It’s hard to put into words what you expect your wedding day to be but the phenomenal talents of Deirdre, Aisling, and all of the team at Grianán exceeded our expectations immensely! From the moment we booked our wedding in 2022 to saying our I do’s and making the small jaunt to Sponge in March 2024, no request was ever a problem. Everything was organized to a tee by the team at a Grianán, the added surprise before dinner, even when our speeches made our guests wait, the food was as always spectacular. We can not recommend Grianán highly enough because, without their expertise, we wouldn’t have had the day, night, and next morning of our dreams. From when we originally booked our reception to the day of our wedding, Deirdre and Aisling were so helpful and their attention to detail and wedding experience was excellent. Our guests and ourselves were made feel so welcome from arrival. The food was outstanding and many of our guests complimented on this and how friendly and obliging the staff were. There was a lovely and relaxed atmosphere all evening. We cannot recommend An Grianan Hotel highly enough. We had the most wonderful and memorable day. This hotel is stunning, we had our wedding reception here, and what can I say, everything was just perfect from start to finish. Without a doubt the best wedding venue in Ireland! We had heard such good reviews from friends and family before booking our wedding here and we can safely say they were right! The attention to detail and organization of the wedding coordinators did not go unnoticed and the food was perfect. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed their meal and the lovely relaxed atmosphere. From our very first meeting with Aisling and Deirdre we immediately fell in love with An Grianin, and knew that's where we were going to have our wedding. The girls and all the staff at the hotel couldn't have done enough for us from the very beginning, right through to the next morning at check out. It's all in the fine details, from the table plans, centerpieces, lighting backdrops and having so many supplies on hand that left me with minimal things to do in the build up to the wedding. From Barney and Aisling greeting us at the front door on the day to the buzz and atmosphere in the hotel when we arrived, we couldn't have wished for anything more. Then came the food, and we were blown away even more. Everything was to absolute perfection. I couldn't recommend An Grianin enough. Everything ran so smoothly, and the girls were constantly checking in with us. Our guests have complimented the staff and the food on numerous occasions, with a glowing review. The hotel staff went above and beyond for our guests, even ensuring guests who needed to check out early had a full irish breakfast before they left, even though breakfast didn't start yet. Again another simple touch that stood out for us. I cannot recommend An Grianin enough, it speaks volumes that Paudies sister booked their wedding with An Grianin too, for this year to return for another perfect day. From the moment we entered The An Grianan hotel, we were met with the most helpful polite staff. We then met Deirdre who is amazing, she went through all our options providing helpful advice as we planned our special day nothing was too much bother. The wedding day was so much more than I ever dreamed of, the welcome our guests and we received was fantastic, the wedding room was beautiful everything we requested was there, and more. The meal was as lots of my guests stated 'best meal they ever had at a wedding ', lots of food served by amazing staff The staff looked after myself and the guest to the highest standards throughout the day. We had a fantastic experience at An Grainan for our wedding day. We had a civil ceremony with 129 guests it was perfect. The food was phenomenal so fresh and the wine was constantly served all through the meal. Dierdre and her staff went above and beyond making the wedding party feel at ease. We booked the conference room for a space for children to play, it was such a smooth day from start to finish. Highly recommend this venue

The An Grianan Hotel was the most perfect wedding venue. From the stunning room to the outstanding food. The staff were amazing and so helpful throughout the wedding planning. Nothing was ever a problem and requests were accommodated. Deirdre and Aisling were always professional and it was reassuring to know they would manage any minor issues or queries that may come up through the day, so my husband and I wouldn’t have to worry and were able to enjoy ourselves. All of our guests said it was one of the best weddings they’d ever been to! I would recommend to everyone, you won’t be disappointed choosing this venue for your big day.

We booked our wedding with An Grianan Hotel 3 years ago during Covid. From the very first appointment we had with Deirdre she could not have been more helpful. Throughout our whole wedding experience with the hotel any time we would be in contact with the wedding team nothing was a bother to them. The hotel has amazing wedding packages that include everything you need on the day from decorating the reception room to displaying your table plan. The reception room itself is stunning for any event. On the day of our wedding, both Deirdre and Aisling were on duty to help in any way. They were both amazing I can’t thank them enough. They had every single detail covered. Everything ran on time and without a glitch. Our food that was served was amazing we have had so many of our guests boast about how good the food was, I felt that your wedding meal is one of the most important parts of the day for your guests and I never had any doubt that it would be anything less than amazing. We had many friends and family stay for 2-3 days and all of the hotel staff were so welcoming and friendly. Nothing was a hassle to them. From the accommodation staff to food and beverages staff everyone made us feel at home. I would just like to thank Deirdre, Aisling, Shane, Dympna, and Dessie for making our weekend so special. You all went above and beyond to ensure we had the best time. I would also like to thank all Of the staff at An Grianan for everything we had the most amazing few days celebrating with family and friends. None of it would have been possible without the effort put in by all staff. You see on the An Grianan website “Make it special make it An Grianan” and that is a very true word they are incredible at what they do and the service that they give to every person that walks through the doors everyone is so looked after.

What can we say! My husband and I had our full wedding day here in November and it honestly was the best day of our lives! Since then we have had numerous guests approach us and tell us about what a day they had and that it was up their with one of their best weddings! Deirdre & Aisling are both fantastic at their jobs! As are the whole team at An Grianan! From our first communication to our last they were all fantastic! During the booking process and build up to the wedding, Deirdre was superb! Nothing was ever too much hassle for her and she was able to keep us both right on what we should and shouldn't be doing! From picking our menu choices, to our centre pieces even down to the colour of bows for the chairs her assistance was fantastic and much appreciated! Not only that but having them all included in the package was brilliant as it removed any stress or pressures from any external vendors! On the Day, Aisling was exceptional! She made sure that everything ran on time and that anything that was due to happen did! Again nothing was any bother and made us both feel so at ease on our special day with any last minute requests being catered for without a blink of an eye (Chips on the Top Table!) Even making sure all guests got off the grounds in the early hours and into their taxis! A real asset to the An Grianan. Lastly I would like to extend my thanks to the whole team involved, both front and back of house. All guests commented on the quality and quantity of the food and how it was some of the nicest wedding dinners they had had, the 'surprise' provided by the An Grianan, the efficiency of the staff, down to the cleanliness of the venue and the accommodation rooms as well as the friendliness of the housekeeping staff! What a team! Thank You one final time, Paul & Myself look forward to returning for years to come to celebrate different occasions within the An Grianan.

We booked our wedding with Deirdre three years ago. From booking to the run up to the actual day, we could not find a fault. Deirdre and her team made the process of planning and organising so easy and enjoyable and took the stress out of the day. The day from start to finish ran seamlessly and each guest commented on how enjoyable the wedding was from the Christmas decor to friendly, helpful staff to the food being delicious. We couldn’t recommend An Grianan enough!! From the very beginning when we first met Deirdre we knew this was the venue and didn’t need to look any further. Nothing was a bother and everything turned out absolutely perfect! Our package was amazing - Deirdre kept us right through the whole process. Every query we had was answered so quick - their communication with us was brilliant! The day ran so smoothly and this was purely down to Deirdre, Aisling and the whole team! We had absolutely nothing to worry about. The food was 10/10. Our guests could not stop talking about it. The room itself looked absolutely amazing. The team paid attention to every single detail and it blew us away. We genuinely could not have dreamed of a better wedding venue and we are so so glad we chose here. Highly recommend. We don’t even know where to begin. An Grianan was amazing, a really top class wedding venue. Deirdre is incredible at her job as wedding coordinator. She is so organised and on the ball, didn’t miss any details, kept me right and put us completely at ease during the whole process. Deirdre and her team were always so quick and efficient in getting back to emails and no request was ever too big for them. Everything we asked for was greeted with the response “no problem”. The most accommodating and friendly team. They really made our day so magical and made us feel so special from the second we arrived on our wedding day. All of our guests commented on how wonderful and friendly the staff all were. The room was laid out beautifully. We were breath-taken when we walked in and looked around. It was just stunning. The food and drink was just divine…….every single course was delicious, couldn’t fault the food whatsoever. We were all stuffed by the end of our meal and the presentation was impeccable. We were blown away. Attention was paid to every last detail and our big day went off without a hitch thanks to the amazing An Grianan team. We also had the most fantastic babysitter Valerie, provided by the hotel. She was so lovely and great with our 7 month old. We could really relax and enjoy our evening knowing she was in safe and capable hands. We had the best wedding day and could not recommend An Grianan more highly. What can I say about our wedding, by far the best day of both my and my wife's life. From the moment we came to view the venue for the first time we felt straight at home and in fact was booked straight that same day we just knew this was the venue for our special day and Deirdre and her staff were so helpful and made everything flow with ease they are for sure the experts and know how this runs so smoothly and no request was too much hassle. The day flew by and there was not one thing out of place! The room was amazing the hotel centerpieces and linens, seats and amazing circle warm room allowed our guests to enjoy the day without anyone being blocked, etc and the food was one of the best I've had and every guest was left full-bellied and well looked after, the menu had something for everyone and the bride even got her favourite cheesy chip (which was a bonus for sure) The rooms were great and after a night of dancing everyone was ready for bed, we're very much looking forward to breakfast the next morning which again did not disappoint. All in all the An Grianan was an amazing venue that will always hold a special place with my wife and my heart and can not wait to revisit it for years to come. I would be the first to recommend the hotel to any couple looking for a friendly venue that has a very family feel and knows how to run your special day to take all stress away and to allow the bride and groom to enjoy your day. The day flies by and I would recommend any couple to enjoy it take some time for each other and trust that Deirdre and her staff with look after the whole day.

Spoke with Deirdre of An Grianan about having a reception at the hotel and from there she couldn't do enough for us. On arrival we were greeted by staff, the meal was very nice and the bar staff also did their part to make us feel welcome. I would highly recommend An Grianan to anyone as they made our experience that little more special. And the honeymoon suite was extraordinary. An Grianan would be my recommendation to anyone.

We chose to celebrate our wedding at An Grianan Hotel and we are delighted that we did. This is an excellent hotel in a beautiful location with amazing views and within driving distance from several nature reserves including Wild Ireland and Inch Wildlife Reserve. The staff were very friendly and patient helping us organize the day. We invited many people from all around the globe and they all enjoyed their stay. Everyone was impressed with the food on the day and the excellent service, as well as the wonderful breakfast in the cozy old church. We had several guests get back to us to tell us that this was the best and most relaxed wedding that they had ever attended. We all had a great day, I couldn't recommend An Grianan Hotel highly enough.

I could not recommend An Grianan enough - they were absolutely fantastic throughout the whole process of our wedding planning. Nothing was too much trouble, and there was no stress involved from their end (as wedding planning can tend to get a bit stressful!) As for the wedding day itself - wow. The best day from start to finish - even when I was slightly concerned as our ceremony venue was quite a long distance from the reception, there was no pressure at all to get there exactly on time, I would’ve spent the first half of our day worrying in case something else ran over and I was late for the reception - this couldn’t have been further from the case. The staff were absolutely fantastic!! We were fortunate enough to deal with both Deirdre and Aisling, with Aisling being there on the day. Everyone was so friendly and accommodating, not just for myself and husband, but also for all of our guests! The meal was second to none, I cannot even begin to explain the amount of compliments on the food, it was ‘the best food they’ve ever had’, the portions were so generous as well, everyone was well and truly looked after. With my husband being from England, it was so important to me to properly show off an Irish wedding for his guests - even down to the waitress Irish dancing, nobody expected that, it was such a lovely touch and went down so well amongst the guests. Overall, I could not pick out any faults with the day. We were so well looked after, literally waited on hand and foot, and made to feel so special on our big day. A huge thank you once again to Deirdre, Aisling, Barney and all the wonderful staff at An Grianan, you all really made our day a day to remember!

Had our big day with An Grianan, from going to inquire about the venue we knew it was going to be a go to. From meeting Deirdre at the very beginning, she was just something else, nothing was a bother. All we asked she did, she went above and beyond and not forgetting Ashling on the day, she was much the same!! The food was absolutly exceptional all out guests complimented on it for weeks after. If I could do it all over again I'd be back with An Grianan, it's a 5 star for sure. Myself and Emmet were beyond delighted with every detail and everything went with attention to detail at that.
