From start to finish, we wanted for nothing, Sean and Louise and their staff went above and beyond their call of duty, from the food to the waiting service, the facilities, and the band, excellent. Where do we start? From the beginning of our wedding plans, we knew we wanted the set theatre at Langtons Hotel due to having a small wedding and we just knew this would be the perfect venue for us to keep that intimate feeling. Well it didn't disappoint. Everything was excellent such as the service, attention to detail, friendly staff, Sean, Louise, the list goes on. If you want a wedding venue with guaranteed good food and fast service well then this is the place for you. Our meal was carried out at top service and within 2 hours. We couldn't have asked for more as this is what we really wanted. We had kids at the wedding so therefore a long meal was just a no go. Plates were cleared, staff were attentive. We honestly couldn't fault anyone. Sean assigned Stephen to look after us from when we arrived and he was excellent. Anything we asked he performed. All the items we brought to Langtons the night before the wedding were all perfectly placed and not one thing was wrong. We loved this, as we didn't have to worry about anything as it was already done. Honestly, hats off to the team at Langtons. We have been to a lot of weddings but the best place for service and friendly staff has to be Langtons. Not because we got married here, it's just an excellent venue in general. We also love to go here for meals as you are always guaranteed good food. We would love to relive the day again and if we did we would not change a thing. Thank you again Sean, Louise and all the staff who looked after us on our wedding day.

Where to even begin. I worked as a wedding coordinator for several years in the US, regularly communicating and arranging logistics with venues all over the country. I mean it whole heartedly when I say that absolutely NONE of them came even remotely close to the level of service, professionalism and overall kindness that the staff and venue manager, Sean, exude on a daily basis at the Langtons Hotel. Because we were planning internationally for 200+ Americans traveling to Kilkenny, we had A LOT of special requests, questions, needs, changes, you name it and Langtons met ALL of them. I kid you not, we were adding to the dinner and drinks menu three days out from the wedding itself and their team made the additions with a smile on their faces. They are incredibly warm and never make you feel anything but welcomed. Over the course of our year of planning, Sean and the team checked in with us frequently, ensuring that we knew his calendar was always up to date and he would gladly chat with us anytime. During the wedding weekend and day, we used almost every single room at the hotel and were never ever disappointed by how prepared and well setup each space was ahead of time. It was truly remarkable. We shipped so many boxes to Sean ahead of time that it filled his entire office, and he never once told us to hold off or stop sending them. He is patient, always kind, and maintains the best sense of humor about everything. We will always hold him and the Langtons Hotel in a very special place in our hearts. If you are considering the Langtons and they have your date available, book it immediately! You will NOT regret it!

Sean and Louise could not have done more for us in the run up to and on the day itself. From our first meeting with Sean I knew we were in safe hands! I could not recommend all the team at Langtons more highly. Each member of staff was professional beyond belief. Nothing was too much trouble and we felt like absolute VIPs on the day! The knowledge of the team is invaluable and really helped in the planning of our day. Langtons truly made our wedding day so special, alleviated any nerves and concerns and were an absolute dream to deal with. We are just sad we can’t do it all again! Every single one of our guests raved about the food, the decor, ambience and the wonderful service received. Thank you so much to you all for making it such a fantastic day.

We had our small wedding here in August. What can we say, from the minute we booked our wedding, the way we were treated was just amazing. It didn't matter that our wedding party was so small, the venue is beautiful, the staff are so, so friendly and anything they can do to make it easier for you, they will. Nothing is too much. Sean and Louise definitely made the day. Everything had so much detail and planning from them, always in touch throughout the year before our wedding, making sure everything was going to plan, or if we needed any help with anything at all. Langtons is first class in every aspect. It wont be our last visit there just because our wedding is over. Thanks guys, each and every one of you are first class, ye should be so proud of how ye make people so happy.

Couldn't recommend Sean & Langtons enough. Everything from the minute we met Sean in 2021 to our big day in 2023 was seamless. The food was amazing, service second to none, venue spectacular and whole experience as a Bride and Groom faultless. Guests are raving about our day and I've had countless people mention in particular the venue and the food. We had a brilliant wedding day, as did our guests, and we owe a huge part of that to Sean & the whole team at Langtons. We've already booked a stay for our one year anniversary.

We had both our wedding ceremony and reception in Langtons and it was a perfect, magical day for us and our families. We live in the UK and were worried about organising a wedding from a different country but from the beginning, the whole team at Langtons made it as easy and pleasant as possible. Every little detail was taken care of, communication within the team and with us was excellent at all times and we had complete trust and confidence that our day would run smoothly. Sean and Louise were always available for queries and advice and their warmth, humour, calmness and professionalism was greatly appreciated by us. All of our guests were highly impressed by the accommodation, food and service they experienced in Langtons. We have so many amazing memories from our wedding day that we will cherish forever, we are truly grateful to everyone.

About 8 months ago, I sat down with Louise to see if we could have our dream day in the venue that was always top of the list and from that moment on we knew we were in the best hands. Sean and Louise were a dream to deal with over the months of planning and answered every question I had so fast and I always felt assured. They were so accommodating to anything we wanted and took so much of the stress out, I got a lot of comments over the months on the run up to the wedding about how relaxed I was for a bride to be and I would always tell them it's because of the venue and the team being so great. I always felt I had nothing to worry about and nothing was too much trouble, we had our wedding 3 weeks ago and we are still getting compliments on the beautiful venue, the relaxed atmosphere and the amazing food. We chose to have our ceremony in the set and it was magical, we stayed there for the entire day and the transition from ceremony to dinner, then dinner to dancing was absolutely seamless. We couldn't have hoped for better and wouldn't change a thing. Couldn't recommend the venue or the team more highly and all the staff on the night were brilliant. You won't be better looked after anywhere else. Thanks again to Sean, Louise and the entire Langtons team, you really are the best in the business at what ye do and thank you for giving us a day we'll never forget.

Myself and partner Vinny got married at Langtons at the end of July. We had our ceremony, reception, whole lot there. Langtons as a whole, were absolutely fantastic from start to finish. Everyone working there are wonderful. The food, if I could give 10+ stars I would, just perfect. The catering top notch, so absolutely wonderful. We had our wedding in the Set, they had the place looking stunning, so stunning, between the ceremony, meal and music, each time it looked like a different room, just kept getting better.

Sean and Louise were absolutely amazing. Everything went smoothly and I never felt under pressure with either of them. The whole experience with the hotel was second to none and it made our day so special. I felt confident contacting them any time I had any questions. From the moment we decided to go with Langtons I knew we had the right choice. I couldn't thank them all enough.

Sean was incredibly kind and helpful throughout the entire wedding day planning process. We appreciated that he checked in on us and even greeted us on our arrival at Langtons on the wedding day. The entire day was perfect, and everyone was very gracious and caring. We are so grateful for everyone at Langton's for making our day so enjoyable, memorable and fun! Thank you all !!

We cannot recommend Langtons highly enough. We celebrated our wedding there on the 16th June 2023, and the day was fantastic from start to finish. Sean and Louise were so accommodating and helpful and made the booking process easy and relaxed. Always willing to help with advise or accommodate a request. Lots of our guests commented on the venue, with all the different nooks and crannies, the food was top quality and the service was brilliant. A massive thank you again to Sean and his team.

Langtons was excellent from start to finish. Sean and Louise, the wedding coordinators could not have been anymore helpful. They answered all of my queries so promptly and were a dream to deal with. We had our ceremony in the Set Theatre and it was so intimate and special. I especially loved the Ballroom as it has such a modern vibe! We had our reception drinks outside as the weather was good and our guests loved it. Food was also incredible! Could not recommend Langtons anymore.

What can we say! From the day we booked our first viewing of Langtons Hotel with Sean back in October 2021, we have been treated with the utmost respect and care from the team in Langtons. This is a truly special venue where nothing was a problem! Sean and Louise are amazing and with their support and professionalism our Wedding on June 10th 2023 went off without a hitch and was flawless! The staff, the hotel, the food everything was perfect. Sean and Louise are honestly amazing from the first day we went to see Langtons Hotel and met Sean, they couldn't of done enough for us. Our wedding date changed unexpectedly with very little notice and the team at Langtons Hotel couldn't have handled the situation with more care and understanding if they tried. They were very accommodating in all aspects to both us and our guests at the time, they were so truly kind, and also very accommodating when it came to us choosing another date and nothing was too much hassle. The venue is also absolutely stunning and the food is always amazing, such a great team and great hotel for any event.

We're so grateful for Sean and Louise for the work they put in to create such a special day for our friends, family and us. Nothing was ever a problem, the food was exceptional, the ease of booking and a lot of our vendors had a great relationship with Langtons which made the whole thing so smooth. Everyone commented on how relaxed the wedding was and the late bar contributed to people saying it was the best wedding they were ever at! Honestly couldn't recommend Langtons for a wedding enough. I seriously cannot say how perfect Langtons was as a venue, as a partner in planning our wedding, and the amazing staff. I had a friend tell me a few days early on to expect something to go wrong, it happens in every wedding and thanks to Sean, Louise and their team, everything went seamlessly and our vision came to life. 2 weeks later our family and friends have not stopped talking about how great everything was, from the food to the music to the overall atmosphere of the venue. Sean and Louise, thank you both from the bottom of mine and Luke’s heart for the most amazing 2 days a couple could ask for!

We stayed in Langtons for a period of 4 days during our wedding celebrations with family that had travelled. The service never faltered once. Everything was 10 out of 10. Sean and the team at Langtons are exceptionally good at what they do. The wedding day would not have been the day it was without the assistance and recommendations from Sean and Louise. The communication was excellent. All of the staff are so professional but above all so friendly and welcoming. From our initial meeting to the food tasting, the wedding day and day 2 celebrations we had the best experience. Langtons is a beautiful venue with amazing food in the heart of Kilkenny. We cannot thank the team enough and highly highly recommend this venue. Need an excuse to get back ASAP :-)

We had the most amazing few days for our wedding two weeks ago! We stayed in Langtons the night before, night of and night after our wedding. Everything was perfect from start to finish! Sean and Louise were a breeze to work with and nothing was too much trouble for them. Every staff member we met along the way was so helpful and friendly. We had our ceremony in the Set Theatre and dinner in the ball room. We also had our day two in Bridie’s! Both days were brilliant - we couldn’t have asked for any more! We had The Strobes as our band, Eoghan O Sullivan as our DJ and Phil Coulter for our ceremony and drinks reception musician. All fabulous. Thank you so much to Sean, Louise, Ciara and all the team in Langtons !

Sean, Louise and the full team did an exceptional job to deliver an unforgettable day for us, our friends and family. We travelled from Sligo when we went for the craic to see what Kilkenny and Langtons were like as an option for our wedding. After meeting Sean and seeing the venue we booked it there and then at our first meeting. We had our ceremony in The Set and reception in the ballroom. A stunning venue and unique experience for our guests. The staff made sure everything was spotless and set up to perfection. Sean and Louise helped us with recommendations for vendors and made the process so much easier and for that I can’t thank them enough. The package options we found to be reasonable and covered everything we needed. The communication and support was phenomenal. Sean also helped me up one of the steps as I walked down the aisle with my father and it’s that attention to detail that sets them apart and why they are award winners! From the food, service, cocktails and friendliness of staff it was the perfect venue and day for us. Our guests are still raving about the day and we will we back to see the team again soon. We had our wedding at Langtons in April 2023 and cannot speak highly enough of the venue and the whole team at Langtons. We wanted a small wedding and from the first phone call and meeting with Sean Reid, we knew that Langtons was the perfect choice for us. We had our reception in the Set Theatre. It was wonderfully decorated and the perfect setting for a more intimate wedding. Our guests enjoyed a great drinks reception in Bridies bar with live music creating an upbeat atmosphere. We also had the speeches in Bridies, keeping it casual and less daunting for those speaking! Many of our guests had never been to Langtons before and raved about how unique and different both Bridies and The Set were for a wedding- it is the perfect place if you are looking for something a little different. So many different nooks and crannies made for some wonderful photo opportunities. The food on the day was very important to us and it did not disappoint. There was endless amounts of food at the drinks reception and in the evening. The meal itself was fantastic and very generous portion sizes. Many of our guests praised the quality of the food. Throughout all of our dealings in the months leading up to our wedding, Sean was amazing to work with. No ask was too big and his always calm, professional and positive energy reassured us that we were in great hands. He is such an asset to Langtons and we can’t thank him enough for everything. Louise was always available to answer any questions we had and was a great help to us also. On the day itself, Sean and Stephen were so warm and friendly to us, checking that we were happy with everything and having a great day! Sean, Louise and the whole team in Langtons were wonderful to deal with and gave us the most amazing experience on our wedding day.
