We had the most amazing day at the An Grianan Hotel for our wedding. They were so accommodating with every request, truly making the day run smoothly. Both Deirdre and Aisling were a pleasure to deal with—they were attentive throughout, from the preparation and champagne arrival to the bridal party introductions, setting up all our personal belongings in the hotel that morning, and even giving us a personal thank you the morning after. It was truly a pleasure to have our wedding here! The wedding package at An Grianan was top-tier, far ahead of any other hotel we considered. Weddings can be expensive, but the hotel's complimentary rooms, candy carts, post boxes, table décor, chair covers, and bows made a big difference. They offer so many décor options and color schemes. The food on our wedding day was next-level. We didn’t hear a single bad review from our 200 guests, and they even offered seconds, so no one went hungry! It’s easy to see the great teamwork and joyful atmosphere at An Grianan Hotel. Every staff member had a smile on their face throughout the day and was kind and helpful to all our guests. We couldn’t thank each of them enough—they truly set the tone for the day. The bar staff were also excellent, quick, and very professional. An Grianan even has an amazing performer who does an Irish dance while the top table is being served dinner, which provided perfect entertainment and was a lovely extra gift from the hotel. From the moment we entered An Grianan to view it I knew it was the perfect venue for us to have our wedding. Deirdre and Aisling could not have done more for us. I have no words on where to start with AnGrianan. From start to finish, nothing I asked for or wanted was a problem. Dee went over and above on everything. The day will be talked about for a very long time. The dinner and the breakfast food were outstanding. The service was unreal and the staff was out of this world. As for Dee ~ this amazing lady should train people how to do a wedding for not a stone was left unturned. It was epic from start to finish and we as Mr & Mrs McDermott cannot thank you all enough. An Grianan Hotel is a beautiful place to get married or have your reception. I went looking at lots of places for our wedding and I loved An Grianan Hotel as soon as I walked in the door. It just got better as they showed us around. Deirdre and the staff were brilliant. I have nothing negative to say and I highly recommend it and it's reasonably priced. I LOVE IT!

Our wedding day was everything we had planned and more - mostly due to the hard work and all the help from Deirdre and Aisling at An Grianan Hotel. The day was perfect, the room was amazing and decorated to perfection! The planning could not have been done in a more stress-free and efficient manner. Deirdre was so helpful on the day and kept us organised and on schedule. Nothing at all was an issue, we even when we bombarded them with last-minute changes and plans. The next day was perfect! Deirdre helped us organise music and food, hair and makeup at her ease. Our guests loved the venue and we have had nothing but positive feedback. Our wedding at An Grianan Hotel was absolutely fantastic, the best day was made perfect by the venue, Deirdre and Aisling. First of all, the reception with the sandwiches, prosecco and shortbread was excellently presented, and having spoken to the guests, they all felt very welcomed. When we were introduced to everyone, it was done very formally where we were given drinks, and made to feel fantastic all day. The food was stunning, I have never had so many people rave about food, especially the soup, most of the guests who came said it was the nicest soup they’d ever had (chicken and mushroom), even though we weren’t aware until at the time, myself and the bride were given double portions which were so filling but great. Everything went perfectly, everyone loved the wedding, the Irish dancing that the hotel provided was a lovely addition, Deirdre and Aisling made sure that we were always well looked after. The honeymoon suite was perfect, so much so that we decided to stay an additional night in it. This is definitely the best venue in Ireland to have a wedding, we couldn’t have asked for anything more.

I can not thank An Grianan enough for all they did. Everything from the decor to the food was perfect. All those lovely personal touches made the day all we wished for. The staff felt like family by the end. Deirdre was always at hand to calm nerves and keep things on time. The hotel is perfect for small kids as we had the place to ourselves and l knew they were safe and happy running about. The rooms were just gorgeous once all setup. I can't say enough positive things about the staff at An Grianan Hotel. Aisling, Deirdre, Siobhan and the team were exceptional on our big day. It can’t be easy managing one of the biggest days in a couple's lives. Doing this to the highest standard every weekend is nothing short of extraordinary. They executed our big day with such flawlessness and made it so easy for Lynn and me. Everything we asked and more was done to the highest standard. The hotel, the staff, the food (especially the beef), and the professionalism were second to none. They also threw in some surprise Entertainment in the form of Irish dancing, which our guests were amazed at. Having our needs placed above all else, made this incredible day unforgettable, not just for us, but also for our guests, as they saw how happy we were. At one stage, we were so busy (and hungry) from the hectic schedule, that they put food and drinks aside for us and took us into the room to give us a moment to ourselves and enjoy the beautiful dining setup. Having this assertiveness and awareness of how much the day means to the couple and being able to put us at ease while carrying out this milestone event is remarkable. This is more than just being good at your job. It's a winning formula that comes down to hard work, dedication and talented people who love their job and are willing to go above and beyond.

We had our wedding day at An Grianan on the 4th of August and what a day! We live in Australia and had worried it might be stressful trying to plan everything so far away but from the moment I contacted Deirdre my worries vanished. I can’t praise her enough for her help and suggestions on her extensive knowledge of vendors and all the planning for the big day. She was always there on the other end of the phone or email any time I had a question big or small and I couldn’t have done it without her. The day went beautifully, both rooms (ceremony & reception) looked amazing and all my guests were praising the hotel all day. The extra little touches, like the postbox and table plan etc were beautiful The meal itself was unbelievable and Aisling and her team were exceptional. I have received so many compliments on the food and service it really was 5 star. Even though we had opted for a small intimate wedding of only 26 guests An Grianan Hotel made us feel that our wedding was not only important to us but to them as well. Everything from the planning before to the final goodbye was more than we could have wished for. The food was amazing and the service was faultless. I have since recommended this hotel to friends family and on social media for any function people want to celebrate. The atmosphere was beautiful and the gardens provided plenty of photo opportunities. There were plenty of nooks that were just perfect for capturing our special day. The honeymoon suite was stunning and we do plan to return in the future, on a night there is no wedding. Overall I could not fault any of the staff and they were always there to help and advise. Deirdre and her team are experts in their field and this showed in the smooth running of our day. We were treated like royalty and one guest in particular who had dietary needs was so well taken care of during her two-night stay. We had our wedding on Saturday 31st of August 2024 in An Grianan Hotel, and what a day that was! From the time we booked An Grianan, we knew we had made the right choice as Deirdre was nothing short of amazing, making it very clear that we were in the hands of an expert who knew exactly the level of detail and attention needed to make it the day of our dreams. The packages are fantastic in the hotel, with great value for money. Everything was taken care of which meant there was very little we had to do ourselves! Every couple knows that one of the most important things guests take away from a wedding is the food. Any couple booking An Grianan for their wedding will have nothing to worry about! All our guests commented that it was the best feed they have had at a wedding, particularly our guests with allergy requirements. A lot of my family are coeliac and anyone who follows the GF diet knows how hard it is to eat somewhere that is inclusive. All GF guests had a great selection of food, from the sandwiches as the reception started, to the dinner and the evening buffet. The hotel also provided a GF fry for breakfast the next morning which was so great to see. The gardens in the hotel are also stunning! We had our photographs taken here which made our day so much easier and gave us more free time to chat to guests. I can honestly say we could not find a fault with An Grianan. The staff are fantastic, nothing seemed a bother to them!! For any couple planning their wedding, I would highly recommend that they consider this venue for their big day.

We honestly could not have wished for a better day! Everything was absolutely perfect and exactly how we envisioned our wedding day to be. Aisling was absolutely amazing all weekend, and nothing was too much trouble to her, her professionalism, kindness and promptness to everything she had done made for such a smooth running day. The babysitter for our son was so lovely and professional and we felt so at ease and able to celebrate with our guests knowing he was safe in the room with her. The atmosphere was amazing, and all the staff made us and the guests feel welcome from the second we landed. The food was perfect, and our guests are still talking about its quality!
