel' for playing a key part in making our wedding the most amazing day imaginable. From our very first meeting, we knew that we were in good hands for what was to be a fantastic day. Every detail of what we wanted and what we dreamed of, nothing was ever a problem and everything was possible. Our tasting meal before the wedding was really when we knew that we had picked our perfect venue. We couldn't believe the attention to detail, the quality and presentation of the food, not to mention the warmth of the staff. Our menu was printed and personalised, which we kept as a memento. On the day, everything came together. From our initial warm greeting, we were directed inside by Patrick with champagne in-hand. He was so inviting, warm and always on hand - should we require anything. Patrick brought us into view the Reception room ahead of our guests. It looked amazing, truly beautiful. From the central floral arrangements, the lighting, the table layout, our wedding cake stand - everything was perfect and both David and I immediately felt at ease with Patrick and knew we were going to have an amazing time. Again - special thanks to all the staff on the day - you were wonderful! I would highly recommend the pre-dinner canapes and prosecco reception. Our Guests really enjoyed them and many have since said that they were a perfect start to a great day. The meal itself was beautiful, everyone enjoyed the quality of the produce and selection on offer. Also a special thank-you for facilitating many guests with special dietary needs. Again the staff were so approachable, friendly and efficient, the service was honestly impeccable, making the entire experience flawless. are still talking about the wedding and how much they enjoyed the meal and thought the staff and venue were perfect!
