Don't look anywhere else to get married!! The Ballygarry is quite simply the most exceptional hotel I've ever been to and we were so incredibly lucky that we chose it for our wedding reception. Thys helped us from start to finish. Nothing was too much hassle and he always helped put us at ease and feel relaxed. On the day itself, he was always there to assist us, helping me in and out the wedding car, keeping our drinks topped up, making sure friends and family were happy, pulling out my chair at dinner and ensuring everything was running smoothly. No job was too big or small and it didn't go unnoticed by any of the wedding guests- he is an exceptional man with an exceptional team of staff. The service of food and drinks was excellent. The meal itself was unbelievable...people are still raving about how good the food was!! Me and my husband are from London and chose the Ballygarry after we stayed there when attending a friends wedding at Ballyseede Castle. We fell in love with it and, after the engagement, it was top of our list. A date became available and we didn't look back. The Ballygarry has managed to get the perfect balance of running a military operation to make sure everything goes right on your wedding day, but still making you feel like it is the MOST important wedding they have ever had AND keeping a warm, cosy and friendly atmosphere. They had suggestions for every element of the wedding from florists to bands to photographers and I completely trusted their contacts, which paid off. Every person that helped out on the day was fantastic. I can safely say that, thanks to the Ballygarry and ALL its staff, we had the most perfect wedding weekend we could have ever asked for and I wish I could do it all over again!!

I couldn’t praise or recommend the BallyGarry House Hotel highly enough. Their attention to detail, professionalism, efficiency and service is exceptional from the beginning of our wedding journey to the very end. As we were planning our wedding from the Middle East, we were overwhelmed by the kindness and support we received from our coordinator Thys. He was so generous with his time, as well as accommodating with our limited schedule and he always did everything in his power to make the whole experience stress free and truly magical on the day. The BallyGarry have this wonderful ability to make a bride and groom feel like they are very special and are given the warmest welcome every time they enter their door. Their staff in every department are impeccable, highly trained, enthusiastic and are very competent in their roles. The food was delicious and served to restaurant quality, to this day we are still getting compliments from guests about the amazing dinner they received. It was hands down the best day of our lives and we would do it all over again in a heartbeat. We are already looking forward to going back to the BallyGarry for our first anniversary to relive our fabulous experience.

I cannot say enough about Ballygarry House Hotel. We chose our venue because we loved the banquet room and surrounding gardens. We could not fault the food, the main courses were exceptional, steak, seabass, turkey and ham, our guests raved about it. The service was amazing and the staff could not do enough for the bridal party and guests. We could do what we wanted with colours and flowers and nothing was a problem. The day went so smoothly and the beautiful breakfast the following morning in Restaurant 58 was full of laughter and stories from the previous evenings events.

My wife and I held our reception at Ballygarry House in June 2018. From start to finish we could not have been better looked after by Tadhg, Padraig and the team. Everything in the run up and on the day ran so smoothly that we did not have a moments worry. At Ballygarry you will not just be a wedding customer, you will be a customer for life.

In November 2015 my fiancé proposed to me on Banna strand in Kerry. We were staying in Ballygarry house hotel. After those two nights in Ballygarry, there was no way I was getting married anywhere else. It didn't matter that we lived in Sligo and our friends and family mostly hailed from the North West, I knew no other venue would provide the 5 star treatment with the personal touch. We decided on a destination wedding which would provide us with a 3 day wedding event in Ballygarry. For the year and a half leading up to our big day, our family continuously questioned, 'Why Tralee?, why so far? We promised that they would understand when they got there. Organising the wedding from afar was never a problem as Thys, Elaine and Áine were always at hand to answer any questions that I had. We arrived two days before our wedding with cars brimmed with boxes and our first port of call was to the hotel. We entered the hotel with the intention of rolling up our sleeves and getting stuck into organizing where everything would go and how it would look. Thys( the best wedding planner in Ireland) met us and put us at ease. He was here to co-ordinate anything we wanted and he wanted us to relax. So thats what we spent the days before our wedding doing, relaxing, laughing and being able to meet our guests as they arrived. Our wedding in Ballygarry was fabulous from start to finish, Padráig and Thys were on hand to bring me to my wedding car, the small touches of having water in the car for us were noted and more of these personal touches were present throughout the weekend. Everything ran like clockwork and to this day we still get comments on the quality of the food, service and the beautiful surroundings of the hotel! The next day BBQ completely blew us out of the water and left everybody relaxed and content. Leaving the hotel after our wedding, my dad turned to me and said, 'Now I know why it had to be Tralee, Balllygarry House Hotel is a hotel like no other.'

Myself and my partner chose the Ballygarry House Hotel for our wedding reception which happened last August. We originally chose it simply because we adored the hotel itself, dropping in for dinner or to use the lovely spa. But looking back over the whole experience I can safely say there was no other choice that would come close to the superb treatment we received. From the very start, Cathal was my go-to man. He has a wonderful way of understanding what every couple wants from their big day. To offering spectacular alternatives for desserts (gluten-free), to keeping my poor father calm and coaching him before his speech! I simply cannot speak highly enough of him. Every time I picked up the phone to query something small (e.g. a stand to hold a signing picture frame) he took care of it instantly. He gave me wonderful advice about saying a few words of my own during the speeches which I took and it was one of the best things I did. Once you reach the reception on the day Cathal and Padraig then guide you to photos, cutting cake etc. and make sure you're comfortable and happy as well as getting all the boxes ticked that you need to before you sit and relax. This level of professionalism and care does not stop with Cathal and Padraig. We were treated like Kings and Queens the entire day by every member of staff. They simply cannot do enough for you to make sure everything goes perfectly. Regarding the food, we still get compliments from friends and family to this day about the exquisite meal that was served. In my opinion, it would be extremely difficult to find any other hotel that serves the same top quality and top class courses that we received. I cannot say enough about the Ballygarry; between the quality of care, service, food and their incredible attention to detail. We have fantastic memories of our day and highly recommend it. For us, Ballygarry is still the only choice!

From start to finish the Ballygarry House Hotel and Spa were a pleasure to deal with when planning our wedding. They gave us advice on booking bands, photographers, cash and carry's etc. Even suppplied names and suggestions. They went through every detail with us. Putting us at ease with all the planning. It was so reasuring as it can be a bit overwhelming planning a wedding. Thys was available anytime to go through everything. Even up until the day before I had to make changes to seating plans due to last minute cancellations and this was never an issue. Our wedding day was perfect, from the time we arrived to when we sat down for dinner. They looked after everything. We were fortunate enough to have a sunny day so our drinks reception was outside in their beautiful gardens. The food for the meal was amazing. Alot of our guests commented on the service and the quality of the food. Many even said it was the best wedding they had attended. We even had our after party the following evening in the Pavillon in the Ballygarry House. We arranged a barbecue. This surpassed our expectations. The selection of food was amazing and the quality. I would highly recommend having your after party in the Pavillon. We cannot thank the staff of the Ballygarry House Hotel for making our wedding day perfect. We have fantastic memories of our day. I would highly recommend the Ballygarry House Hotel for your wedding reception. It will exceed all your expectations.

The standard of service from the management and all the staff was excellent in the lead up to our wedding and more importantly on the day of our wedding and the day after. They made everything so easy for us when planning our wedding and we knew from the minute we booked our reception with them we had nothing to worry about. The Ballygarry is such a beautiful place for a wedding from the beautiful gardens which you can take photos in, to the lovely setting in the pavilion for the drinks reception for when your guests arrive and we were lucky enough to have it outside. The meal was outstanding on the day and our guests are still talking about how good it was and what amazed them most was how everyone received their meal on the table at the exact same time. Both myself and my new hubby could not have picked a better wedding venue! Our wedding took place on 31/12/17 New Years Eve and was a very glitzy affair! Our wedding manager was Padraig and from the our first meeting with him nothing was a problem. We had a lot of details and personal touches and Padraig endeavoured to make everything that bit more special. The Hotel has always had such a homely feel even when dining in the Brasserie the staff make you feel like you are part of the family by always greeting with a friendly 'Hello'. Our wedding day was no exception to this, the staff and management catered to our every need going above and beyond the call of duty! My bridal party and family were treated like V.I.P's, we did not have to request anything. Our guests are still commenting on the amazing food and the impeccable service. My husband and I were delighted and could not have asked for more. I really never worried about the hotel during the wedding preparations I had 100% trust in them and their reputation.Thanks Ballygarry House Hotel and Spa for making our day so amazing❤️

We had our boutique wedding at Ballygarry House on the 2nd of January 2018. From the very beginning of planning our wedding, Ballygarry House were fantastic to work with. They went above and beyond with their support. They took all the stress of organising a wedding from Australia. They were all super responsive with emails and were always punctual when a phone call was scheduled. I leaned on them alot for guidance with layout and structure of the day. They always had answers to my many many questions. We felt they truely cared about our big day as much as we did. Attention to detail was simply perfection on the day. The layout of the room and decor was so glamorous. Service was impeccable and the tailor made package was everything we wished it would be. It was truly a magical day, thanks to the professional and hardworking team at Ballygarry House.

What can I say about this amazing hotel ... No words can describe the service and guidance you get here from the first visit ... The attention to detail on the wedding day is second to none and the management and staff cannot do enough. The meal was top class and people are still talking about it. Even though they see weddings every weekend, you still feel like your the only bride to ever got married in Ballygarry. We dealt a lot with Thys and he was just so good to us xxx I always told my now husband that he would go before the venue would go so that says it all for me this hotel 10 /10.

We had our wedding here back in March 2018 and the day couldn't go any better. Ballygarry House Hotel are outstanding at weddings, all the staff are so professional at their roles, they really know their stuff when it comes to weddings. From the service to the staff it was all was superb! Food was excellent also, all our guests raved about it for weeks after and still do. We also had our second day in Ballygarry House Hotel, we had a BBQ and the food and service was just as good. Was brilliant just to chill out and enjoy the second day with our close family and friends. Couldn't recommend Ballygarry House Hotel enough for a wedding! We got married at the Ballygarry on the 7th of April and what a day it was. We could not thank all the staff here enough. From the first day we went about organising our wedding right up to the day we got married we were always greeted with a warm welcome and nothing we asked of them was a problem. A special thank you to Thys who was always at hand to help us in any way he could. We could not praise the Ballygarry enough for such a memorable day they gave us and ensured everything went seamlessly. The professionalism shone through all day and everyone praised them for the fabulous meal they provided us with. Its a must see venue for any future bride and groom.

I do not know where to begin with my review of Ballygarry House Hotel as I have so many positive things to say! Ballygarry House Hotel is an absolute gem! My husband and I had our Wedding reception at Ballygarry on the 4th of November 2017 and to say it was perfect is an understatement! It is a place not many of our family members or friends had been before and they were highly impressed by the beautiful venue, food, staff, gardens and service! Padraig, Michelle and all the staff were extremely helpful in every way, before and on our Wedding Day! They see things that no other hotel would! Padraig and all the staff are brilliant at what they do, they truly go that extra mile. We got fantastic advice from Padraig and his team, and we are forever grateful. We cannot recommend Ballygarry highly enough and we are looking forward to our next trip there!

By far the best wedding venue that Kerry has to offer. The staff in Ballygarry house hotel go above and beyond to help and give honest advice on everything. The venue itself is amazing, beautiful gardens for photos (I’d mine done in the grounds) fab by the way! Fine space inside, the place decorated how you want it and the food speaks for its self. We had great compliments on by far the best day of our lives with the help of the Ballygarry house staff.

We held our wedding in the Ballygarry House Hotel on the 20th January 2018. During the initial booking stage and subsequent planing of the big event all of the management and staff at the Ballygarry went out of their way to be as helpful as possible to us and answered every query we had (they even answered questions that we had not come up with yet!!) They gave us details for possible music and DJ options and were extremely helpful with regard to menu planning with a wide variety of choices available. As it was a big wedding we were afraid of even thinking of the seating plan but once the inital draft was done Tadgh at the hotel did a review and offer any advice necessary. They made the whole seating plan process as stress free as possible. On the day of the wedding. We had a guest who arrived and was not on the seating plan due to illness in the days before. The hotel were ahead of the game and had it dealt with this by including the guest before I (the bride) even met the guest!! All the guests loved the food and the speed at which the food was distributed. Even during the speeches there was management there to offer little bits of advice if needed. We would highly recommend the Ballygarry House Hotel as an excellent wedding venue, for us they were the best out there!! Thanks to all at the hotel for all your hard work!!

We had a wonderful experience with Ballygarry House from start to finish. Their attention to detail, and the warm pleasant demeanour of all their staff made any request feel like it was never an issue. They reply to all queries with incredible speed and precision and offer every effort and will they can to make your day a success. We cannot speak highly enough of what was a great performance by the Hotel and very good value for money.

We would just like to thank everyone at Ballygarry House for doing such a great job leading up to and on the day of our wedding. Thys and the team were fantastic. They always made us feel at ease and that everything was under control from the moment we stepped inside the door when looking at wedding venues. We have had many comments from guests that the food was amazing and that the staff were very friendly and helpful on the day. A couple of things that were memorable from our experience at Ballygarry were, my Mum mentioned that on the day the members of staff who were serving the top table knew everyone by name!, the food was served literally within minutes of us taking our seats, the arrangements with the bar staff for closing/opening the bar was fantastic and the next morning the service at breakfast was so lovely. The girls working on the morning were so friendly and lovely, it was like they were part of the wedding chatting to us and the guests. Thank you again!

Ciaran and I cannot recommend Ballygarry House Hotel in Tralee highly enough. We had the best 2 days of our lives celebrating our wedding there. I say two days because we celebrated the day after our wedding with a BBQ in the Pavillion also, and it was equally as enjoyable as the fantastic reception the day of the wedding. The hotel staff were extremely professional and attentive. We really felt like the guests of honour but our family members and guests were also afforded this royal treatment. All of this attention to detail and professionalism allowed both Ciaran and myself to relax and enjoy every moment of the celebrations. They even decorated the venue with some decorations and pictures that we had brought along to give the reception room a personal touch. The food, atmosphere, decor, efficiency and service were all flawless. Our wedding coordinator, Thys Vogel, was fantastic to deal with throughout our planning and on the days of the wedding. If you're thinking about booking a wedding venue then we would endorse Ballygarry unreservedly, a superbly run hotel that strives for perfection!
