We held both our wedding ceremony and reception at Langton's this September, and from start to finish, the experience was absolutely perfect. The venue itself is beautiful, and the Set Theatre, where we held our ceremony, was particularly stunning. The team at Langton's as a whole were outstanding. Every member of staff was helpful, kind, and went above and beyond for us and our guests. The food was a particular highlight—the quality and variety of choices were excellent, and we received so many compliments from our guests. A special mention must go to the wedding coordinators, Sean and Louise. They are a truly professional and experienced team. On the day, Louise looked after us impeccably—she was efficient, organised, and her calm presence ensured everything ran seamlessly. We also hosted a Day 2 in Bridies, and the food was once again superb. We cannot recommend Langton's highly enough for your special day!

I never knew Langtons existed until two of my close friends got married there, and my then fiancée and I fell in love with the hotel, and as a venue, it was amazing. Staying in the hotel as a guest was great, the service was top-notch, the price was affordable, and the staff were so nice. I'm pretty sure at one point I got lost because the hotel is gigantic in the best way possible. Roll the clock forward, and we booked with them for our wedding. Our meal tasting was great, and being vegetarians, the team worked with us to make sure our menu was top-notch for everyone. I can confirm the veggie/vegan options are delicious. From our ceremony in the Set Theatre to our meal and dancing in the ballroom, it was a magical day. I can not express how easy and stress-free the whole lead-up to our wedding was. Sean and Louise took care of anything and everything for us. They take pride in the work they do, and it showed on our wedding day; the whole day went so smoothly. We had the best day of our lives in Langtons, it was perfect, and I can not recommend it enough. You will not be disappointed.

When we visited Langtons to view it as a wedding venue, possibly, we were met by Sean and shown around the venue, and I knew straight away this was where we were getting married! Sean was calm, informative, and so helpful. In the lead-up, Louise and Ana, along with many others, were so helpful and supportive. We had our ceremony in the Set Theatre and reception in the Ballroom, and it couldn't have flowed better and the pictures are amazing. On the day Sean guided us through and calmed our nerves. The day was amazing, and our family and friends are all raving about the weekend we danced and sang into the wee hours. The team on the day were amazing too, helping me with my dress throughout the day! The hit of the weekend seems to be the Featherblade Beef. If Langtons is a possibility for your wedding, I wouldn't think twice about visiting the team there, the venue is beautiful, their packages are great, and the team are the cherry on the cake! Cannot recommend Sean and all the staff in Langtons Hotel enough. From the 1st meeting with Sean until the big day, Sean and Louise were absolutely fantastic to deal with, always at the end of a call or an email and always very quick to respond to any queries or requests and most of all, they made the day run off like clockwork. Oh my God, what can I say about Langtons and Sean and Louise, they couldn't have done more for us, from helping with where to get suits and where to get a cake(bridies) part of Langtons itself, and the cake was fantastic and so reasonable. They sorted all the entertainment and food. If I could give more than 5 stars, I would. They took all the stress out of the process. Nothing was any bother. They were such a good team to have, and I will miss working with them. They sorted the band and DJ, and entertainment for the drinks reception. We took so much on faith because we had never heard of any of them, but we knew they wouldn't let us down, so we didn't even look up the band. And they were amazing (The Vows). We knew Langtons had such a good reputation and knew their stuff so well that they wouldn't put anything that wasn't amazing into our day. I gave a basic brief of the cake, and what turned out was above and beyond. They were so on the ball, but made us so relaxed. We put our full trust in Sean and Louise, and they came through big time. I couldn't say enough good things about them and the whole staff at Langtons. I have had other family members have receptions there, and we loved the look of the ballroom. But it wasn't until we started working with Sean and Louise that we realised how amazing they really are. It was the best day of our lives, and thanks to the team, I didn't worry about a thing once I arrived at the hotel because I knew they had everything in hand. They are so down-to-earth to deal with, but true professionals, and I just hope someone else in our family or friend circle gets married there again soon so we can go back. It was a pleasure dealing with Langtons for our wedding. From the day we booked with Louise, dealing with Sean, our coordinator throughout, right up to the wedding day itself. From start to finish, the day was amazing, and the staff were top-notch. The food was top-tier, and people are still commenting about it. The service you get for such a reasonable price. Langtons itself is like Narnia, lots of little quirky nooks and crannies all around, perfect for photos. Rooms are beautiful and big. The Set Theatre, where we had the ceremony, to the Ballroom for the reception were beautiful. We just wish we could do it all over again. After looking through what seemed like an endless number of wedding venues, Langtons caught our eye due to its great reviews, its fair pricing and its unique spaces and decor. We went down to do an initial visit and met with Sean, who was immediately engaging, attentive and very accommodating. We got a tour of all of the spaces, met some of the excellent staff and stayed over, enjoying the hotel and all that Kilkenny has to offer. After making the reservation, it was very plain sailing. Any time we had questions or queries, both Sean and Louise were very responsive and helpful. They gave us advice, recommendations and helped us sort out our guests with a lot of different things (even if they weren't staying in Langton's itself). We took our parents down for the wedding tasting, and it was superb. We met Michala, who looked after us so well and who also looked after ourselves and our wedding guests on the day! She was so friendly, professional, and nothing was too much! We also. had the pleasure of meeting the barman Sean, who was great chat, great craic and pours a great pint and. makes a mean cocktail! The wedding itself was beyond anything we could have hoped for. We got married in the set theatre, string quartet, flowers, candles and all of our friends and family. We had the drinks reception both inside and outside, had an illustrator and a performer. The guests all commented on the decor of the Set Theatre, Pewter Bar and the Ballroom. They appreciated the attentive staff, and nothing was too much. We had a guest who was a wheelchair user, and things could not have been easier for them. The wedding meal was delicious, the food and wine kept coming out, and everyone really enjoyed it. The manager in charge of service in the ballroom was just excellent; she checked in with us multiple times and made sure everything was just right for us. I cannot praise this venue enough! From start to finish they were everything you could want from a wedding venue. Sean, Louise and the whole team were so accommodating, so good at responding to my many queries and so helpful in every way. Planning a wedding from overseas I thought would be so stressful but they took care of everything and the whole day went seamlessly, nothing was too much trouble. The staff were all so friendly too which was lovely. The venue is stunning with so many different areas that you almost forget it’s all taking place in the one venue and the areas are all so stunning you need to add very little. And the food, guests are still talking about it. So so happy with our decision and I can’t imagine our day having taken place anywhere else. Also, I don’t know if it’s the done thing to talk about price but I found Langtons was so reasonable compared to other venues we looked at which wasn’t really a deciding factor but didn’t hurt. They were flexible with package inclusions to make sure we weren’t paying for things we didn’t need to and were honest and transparent from the start. In an industry that often feels like you’re being taken for a ride, I feel so lucky to have dealt with a venue that honestly seems to do it for the love of it and that passion shone through.

Traveling from the USA to get blindly married in a country neither of us had ever visited was quite stressful but Sean helped to take away the weight of planning our wedding very early on in the process. Sean and the staff at Langtons were so helpful and kind during the entire planning process; anything we needed, they delivered or found someone who could. They helped us to choose vendors giving us lists of suggestions we could research and review on our own. They made every vision we had come true. Once we arrived in Ireland the week before the wedding they were so attentive and made the entire process so seamless. Every inspirational photo I provided and every small request I made were perfectly executed, and the day came together better than I could have even imagined! There wasn’t a single hiccup the entire day, I was in disbelief at how seamlessly the day went & wish I could relive that night again and again! Langtons were amazing! Langtons from day 1 were excellent to deal with, being from Kilkenny, I knew it would be a great venue for our wedding, the food is always brilliant and the staff are great. For the wedding day and the lead up, Sean and Louise were the best people to deal with, they do this all the time so you are 100% in safe hands with them for your wedding. Numerous guests at our wedding were raving about the theatre, bars and food, they had a ball and we would highly recommend Langtons for your wedding, they know how to do it incredibly brilliantly and the value for money won't be beaten!

From the rehearsal dinner in Harry’s Bar, the ceremony in the Set Theatre, the drinks reception in the Pewter Bar, the dinner in Langtons Ballroom and Day 2 in Bridie’s Bar - they truly have everything! Each spot is filled with charm, personality and is totally unique. The food, entertainment, service, organisation and communication were fantastic.
