We had our wedding at An Grianan Hotel and, to be honest, we couldn’t have picked better. From the minute we arrived, the room looked unreal — bright, welcoming and set up just the way we wanted it. It felt relaxed but still really special, and it carried that great atmosphere right through the whole day and into the night. From the start, the hotel was very easy to deal with. Having one main point of contact made everything straightforward and stress-free. Any questions we had were sorted quickly, and nothing was ever a bother. On the day itself, everything just flowed. It was all handled quietly in the background so we could get on with enjoying ourselves. The food was lovely (and plenty of it), and we’re still hearing about it from guests. Service was smooth and well organised, and the whole place just felt well run. We felt genuinely well looked after from beginning to end, and that made all the difference. We’d have no hesitation recommending An Grianan to any couple planning their big day.

From the first day we met the wedding coordinators, Deirdre and Aisling, at An Grianan, they were 100% professional and made us feel respected and assured us that all our needs and requirements would be met. All the staff were very professional and ensured that our wedding day was perfect. The food was beautiful and all our guests enjoyed their meals including those with special dietary requirements. Deirdre and Aisling were very thorough and went through every aspect of the wedding plan with us before the big day. They answered all our questions and were available to answer questions on the run up to the wedding. We highly recommend An Grianan as a wedding venue. All feedback and comments from our guests were positive about the food, the hospitality and the appearance of the hotel. This made it a very positive experience for us as a couple.

Our day was perfect from start to finish, all thanks to the An Grianan team! They really took the stress out of the day for us. Everyone raved about the food and service, even now, over a year later some of my family have said it was the best wedding venue they had ever been to. The team was a dream to work with beforehand. Breakfast the next morning was just as impressive, with a fantastic choice, fresh ingredients, and top-quality cooking that set everyone up for the journey home. An Grianan was the one and only venue we looked at. I knew I wanted to have our wedding here from the very start, from the first meeting to the morning after our big day, Deirdre and the staff at An Grianan made my special day absolutely perfect, with no doubt I would reccomend this hotel to anyone starting their wedding planning journey. Everything was efficient and on time and the day ran to a perfect schedule. We wish we could do it all over again!

I couldn’t recommend Deirdre and Aisling enough, from the planning process to the wedding day, they were beyond helpful and nothing was too much for them. The venue was exceptional, a dream come true, even the photographs in the hotel grounds are amazing! We would do it all over again in a heart beat, even our wedding guests complimented how amazing the food was.

We can't fault the service we received at the hotel. From the second we spoke with Deirdre, we knew we wanted to have our wedding at An Grianan. From answering our questions to providing us with advice on things we hadn't even considered, Deirdre was a massive help on the lead up to our wedding day and during the day itself from the minute we arrived. Anything we asked for we got with a smile. The service, staff, the rooms, the food and the surrounding gardens were all flawless. I cannot fault our experience from start to finish. Words can't describe how amazing the staff at An Grianan were, especially Deirdre and Aisling. We knew An Grianan was the exact venue we were looking for to host our wedding as the customer service we received from the initial consultation right up to the wedding and even checking out was second to none. Staff were so unbelievably attentive, no request was too big or too small. Our guests could not believe the amount of food they were served but also the standard and care that was given. There were a number of packages that we could have chosen from which would suit a range of budgets. An Grianan Hotel was our wedding venue and it was absolutely exceptional! Deirdre and the team went above and beyond in every possible way — from the stunning setup to the impeccable service, everything was flawless. Every single second felt magical and perfectly executed. We couldn’t have asked for a more beautiful or memorable experience! When getting married, most of the time it is your first time and you do not know where to begin and from the first day we went to view the hotel and met with Deirdre, it was just easy! Easy is the only way I can describe it, nothing was overwhelming and no question was unanswered (no matter how silly I felt). The hotel itself is exceptional, it is clean, staff are amazing and just a really well run hotel.

My new husband and I could not recommend the An Grianan enough. Everybody made our wedding day as special and personal as they could. Deirdre, the wedding coordinator was extremely helpful and amazing at her job. She made the whole process so calming and easy going. We didn’t have any stress or worries for the big day. The food and service on the day was out of this world, we have had so many compliments and feedback from our guests saying how much they loved it and how unreal the food was. We would encourage everybody to book this venue for their wedding or any occasion, and you will not be disappointed.

An Grianan is the definition of absolute perfection. I could not have asked for more. The venue was stunning, the service flawless and the food was outstanding! The round ballroom is so beautiful. Deirdre is amazing to work with. So easy to talk to and makes your vision become reality. I made a lot of the decor myself and was allowed to bring it all the day before and store it at the hotel for the staff to set up for us. Every item was recorded and checked in. It was set up beautifully! and then all carefully packed away for me to take home the next day. The whole reception ran seamlessly. I did not have to worry or think about anything. It really is the perfect venue.

We couldn't thank An Grianán enough for such a perfect day. The wedding coordinators were so lovely and easy to work with from start to finish. They were always helpful, answered all our questions and helped to make sure we had the day we both wanted. The day itself went flawlessly. Aisling, the wedding co-ordinator on duty that day, made sure everything flowed and kept everyone right. The venue was beautiful, made even more lovely by the Christmas decorations. The staff couldn't have been more helpful either. Nothing was too much trouble. The guests have all commented on the politeness of the staff as well as how lovely the food was. We're both so happy with our choice of venue and don't have a single complaint!

This hotel made our wedding magical. If I could rate it 100 stars, I would. I had designed my own decor, and they made my vision come to life. They helped us put the whole room together and assisted with any little detail I needed help with. Aisling, my wedding coordinator, was honestly amazing. I never once felt stressed as she had everything under control and accommodated me in everything we needed for the day. Charmaine at the front desk was fantastic. We had our two children there, and she was so helpful through the evening, getting me the little things I needed for them. The venue itself is just beautiful; we had our ceremony there also, and the layout was just perfect. The round room is such a feature in itself. My dance floor never emptied all night, and I think the positioning of the dance floor in the centre of the circular room really gets the crowd moving. All the staff were so friendly and helpful, and all my guests commented on how good the food was for our meal. It really was a magical day, and I'm so happy we chose it for our venue; it made our day absolutely perfect!!

Simply perfect from start to finish. The staff are extremely helpful and pleasant, should it be dropping things off in the lead up or welcoming guests on the day. The way the room was set up for our ceremony just blew us both away, and the transformation for the reception was every bit as good. The gardens and surrounding grounds are perfect for photos. The service and food were top class, and everyone we spoke to commented on how good it was and the fantastic dancing waitress. This is the perfect venue, and Deirdre, Aisling, and the team will leave no stone unturned to make your day as special as the entire An Grianan team make you feel.

We had the best day, and a lot of it was down to the team in An Grianan. Nothing was a bother, and Deirdre suggested so many great ideas to us in the lead-up to the wedding. It's telling that she is so experienced in helping couples plan their special day. The food on the day was amazing, with guests even being offered extras. For me, one of the main things at a wedding is great food, and we couldn't have asked for any better. I couldn't recommend An Grianan enough. For those living in Derry, it's in an excellent spot, not too far away but also far away enough to feel like you are having a unique experience. We were able to avail of Grianan fort for some of our wedding photos, which have turned out amazing.

First of all, Deirdre is amazing! She made everything so easy, and we never had to worry about anything knowing Deirdre was there. Communication from start to finish was great. Aisling was also fantastic, so friendly and accommodating. They both made our day so special and flawless. The hotel itself, from the reception to the rooms and the food, we couldn't fault anything. What can I say about An Grianan Hotel! We had an absolute dream wedding here. Deirdre was an absolute pleasure to deal with during the entire process from first booking till we checked out the day after the wedding. Any questions we had were no issue. The food was absolutely amazing. So many of our guests commented on the food - the portion sizes were huge. There was definitely no dearth of anyone going hungry. The function room is just stunning. The circular room is so lovely and beautiful. Even a big wedding feels quite intimate because nobody feels like they are shoved in a corner out of the way. We got married during Storm Amy. There was a red weather warning in place, and the electricity went out. The generator had some issues, but everything was dealt with so professionally. It didn't cause any disruptions to our day at all. So many of our guests commented on the hotel staff - how lovely and professional they were, but also great with kids. They really took the time to speak to kids at their level rather than talking down to them as so many adults can do. All our props and extra bits (memory table, glow sticks, etc) were dealt with very professionally and organised. Everything was checked in and listed when we dropped them off at the hotel, and everything was cleared up and boxed again the morning after. We didn't have to worry about anything going missing or being forgotten. We really just had the most amazing day, and I couldn't imagine going anywhere else for our wedding day.
