As soon as we walked into Langtons, we knew it was the place for us, it was the one and only venue we looked at and we couldn’t be happier with how the day turned out. From our first meeting with their wedding coordinator Sean, we felt at ease and knew that we were in good hands. The theatre for the ceremony is so unique and all our guests commented on how different it was. The ballroom was decorated spectacularly and all the items we brought to Langtons the night before the wedding were all perfectly set up by the amazing staff. The packages they offer at Langtons are amazing and takes away a lot of the stress that goes with a wedding. They organised an amazing band, DJ, drinks reception music and decorated the ballroom for us. The menu choice and food were also superb with lots of different options that you would not see on your standard wedding menu. Sean and Louise were a pleasure to work with from the start and are experts at what they do. The day ran so smoothly, and we cannot speak highly enough of all the staff who were very attentive. We never had to think or worry about the details, so it was a very calm experience for us! We really cannot recommend Langtons enough for a wedding and look forward to returning in the future.

We had an amazing intimate themed wedding at Langtons. Everything was perfect, from the very first time we met Sean and viewed the venue to our departure after the wedding. Both the ceremony and the dinner took place in the theater, which was the perfect setting for us. We all felt very welcome and catered for by all staff members. Me and my husband got married in Langtons on a lovely sunny autumn day. Our ceremony was in the gorgeous bright conservatory, followed by a drinks reception in Bridies and dinner in the Set theatre. To say the day and the whole experience leading up to the wedding was perfect, would be an understatement. From the start, Sean and Louise were so kind and attentive. Always quick to respond to our emails and answer our million questions. No request was too much and we got to completely personalise anything we wanted about our day. Langtons is a very beautiful venue of course and the food was honestly the best meal I've ever had (I still don't know how they cooked a whole hall of wedding guests steaks each to perfection). It's the staff that really make Langtons special! Every staff member we encountered was extremely friendly and helpful. They couldn't do enough for you, but in a very comfortable and casual way, as if we were local regulars in Langtons. If you haven't booked Langtons for your wedding already, do, you really won't regret it! Thanks so much to Sean and Louise for making our special day feel like THE special day at Langtons!

We can't recommend Langtons and the team enough!! This place is an institution and part of the fabric of Kilkenny for a reason. Aside from Kilkenny being a great city with a great buzz, one of the reasons we initially viewed Langtons was because of all the positive reviews we had read and they did not disappoint. From the very beginning, the attention to detail of Sean and his team was second to none and they could not have done more for us. The ballroom itself is stunning and requires minimal, if any, additional decor. The venue is ideally set up whatever the weather with a lovely outdoor seating area if the weather is nice, and plenty of room inside if not. The number of staff in the hotel meant the bar was always well staffed and there was never a queue. We didn't have to worry about setting up the room whatsoever. We gave the staff our table plan, party favours and name tags in the morning and they looked after the rest. Their range of packages made the planning process so much easier, with the band and DJ being organised by the hotel once chosen by us. The day went off without a hitch and we have received so many compliments from friends and family about the venue, the food (the chowder *chef's kiss*) and the staff. We can't stress enough how much Sean and Louise went above and beyond to accommodate us, from our last-minute request for a cake from Bridies to the setting up of the gin/whiskey bar. To round off a great weekend, we had day two in the lovely Bridies Bar next door with about 40 of our guests which was also looked after by Sean and Louise, and we would also highly recommend it. All in all, the perfect city venue!

We held our destination wedding at Langtons and it could not have gone smoother! I am so grateful for Sean and the staff at Langtons, they always had answers to my questions and anticipated my needs. The food plus the atmosphere and vibe at Langtons was exactly what I was looking for. My guests raved about the venue and they all want to go back again some day to visit.

Wow, where to even start with Sean, Louise and the whole team at Langtons. When booking our wedding, everyone was so happy to hear we chose Langtons. From the moment we went to the wedding showcase day to after the wedding, Sean and Louise were incredible. I soon realised that when it came to Langtons, nothing , absolutely nothing was an issue. For example, we wanted pints of Guinness and Pornstar Martini trees for our reception along with cones of chips, sandwiches and it was no problem. The day was absolutely flawless and Sean kept me calm and cool. Our guests are still raving about the food! The beef was spot on and the seabass was amazing. There was so much food, the service of all the team was fab. I couldn't fault it in any way. It was a fantastic day! Sean, Louise and the team made planning our wedding so easy. From the start we knew we were in the hands of experienced professionals. The first thing my husband and I agreed on was that we wanted our wedding ceremony in the Set Theatre at Langtons. We've always loved the venue and to have our day there was so special. From our first meeting with Sean Reid, he put us at ease, any queries, worries or requests were met with understanding, respect and patience by all staff. The advice and gentle suggestions along the way were very practical and much appreciated. Accommodations were made for my Dad who has limited mobility, and the staff were so kind to my brother with special needs and our 5 year old son (who was treated like the VIP!) .Whatever /whomever was important to us was important to the wedding team. Our guests enjoyed the day immensely and were well looked after, as were we. It was a relaxed and enjoyable day with great food, drink and very comfortable overnight accommodation to sleep it off. Our wedding at Langtons was Amazing! Starting from the management and organisation with Sean and Louise, the food with Micheala and right through to the hospitality from all the staff throughout Langtons, our guests and ourselves were made feel very special for our big day of celebrations. It’s clear the culture is positive within the work environment at Langtons and customer satisfaction is prioritised.The food was very highly rated by all of ours guests including myself who can be known to take a Gordon Ramsey approach to my food reviews. Sean must get a special mention for his professionalism and his ability to be so dynamic with planning even right up to the final bell. His calming approach to overseeing everything ran smoothly on the day while still remaining in the distance of all the action was clearly an innate talent combined with many years of experience. Our wedding at Langtons was a dream come true, from start to finish! First, the venue itself is beautiful – we tied the knot in the gorgeous Set Theatre, caught up with our guests in the airy outdoor courtyard and danced the night away in their dazzling ballroom. It was Sean, Louise and their wonderful team that really made our day though. From the very first moment we met with them, we knew that we were in very good hands. They had great recommendations for suppliers, were always very responsive, were open to our ideas and were always on hand to make sure everything went smoothly. We will forever be grateful for Sean’s presence and attention to detail on the day itself. We were also organizing our big day from Canada, but they made the whole process extremely easy for us. Langtons is the perfect combination of an incredibly professional team and a unique, stunning venue. We wholeheartedly recommend this venue to anyone planning a wedding!

I cannot recommend Langtons enough. We had our wedding party at Langtons and it was just incredible! The staff were so supportive and ensured our every need was met. Our Wedding Day /weekend at Langtons Hotel couldn't have went any better. From the day we booked the venue, we knew that we had picked the perfect place. Sean and all his colleagues worked so hard to make sure everything went without a hitch. Myself and my wife still go visit from time to time to relive the experience the amazing staff at Langtons Hotel showed us and our guests.

We got married at Langtons 15th December 2022. We dealt with Sean the whole way through our planning. When I say our day was absolutely perfect I really mean it, Sean went above and beyond for us and their attention to detail in the food, service and overall organising of the day was exceptional. I had heard such fabulous reviews about Langtons from friends and colleagues- and I feel so lucky that we got to experience the magic firsthand ourselves. Our wedding experience in Langtons went beyond our expectations. I cannot stress enough how fantastic Langtons were to deal with for our beautiful day last July. We were able to include many individual touches that reflected our personal tastes and Langtons were so accommodating and generous. No idea we had was too difficult, and they did everything in their power to make sure we felt heard and to make us feel that our wedding was unique to us. The staff, headed by Sean Reid, were highly professional, helpful and kind. They offered advice, suggestions and support and their patience was endless! They made us feel like we were the most important people in the world and it made the time around our wedding so special. The venue itself is so classy and timelessly beautiful. The location was ideal and the backdrop of the Kilkenny Castle nearby made for some beautiful photo opportunities. I would highly recommend them to anyone.

Myself and my husband got married in Langton's on Saturday the 5th of August. From our very first zoom meeting with Seán, we knew Langtons was the venue for us. The hotel is just stunning and very different. We got married in the Set Theatre and just wow. It has such a magical feel. We then moved on to the ballroom for our meal and it is equally as beautiful. The food is to die for with so many options to choose from. Everyone commented on how amazing the food was. The wedding coorinators Seán and Louise are amazing and very easy to deal with. We met Seán a lot in the run up and he always put us at ease and made our planning so enjoyable. He is some man for one man and he really knows what he is doing. He is so down to earth and really made every one of our guests welcomed. For such a busy hotel everything runs so smoothly and it's a credit to the amazing team. All the staff in the hotel were truly amazing and so nice. All our guests only had great things to say about the staff and have booked more nights away to this gem of a hotel. Three months on and I still have a bad case of the wedding blues, even our eldest son said we should get a divorce just so we can have our wedding day all over again..really like the way he is thinking!!
