It was the best day of our lives and one we will talk about for many years to come. Aine and her team went above and beyond for us. Nothing was of any hassle, even though I had a few things that had to be kept from my husband, surprises. Everything we asked for, we were granted. Our guests raved about the drinks reception, meal and room layout. The food was outstanding, every plate was cleared and the fact that they came round with seconds was a lovely touch. My wife and I got married in the Tower Hotel on 30th May 2024. What an experience! From the very first day we met with Aine, we knew we had chosen the right venue. Nothing was a problem, and there was no stress involved from start to finish. The day itself was absolutely perfect; I can't speak highly enough about the standard of service. And the food was amazing! Our ceremony was also in the Tower, and the room was beautiful. It couldn't have been any better. I cannot recommend the Tower highly enough; it's fantastic! From the beginning of our search for a wedding destination, The Tower Hotel stood out to us. From the beginning, Áine and the team made the process easy and relaxing. Every question and query we had was answered with ease. Our meal tasting was fabulous, and the same delicious meal was delivered on the wedding day. Countless amounts of our guests complimented the meal. We knew that we had made the right choice when we walked into the ballroom before all of our guests on the wedding day, we were amazed with how beautifully decorated it was. Where do we even start, Aíne and her team, from the day we first arrived, were an absolute dream to work with, their attention to detail was mesmerising; no matter how big or small a task or request we had, they accommodated us to the absolute best of their abilities. We honestly could not rate The Tower Hotel highly enough. From start to finish, every single detail was looked after by Áine and her team. Nothing was a problem for them. No matter what we wanted, they made sure it could happen and to the highest standard. We got ready in the hotel on the morning of the wedding, and the head porter, David, was an absolute superstar. He looked after us well and popped his head in to ensure we had everything we needed. The staff that served at the wedding meal were phenomenal. They looked after us and our guests so well, especially elderly guests, getting more comfortable chairs so they could sit at the table more securely and always asking if anyone needed anything else. The manager, Michael, on the night of the wedding, was absolutely outstanding, had a great attitude with us all, and brought so many laughs to the night. The meal was absolutely superb, and everyone was raving about the food afterwards… and still are !! Áine, thank you so much to you and everyone in the tower for making our day more perfect than we could ever imagine. We will be recommending you to everyone!

A definite 5-star review for this hotel. My husband and I married last month and had the reception in the Tower Hotel Waterford. Aine and the team were absolutely fantastic from start to finish. They made everything easy for us and were always more than accommodating our requests. Everyone enjoyed the reception so much and it was all thanks to the staff and setting. Everything was perfect on our special day. I could write a list, but I would be here all day. Aine was outstanding in her support from the minute we booked the Tower hotel to the minute we got married. The communication was amazing, and she was always there whenever I had a question. The day was everything I had wished for & the Tower Hotel took the stress out of planning! The staff on the day were absolutely incredible & we felt so comfortable and welcome. We food we had was a 10/10 so much so that two months later people are still commenting on how perfect all the food was at our wedding. From the very first day we went to meet Aine the wedding planner we could see just how professional and welcoming she was. Over the next year we were invited into every wedding fair and made to feel so special in the build up to our day. Nothing was too much of an issue, we were given great advice and helped at every turn, all we had to do was ask and it was done. We were invited in for the most fabulous tasting meal in the new restaurant with a corner table overlooking the river, the manager on duty came to chat with us and see if we needed anything else and asked us could they do anything more for us. They couldn't have as everything was just fabulous. In the week building towards our special day Aine was on hand as she always was to assist in every way possible, she really took the stress out of our big day. The night before the groom party all stayed at the hotel and had a fabulous evening before the big day. The day itself was fantastic, every staff member from managers on duty to reception staff to all bar and waiting staff were so kind and helpful with the many requests and made sure the day went off without a hitch with the exception of the wedding hitch of course. We had a civil ceremony at the hotel and the room looked great and this was then changed around in a quick and professional manner for our meal and evening reception. The managers on duty that day were with us every step of the way to ensure the day was as easy and enjoyable as possible. The food was great and all the guests said the new menu was delicious and the whole hotel is looking really good after the new renovations. I would highly recommend this hotel and its staff for a wedding. I'm sure there is even things I am forgetting to mention. We have been back for food numerous times since we got married and the staff are always so polite and the food so nice. The service provided was brilliant! The team are amazing at all you do, we cannot thank you enough for being so helpful and so forthcoming in answering any queries we may have had. What can I say I never felt so at ease upon arriving, the staff again were so friendly and went out of their way to ensure that we were given the utmost attention. Everything we had asked for was provided and more, we were very impressed. Our Wedding Reception was my favourite part. It was so magical! I couldn't have asked for more, everything was as I had envisioned it to be and then some! In particular, we would love to just say a massive thank you to Denis, he pulled out all the stops for us and gave us everlasting memories to treasure. He's truly such an asset to your hotel. His demeanor is infectious and we thought him to be wonderful at what he does best. The atmosphere was just electric, all our guests commented on the food saying it was, and I quote, "impeccable" as was the efficiency of the staff. Presentation was second to none, absolutely superb. We had our special day here on 8th August 2018. I would like to thank Àine and Deirdre in events for making my vision come to light, months of planning had really paid off. From the moment we met Patrick we knew The Tower Hotel was for us. He gave us such a fab meet and greet that the following day we booked The Tower Hotel for our wedding. Deirdre, Aine and the team are amazing. We wanted a venue who we could trust to deliver as with two children we didn't have the time to be following up on every little thing. We told them what we wanted and they exceeded our expectations on the day. At the tasting, the waiter made sure we tried a variety of food and wine to ensure we were picking the best selection for us. Everything ran so smoothly on the day and it was such a relaxed atmosphere. The staff were so friendly and efficient. They were always checking to make sure people had enough food and drink. The room was decorated beautifully. I couldn't recommend The Tower Hotel enough. The team are so confident and you can completely trust them to deliver whatever you ask. We never had to chase them once which is what made the whole experience so relaxing. Just a little thank you from Ken and I on the outstanding service we received from everyone on Saturday, we had the best day . The room looked amazing, the food was amazing and guests commented on the efficiency of the service through out dinner, so thanks to all the hard working staff for that. Catherine, Kens mam, was super impressed with the gluten free bread and all the other bits she requested. It was a pleasure doing business with ye, a huge thank you to yourself Aine you welcomed and looked after us from our very first meeting.

I had my wedding in the Tower Hotel Waterford and we had a fantastic time here. All the events team were always there to help. Aine & Deirdre were fantastic the whole way through the planning. We were shown the new Pier 37 bar & restaurant which was ready to be opened, delighted we were the first people to use it for the amazing river views. I left a good few pieces behind me after checking out, thankfully Seamus rang me, he left them all behind reception for me. Id highly recommend this hotel for any occasion as all the staff were amazing.

The newly refurbished Tower Hotel did not disappoint at our wedding on Saturday, 8th July 2017. Indeed, everything went pretty much like well-oiled clockwork. From the very moment that we informed Áine Comerford, (the utterly-superb) Events Manager that we made the decision – after quite a bit of deliberation of various Waterford and Kilkenny venues – to have our reception at the Tower Hotel, the venue engaged with us throughout the planning stages right up to (and after) bringing our post-ceremony celebrations to fruition. Indeed, every request – big and small – was entertained. Everything in relation to the food (and wine) – the preparation, the presentation, the quality, the portions and the (timely) serving of each course – was excellent. ‘Needless to say’, those with specific dietary requirements were earnestly taken care of. Also, it would be remiss of us not to justly mention the following: Seamus O’Carroll (General Manager), Deirdre Byrne (Áine’s co-Events Manager), Patrick Meyler (Banqueting Manager) and all those ‘behind’ the scenes, i.e. reception staff, kitchen staff, waiting staff, etc., etc. The management and staff at the Tower Hotel truly are experts in their field(s).

Overall, we had an excellent day, and everything went to plan. Aine made the booking and planning of the day, an absolute breeze from the start, and she kept in regular contact, even though myself and Gavin were at different sides of the world. When she wasn’t available, there was always other staff available to help throughout the process too. We had a taster meal, a while before the wedding, and the service and food was impeccable, as it was on the day too. Everyone had complemented on the quality of the food on the day, and how efficiently the staff timed the gaps between courses. They also catered to those with food allergies, appropriately too, and they all were happy with the alternative arrangements. The arrival and wedding reception also went according to plan, and both myself and Gavin felt relaxed throughout the day. It was well organised overall, and we were always made aware of what we had to do, in plenty of time, regarding, speeches, the wedding and the evening reception. Our suite was beautiful and we were greeted with a lovely gift on arrival. We also had a wonderful breakfast the next day, so good we stayed on for another two nights. Most of our guests were travelling from abroad, and again they all commented positively on the accommodation and hospitality they received. Many thanks, Michelle and Gavin.

When Aidan and I got engaged, we didn't know what type of wedding we wanted or how many guests we would have, but we knew we wanted our wedding in the tower. From the first appointment my mam and I went treated so well, we knew we had made the correct choice in venue, the team at the tower discussed options with us which covered every budget and every taste. After our first meeting we were emailed a copy of everything we had discussed and provisionally agreed on which was great to read over as wedding planning can get a little blurry, however I knew that at all times Aine and Deirdre were only a call away if we had any further queries. As the wedding edged closer we met with the team to go over numbers and menus, we were blown away by the fabulous transformation the main ballroom had received...and we were delighted to attend the wedding showcase, this a must for anyone who is considering booking their wedding as it gives you a perfect glimpse into how special the Tower will make your day. In the final weeks and days before the wedding we were invited down for our menu tasting, we brought our parents along to so we could include them in the fun and we were all treated like royalty, the excellent restaurant staff explained every detail of the items we were sampling and the wine selection that we would be serving on our big day. The week of the wedding came in so fast and understandably we were getting a little nervous regarding numbers, table plans etc however we were put at ease each and every time we spoke with the team in the Tower, nothing was too much trouble. Our wedding day came and went in a flurry of hugs, kisses, photos with us surrounded by family and friends in a fabulous venue that went above and beyond for each and every person who attended our special day. I couldn't recommend the tower highly enough, the care and attention we received surpassed anything we could have hoped from, the team at the tower can transform wedding dreams into reality.

Both of us are still on a high from the wedding. Personally for me arriving at the Tower Hotel and being greeted by so many genuinely happy staff members faces made my day. My mother actually asked why was there so many people there ha The staff lined the red carpet up the steps of the hotel and I can't express in words how this made me feel without welling up. From the first enquiry I sent to the tower 18 months ago right up until the day of our wedding the professionalism we experienced was second to none. From e mails and phone calls to visits with the wedding planners our every whim was catered for. We had both our ceremony and reception in the Tower hotel and everything went to plan. The hotel staff decorated the ballroom exactly how we wanted, it was breathtaking!!! We were put at ease immediately and treated like royalty. The bar manager Jonas was a pleasure and Patrick took care of our every need on the day. The bar staff and reception staff are to be praised, the dinner was excellent as was the service. I was asked on arrival jokingly by some of the staff if I was nervous and my reply was simply "how could i be nervous when the treatment is like this". We booked the Tower for the next day for our after party and the service yet again was unrivalled. We had food and entertainment catered for and everything was amazing. We also stayed a second night and going from the bridal suite ( which was fab) to a family room wasn't as painfull as we thought ???? it was all flawless. My wife and I got married in the Tower Hotel on the 18TH August 2017. I cannot speak highly enough of the Tower Hotel Waterford, from the moment we first met Deirdre and her team. The booking and planning service was very helpful. The fact we live in the UK could have made this awkward for us, but that could not be further from the truth. Nothing was too much trouble and either Deirdre or Aine were always reachable. We had a couple of sit down meetings with the ladies on different occasions on the run up to the wedding. Our individual preferences and little touches that we wanted were not any hassle and we were made feel very welcome and comfortable from day one. On the day itself the arrival was exceptional as we were welcomed to the hotel by the General Manager and offered a glass of bubbly as soon as we got out of the car! The level of service by the bar and catering staff was top notch, this was a reflection of not just my wife and I, but all the wedding party and guests alike. The wedding reception set up was exactly how Claire had imagined and wanted it to be and the place was immaculate. Recently renovated there was a sense of pride in what the hotel had prepared for us. The food was delicious and again this was reciprocated by the entire wedding party. Vegan & Vegetarian guests were very happy with their options. Second helping for those who wanted was not an issue and everyone was very well looked after. The Honeymoon suite was fantastic, very comfortable and fantastic little touches throughout the room. The breakfast the following morning was, again , delicious and just was needed after such a great night in the residents bar the night before!

We had our wedding reception in the Tower Hotel recently and all I can say it was 100% perfection!! The whole Events team out done themselves!! From the first day we walked into the Tower to view it we were made feel so special and welcome! Aine and Patrick are a massive credit to the hotel their attention to detail is out of this world and made our whole experience so enjoyable and fun with no worries!!! I can't commend this team enough not only did they organise our wedding reception exactly the way we wanted it they treated us like friends!!!
