We both want to thank you all so much for an unforgettable wedding experience, from the first meeting we had with Aine until the wedding weekend, everything was perfect and nothing was a problem. Aine also made sure our son Ben was always included and made him feel very welcome which we were very grateful for. All of our guests especially the guests from Dublin who stayed for the weekend could not speak highly enough about the hotel and staff while they spent the weekend. Everything on the wedding day ran perfect, and all the small details and hard work from all staff didn't go unnoticed, even down to the dinner menu and entrance sign matching and our wedding invitations. The food was absolutely beautiful, our wedding guests are still talking about it. We just wish we could do the weekend all over again and would not change a thing. Thanks again, we look forward to celebrating many more happy occasions in The Tower Hotel.

From the beginning Áine was so accommodating. She was such a great help in the planning of our special day. Any help or questions we needed answered, Áine was always willing to help and went out of her way to make sure we were excited about our wedding. On the day, all the staff were exceptional, nothing was rushed. We had the best time and have been told by guests it's a wedding they'll always remember. The food was delicious and so much variety, plentiful. We felt spoilt when we saw our room, was a shame we only stayed one night. We have advised friends to marry in the Tower Hotel since. My wife and I got married in the Tower Hotel on 30th May 2024. What an experience! From the very first day we met with Aine, we knew we had chosen the right venue. Nothing was a problem, and there was no stress involved from start to finish. The day itself was absolutely perfect; I can't speak highly enough about the standard of service. And the food was amazing! Our ceremony was also in the Tower, and the room was beautiful. It couldn't have been any better. I cannot recommend the Tower highly enough; it's fantastic! Every question and query we had was answered with ease. Our meal tasting was fabulous, and the same delicious meal was delivered on the wedding day. Where do we even start, Aíne and her team, from the day we first arrived, were an absolute dream to work with, their attention to detail was mesmerising; no matter how big or small a task or request we had, they accommodated us to the absolute best of their abilities. We honestly could not rate The Tower Hotel highly enough. From start to finish, every single detail was looked after by Áine and her team. Nothing was a problem for them. No matter what we wanted, they made sure it could happen and to the highest standard. We got ready in the hotel on the morning of the wedding, and the head porter, David, was an absolute superstar. He looked after us well and popped his head in to ensure we had everything we needed. The staff that served at the wedding meal were phenomenal. They looked after us and our guests so well, especially elderly guests, getting more comfortable chairs so they could sit at the table more securely and always asking if anyone needed anything else. The manager, Michael, on the night of the wedding, was absolutely outstanding, had a great attitude with us all, and brought so many laughs to the night. The meal was absolutely superb, and everyone was raving about the food afterwards… and still are !! Áine, thank you so much to you and everyone in the tower for making our day more perfect than we could ever imagine. We will be recommending you to everyone!

A definite 5-star review for this hotel. My husband and I married last month and had the reception in the Tower Hotel Waterford. Aine and the team were absolutely fantastic from start to finish. They made everything easy for us and were always more than accommodating our requests. Everyone enjoyed the reception so much and it was all thanks to the staff and setting. Everything was perfect on our special day. I could write a list, but I would be here all day. Aine was outstanding in her support from the minute we booked the Tower hotel to the minute we got married. The communication was amazing, and she was always there whenever I had a question. The day was everything I had wished for & the Tower Hotel took the stress out of planning! The staff on the day were absolutely incredible & we felt so comfortable and welcome. We food we had was a 10/10 so much so that two months later people are still commenting on how perfect all the food was at our wedding. From the very first day we went to meet Aine the wedding planner we could see just how professional and welcoming she was. Over the next year we were invited into every wedding fair and made to feel so special in the build up to our day. Nothing was too much of an issue, we were given great advice and helped at every turn, all we had to do was ask and it was done. We were invited in for the most fabulous tasting meal in the new restaurant with a corner table overlooking the river, the manager on duty came to chat with us and see if we needed anything else and asked us could they do anything more for us. They couldn't have as everything was just fabulous. In the week building towards our special day Aine was on hand as she always was to assist in every way possible, she really took the stress out of our big day. The night before the groom party all stayed at the hotel and had a fabulous evening before the big day. The day itself was fantastic, every staff member from managers on duty to reception staff to all bar and waiting staff were so kind and helpful with the many requests and made sure the day went off without a hitch with the exception of the wedding hitch of course. We had a civil ceremony at the hotel and the room looked great and this was then changed around in a quick and professional manner for our meal and evening reception. The managers on duty that day were with us every step of the way to ensure the day was as easy and enjoyable as possible. The food was great and all the guests said the new menu was delicious and the whole hotel is looking really good after the new renovations. I would highly recommend this hotel and its staff for a wedding. I'm sure there is even things I am forgetting to mention. We have been back for food numerous times since we got married and the staff are always so polite and the food so nice. The service provided was brilliant! The team are amazing at all you do, we cannot thank you enough for being so helpful and so forthcoming in answering any queries we may have had. What can I say I never felt so at ease upon arriving, the staff again were so friendly and went out of their way to ensure that we were given the utmost attention. Everything we had asked for was provided and more, we were very impressed. Our Wedding Reception was my favourite part. It was so magical! I couldn't have asked for more, everything was as I had envisioned it to be and then some! In particular, we would love to just say a massive thank you to Denis, he pulled out all the stops for us and gave us everlasting memories to treasure. He's truly such an asset to your hotel. His demeanor is infectious and we thought him to be wonderful at what he does best. The atmosphere was just electric, all our guests commented on the food saying it was, and I quote, "impeccable" as was the efficiency of the staff. Presentation was second to none, absolutely superb. The evening reception was very well put together, we couldn't fault a single thing. The food was beautiful, fresh and hot and all enjoyed it. The Bridal Suite is to die for, absolutely beautifully laid out and presented. Any newlyweds would be delighted to spend the night in your suite so comfortable and so contemporary. From the moment we met Patrick we knew The Tower Hotel was for us. He gave us such a fab meet and greet that the following day we booked The Tower Hotel for our wedding. Deirdre, Aine and the team are amazing. We wanted a venue who we could trust to deliver as with two children we didn't have the time to be following up on every little thing. We told them what we wanted and they exceeded our expectations on the day. At the tasting, the waiter made sure we tried a variety of food and wine to ensure we were picking the best selection for us. Everything ran so smoothly on the day and it was such a relaxed atmosphere. The staff were so friendly and efficient. They were always checking to make sure people had enough food and drink. The room was decorated beautifully. I couldn't recommend The Tower Hotel enough. The team are so confident and you can completely trust them to deliver whatever you ask. We never had to chase them once which is what made the whole experience so relaxing. We booked it and they got on with the job in hand which resulted in us having an amazing day surrounded by family and friends without any stress. For that, we can't thank them enough. Just a little thank you from Ken and I on the outstanding service we received from everyone on Saturday, we had the best day . The room looked amazing, the food was amazing and guests commented on the efficiency of the service through out dinner, so thanks to all the hard working staff for that. I had my wedding in the Tower Hotel Waterford and we had a fantastic time here. All the events team were always there to help. Aine & Deirdre were fantastic the whole way through the planning. We were shown the new Pier 37 bar & restaurant which was ready to be opened, delighted we were the first people to use it for the amazing river views. I left a good few pieces behind me after checking out, thankfully Seamus rang me, he left them all behind reception for me. Id highly recommend this hotel for any occasion as all the staff were amazing.

The newly refurbished Tower Hotel did not disappoint at our wedding on Saturday, 8th July 2017. Indeed, everything went pretty much like well-oiled clockwork. From the very moment that we informed Áine Comerford, (the utterly-superb) Events Manager that we made the decision – after quite a bit of deliberation of various Waterford and Kilkenny venues – to have our reception at the Tower Hotel, the venue engaged with us throughout the planning stages right up to (and after) bringing our post-ceremony celebrations to fruition. Indeed, every request – big and small – was entertained. Everything in relation to the food (and wine) – the preparation, the presentation, the quality, the portions and the (timely) serving of each course – was excellent. ‘Needless to say’, those with specific dietary requirements were earnestly taken care of. Also, it would be remiss of us not to justly mention the following: Seamus O’Carroll (General Manager), Deirdre Byrne (Áine’s co-Events Manager), Patrick Meyler (Banqueting Manager) and all those ‘behind’ the scenes, i.e. reception staff, kitchen staff, waiting staff, etc., etc. The management and staff at the Tower Hotel truly are experts in their field(s).
