We had our wedding reception at Ballyroe Lodge and it truly was the most incredible place to celebrate such a special day. From the moment we walked in, the hotel felt so luxurious, and the newly decorated reception and bridal suite made it even more magical. Mike, our wedding coordinator, went above and beyond for us — nothing was ever too much trouble, and he made the entire experience feel so calm and seamless. The food was absolutely fantastic, and so many of our guests are still talking about it. Ballyroe Lodge will always hold such a special place in our hearts. We couldn’t have asked for a more perfect setting for our wedding day.

Hard to believe it's a week on from the most wonderful weekend we spent with ye. We cannot thank Mike, Jennifer, Sarah and the entire team in Ballyroe for everything ye did for us. Ye made the entire weekend everything we had hoped it would be and so much more. The venue, the meal and the service was just amazing. Everything we asked for, ye moved mountains to make it happen. I still can't believe ye dismantled an entire room and transformed it into the most romantic Oasis for our ceremony. I had a friend attending that's vegetarian and was so excited that she had a full vegetarian menu to choose from. Never before has she experienced the thrill.

Jennifer, our August wedding in Ballyroe was everything we could have dreamed of and more. From start to finish, the attention to detail & the service we received was exceptional. Management took the stress out of the whole planning of our wedding. The food was exceptional and our guests and families still talk about our day with such great memories. We have since been regular customers of Ballyroe and will be returning for many years to come. The hotel decor was exactly what we wanted, with many different areas for photos, both inside and outside the hotel. Thank you so much to the Ballyroe Lodge hotel for everything you did to make me and my husbands wedding day so special. I knew when I was picking a venue for my wedding that the Ballyroe Lodge was the perfect choice from the start of the day to the finish. They made everything so perfect and special. The staff were so nice and kind, helping me with every detail of the day. They always double checked everything to make sure everything would go as planned. I’m so happy and thankful I picked the Ballyroe Lodge as my wedding venue. I would always recommend to brides-to-be to book the Ballyroe Lodge for their wedding venue.

From start to finish Patrick and all the staff at Ballyroe couldn't have been more helpful. We had to change our date several times due to covid all while we were living in New Zealand. To organize a wedding from overseas should have been stressful but with the help from the team at Ballyroe it was stress-free and seamless. We had lots of guests staying at the hotel and Jennifer ensured everyone was looked after and accommodated. The food was 10 out of 10 from the platters we ordered on the evening before the wedding, the BBQ we had the day after the wedding and the food on the wedding day was incredible. Our guests are still talking and will continue to about the food and service that Ballyroe provided. Our ceremony was held in the ballroom and the transition from ceremony to dinner to evening dancing was seamless and professional. The staff were so friendly and welcoming to both us and all our guests from the bartenders and waitresses that had the banter and craic with us all it made the weekend . I felt proud that we had picked Ballyroe to get married and we have enjoyed the compliments from all our guests. If you are looking for a wedding venue and are wanting 10 out of 10 in all areas. Location, professional, friendly, organized, food, cleanliness Ballyroe exceeded our expectations and we can't recommend them enough.

Ballyroe Heights Hotel staff and management were absolutely brilliant to Jackie and myself for our wedding. Both in the elongated lead up to the wedding and on the day itself. We had to postpone the wedding twice due to Covid but there was never an issue with changing dates. They were extremely accommodating. The hotel looked immaculate on the day, the food was divine and everybody only had great words to say about the hotel and their stay there. We held our wedding ceremony and reception at Ballyroe Heights Hotel. The ceremony room was decorated beautifully and so was the drinks reception area and the reception room was absolutely beautifully decorated. The meal was outstanding, no faults in any of the dishes that were served. Table plan was supplied and Prosecco and Cocktails supplied at the drinks reception and sweet cart supplied. The breakfast the following morning was beautiful.

I couldn't possibly thank the management and staff of Ballyroe for all their hard work and dedication ensuring that myself and my husband had our dream wedding. Anything we asked for they were more than happy to accommodate and made us feel like celebrities on the day. As with many other weddings covid had an effect on our wedding with our band canceling last min, but the management dealt with it superbly and ensured us all was in hand and we had nothing to worry about. There is so many things I could say about Ballyroe but in a nutshell, I'd recommend Ballyroe to any upcoming engaged couples as a venue for their wedding. After our wedding my uncle even booked his wedding for 2023 at the hotel and my aunt booked her 50th birthday party for July this year so it was safe to say Ballyroe truly impressed the people that attended the wedding!! I wish them all the best for the future and plan to definitely come back for future occasions!

I would highly recommend Ballyroe Heights Hotel as a wedding venue. We had been to many weddings there before we looked into booking our own and we were always impressed by the hotel. After the first meeting with Jonathan we decided to look no further. Honestly we knew we would not get such value for money anywhere else- all the added extras supplied by the hotel were amazing; sweet cart, wedding car, hair and make up the following day, musician at the reception etc lots of extras we didn’t need to worry about. The communication from the hotel over the time leading up to our wedding was first class- so helpful and nothing seemed a hassle.. organising rooms for guests, setting up reception area with wedding bits etc. The menu tasting was unreal.., tasted everything we wanted from the selection and all our feedback was accommodated 100%. Seriously could not fault Jonathan and the team. On the day the hotel were amazing. All the staff were so on the ball and all the guests were treated so well. The hotel was set up beautifully and the view from the front of the hotel is breathtaking. The food was amazing and many guests commented on that to us.. much to our delight. The hotel are so professional in their approach to each wedding making the day a massive success and this is why I would highly highly recommend the Ballyroe Heights hotel for a wedding.

My husband and I got married in July of this year. The moment we started planning our wedding we knew we wanted to have our wedding in Ballyroe. We approached Jonathan early on in our wedding planning with ideas and be went above and beyond in every thing we asked for. Nothing was a problem and it made the process of planning a wedding stress free. We decided to have our ceremony in the ball room, this had never been done before in the hotel and they were happy to take on the challenge. Everything was planned perfectly and they had the room changed over in record time. Much quicker then planned. This made the day run so smoothly and my husband and I had nothing to worry about on the day. Our guests were raving about the day and were complementing the service, staff and even more so the food for weeks afterwards. We can not thank Jonathan, the management team and all the staff for making our wedding day everything we had dreamed of.

We had our wedding reception in the Ballyroe Heights Hotel and we couldn't recommend this hotel highly enough. From day one we were dealing with Patrick and he was an absolute pleasure, nothing was too big or too small and he was so accommodating and helpful, as this was all new to us. On the day itself Patrick & Mike were brilliant and everything ran smoothly the service was amazing and the food served was delicious and is still talked about today.... A wonderful wedding experience from start to finish. No task was too big. Jonathon and staff were amazing. On the day the place looked amazing. The food was amazing and the service was top notch. The guys behind the bar were so organised. There were no complaints for running out of any type of drink. The bridal suite was beautiful. I chose the Ballyroe before any of the hotels in my home town of Killarney. Their price and value for money could not be beaten. I loved every minute of my wedding reception from our arrival to our departure the following day we were treated like royalty. I can only say I had the best day of my life and it was because of having no stress or worries with anything in the Ballyroe Heights Hotel. I just wish I could do it all again. Thank you to everyone who helped make it the day it was.

What a day! Just perfect. We live in England so has to trust the venue lots! Mike was absolutely phenomenal. Always at the end of the phone/email if needed. The day was great. So many guests commented on the food and how amazing it was. Portion sizes were great. The limitless wine was also a winner. Nothing was too much trouble. I would highly recommend!!!!!!

We had our wedding with ye over 11 years ago. We visitef your hotel first and went no further. We booked straight away. We were delighted with how everything turned out. Nothing was too much to ask of ye. We wanted to have fireworks on the night and ye helped make that happen. From the meal to the music to places to take pictures everting was perfect. There are beautiful views from your hotel and we were lucky enough to have been blessed with a beautiful day!

We were married last year in Ballyroe Heights Hotel and it's safe to say that our was a perfect day from start to finish. Every step of the planning and the day itself were executed to perfection and with ease. Jonathan, Mike and the entire staff were so helpful, friendly and professional at all times. No request was too great and their attention to detail was second to none. They made our wedding day prefect and created lifelong memories we'll always cherish. We really can't thank them enough for the wonderful job they did for us and the wonderful experience they made our wedding for us.

What a magnificent Hotel Ballyroe Heights is. From the moment you enter the driveway from the main road this Hotel and it's staff will not disappoint even the most deserning guest. We had our wedding reception here and from the first moment we spoke to the receptionist we were made feel so so special. After that we were introduced to Jonathan Collins and he was the most accomadating Gentleman we had ever met in our lifetime. A Gentleman right to his fingertips. Nothing was a problem to him and he was at our beck and call in all the preparations for our wedding reception, right up until the day after our wedding. It felt like we were the only ones who mattered. The day itself was amazing we were treated like royalty, as were all our guests. The Staff in this Hotel are 5 Star Staff, nothing is a problem to any one of them. The Food in this Hotel is way way more than 5 Star, it is out of this world. Speaking to a lot of our guests after our big day they all without exception praised the Staff and raved about the food. We have dined in this Hotel many times since our wedding and I have to say the quality of the food has never wavered. As for the staff each and everyone of them to this day are so nice and friendly and would go out of their way to make you feel so comfortable. I have not exaggerated in anyway any part of this review. I would highly recommend this Hotel for any occasion. It is without doubt an exceptional Hotel. Diana & Daniel Moriarty.

Really delighted with how our wedding went in Ballyroe Heights. Decided to have our wedding here after having a chat with a member of management - just felt so reassured and listened too, very willing to accommodate requests. The ceremony room has a fabulous view across the countryside and we were lucky to get a good day of weather for it as well. Day went swimmingly and the staff were top notch. The drinks reception perfectly filled the gap between ceremony and dinner and all guests raved about the food served later. Throughout the process of organising our day, management were so helpful and provided great advice and assistance. It really made the whole process go so much more easily than I had anticipated and I would recommend this location to anyone to celebrate one of the most important days of their lives.
