It’s actually difficult to put into words how brilliant all the staff at Langtons have been in both the build-up to the wedding and on the big day. Special shout out to Louise and Sean, you were just amazing from beginning to end. The perfect amount of communication in the lead-up and so attentive on the day of our wedding and we were made to feel so cared for all the way through. The hotel venue is also stunning and we were able to keep our flowers simple because the venue and space just speaks for itself. Our wedding at Langton’s was simply perfect, and the best day of our lives. We cannot recommend Langton’s enough as a wedding venue! Ever since we started working with Sean, Louise, and the whole wedding team, they made everything so easy. We would be deep in planning, and invariably come up with tons of questions. We’d hop on a call with Sean, and he would be able to effortlessly answer all of them. In fact, anytime we spoke to Sean, we felt more relaxed about everything! Especially considering we were planning this abroad from the UK, this level of help and support was really appreciated. The venue itself is stunning. We knew when we first walked in to visit that this was going to be our wedding venue. The Set Theatre looks gorgeous throughout both the ceremony and the evening dancing. And the ballroom looks so impressive with the tables beautifully set up for dinner. We opted for the default decor provided by Langton’s, and it looked amazing! You honestly don’t need to change anything. All the staff on the day were incredible and went above and beyond to help us. They must see so many weddings at Langton’s, but you’re treated as if you’re the only one! We also had a lot of dietary requirements on the day, and this was not a problem at all. Everything about our day was perfect, and the help and support provided by Langton’s in the lead-up, and on the day, exceeded our expectations. Since having our wedding, we have heard from countless guests about what an amazing time they had, how incredible Langton’s is, and how friendly and professional all the staff were. In our eyes, Langton’s is the perfect wedding venue!!

Where do I begin? There aren't words to do justice to how amazing Sean, Louise and the whole team at Langton's have been for myself and Dale over the passed 2 years. We booked our wedding in 2022 and from that moment the care and attention to detail the guys showed us has been second to none. There was no job too big or no ask too much for them. They were only ever a phone call away if needed. As someone who was a laid back relaxed bride and left everything till the month of the wedding, I never felt any pressure as Louise and Sean had everything under complete control. Their professionalism is a joy to watch and they are masters of their work. I also would like to extend that to every single person we dealt with in Langtons, the reception dealing with rooms for family, the wedding staff, bar staff, chef! (because the food was exceptional and no corners were cut) and we received that feedback from all our guests too, we now have friends viewing the venue for their own weddings. We loved everything about our wedding at Langtons. From the time we booked, the staff couldn’t do enough for us . The day itself was amazing from start to finish. We had no worries knowing Langtons had all the finer details covered. And I have to give a massive thanks to Sarah aka Clair, she was a lifesaver the night before the wedding. She truly is a wizard at what she does. And of course a big thanks to Sean, who was there from start to finish and although nerves were high on the day, he made us feel completely at ease. All the staff were brilliant. My only is wish is we could do it all again.

We picked Langton's House Hotel for our June wedding based on the excellent reviews and experiences of people we knew. We couldn't have imagined how lucky we would be. The service was exceptional, and Sean coordinated weddings with a calm and steady hand. His good humour and expertise make for a much easier planning experience. Sean and the whole wedding team were wonderful on the day. In terms of the decor, I felt quite emotional walking into the ballroom; it was beautifully decorated. Our dancing was in The Set Theatre and was perfect for our numbers (under 120). The food was delicious, and their signature dessert - the Brown Bread Ice-Cream Gateaux- was a real talking point! We couldn't recommend Langton's enough. It's no surprise they win so many awards for their weddings!

Unbelievable Wedding Venue!! We had our wedding here on June 14, 2024, and I cannot praise Séan, Louise, and all the staff enough. From the very start, everything in the planning was made so easy. No issue was too big for them, and they were always at the end of the phone or email if I ever wanted anything answered. The ballroom is just stunning, and all our guests are still raving about the food, which was incredibly tasty and plentiful. Langtons was always close to our family’s heart for any celebration, and when Keith and I chose The Set as our wedding Venue, it was honestly just perfect! Sean and Louise are unbelievable at what they do, and nothing is too big or small for them. They helped us plan our day down to the last detail, and it could not have gone better!! We had an intimate wedding, and The Set was the ideal venue. From the layout of the ceremony to the layout of the dinner tables, it was the ideal space for us. From the moment we stepped foot in Langton's for our initial show around with Sean, we knew that the venue and the staff here were 2nd to none. Sean and Louise, from day 1, honestly made the whole experience perfectly seamless. They couldn't do enough for us, making us feel like we were the only couple getting married there this year. We will cherish the memories we made in the year leading up to and including our wedding day, and this is largely due to how accommodating, generous, and friendly Sean, Louise, and all the staff at Langton's are. Sean and Louise are full of excellent suggestions and insights and have an excellent vendor list. The main dining room is beautiful when it's empty, but the Langton's staff made it absolutely stunning for our wedding. The Set Theatre is such an asset and was an excellent way to break up the night for our guests. Bridie's was perfect for our day 2 and made everything easy for our guests. The bar staff were excellent, and nobody waited long for drinks. The serving staff and all the hotel staff are very friendly, but they also couldn't do enough to help you - nothing was ever too much hassle. We loved Langton's from the moment we arrived, but it was amazing to hear that we had stayed at Langton's wedding, and guests felt the same. About half of our guests were travelling from America for the wedding, and they felt so comfortable and welcomed by all the staff at Langton's. We've received compliments since our wedding day, with several guests saying it was genuinely the best wedding they've ever attended. Planning a wedding and the weeks leading up to it was stressful, but when we arrived in Langtons the week of the wedding, we felt completely at ease and excited about what was to come. We had a small wedding in Langtons with 34 people. The service you receive is just the same as if there were 340 people. We will never forget it. Sean and Louise are the most helpful people, and you really feel like they want to do everything they can to give you the day you have imagined. It just doesn’t stop at Sean and Louise. Everyone, the barman we had and the evening staff in the room, was just so good at what they did. The food was amazing, piping hot !! We had our whole day, start to finish, in the set theatre, and it was magical. The bedrooms are amazing, and the breakfast was amazing. We had our wedding here in Langtons Kilkenny 2 weeks ago today, and what can we say, it's just amazing. There is a reason why Sean, Louise and the team have such an excellent reputation. From booking the wedding all the way through to the day itself, nothing was too much. They were at hand to answer any question, even last-minute panic ones. Our guests were in awe of the venue, many of whom had travelled from the west to the heart of Kilkenny. There are so many photo options indoors for a rainy day and in Kilkenny itself, where Langtons is perfectly positioned. We knew once we got engaged, this would likely be the spot and not a single regret here. Would recommend this location to anyone recently engaged, you'll have no regrets. We had our wedding here recently, and it was brilliant from start to finish. It's such a relaxing setting. Everything went smoothly and was very organized. The food was lovely, and we weren't waiting for ages between courses. We couldn't have asked for more. All of Langtons staff were brilliant. It was a great day and night! Our wedding at Langton’s was absolutely everything we hoped it would be! I had seen Langtons on Instagram when looking for venues and was so smitten with the look and the vibe. Even though we live on the other side of the country, I decided I needed to see it for myself, and once I did, I was convinced. Seán was so relaxed and knowledgeable that we were immediately sure we could trust him to make sure we had the best day possible. Both he and Louise were so prompt in all their communication and in answering my questions. Langtons is a spectacular choice for those who want an out-of-the-box venue. Getting married in the Set Theatre felt so intimate, and we had the best craic dancing with the band later in the evening. I don’t know if there’s a more beautiful ballroom in the country either! We are so grateful to Sean, Louise, and all the staff for helping us have the most special day.

What can I say only ‘Wow!!’ From the moment we viewed Langtons, our minds were made up! Everything from the staff and the decor to the food was incomparable. We went for the diamond package, and after looking at other packages that other venues had offered us, it just seemed like a no-brainer to go with them. Everyone asked me how I was so relaxed not only on our wedding day but throughout the whole lead-up and from the moment we booked Langtons as our venue. Honestly, it’s because of Sean and Louise and all the work they do. They treat your wedding as if it were theirs and cannot do enough for you. All of the staff, even on the day, were complimented so highly by our guests, along with how amazing the food was and the hotel itself is so gorgeous. Everyone felt free to enjoy themselves being served (all day and night) with a smile by everyone they met. There wasn’t a time I felt I couldn’t email Sean or Louise and even up until the night before with situations changing (the usual) they were at the other end of the phone reassuring us nothing was a problem all the time. Your wedding is supposed to be the best day of your life and everyone at Langtons are there to ensure it will be. Looking back there is not one thing I would change and we are so grateful to to all the team at Langtons for playing such a huge part in our special day, we couldn’t have done it without them.

We chose Langton's as our small civil ceremony venue before our wedding overseas later this year. Sean and the team understood exactly what we wanted from the first meeting and made the whole process easy. From the initial meeting right through the day of the ceremony, we felt no stress and felt like the team was on top of everything. What a venue. What a team. What a day. We had the most amazing experience having our wedding at the Langtons. From the first day we came to book, until two days after the wedding when we checked out it has been nothing short of fantastic. Fantastic help with all the planning with Sean and Louise. Fantastic service from the waiters, bartenders and reception staff. Fantastic wedding packages. We could not fault a single thing. Sean was with us throughout the whole thing making sure we were okay and had everything we needed. He put us at ease with everything. Nothing was a hassle. The Set theatre was magical, Bridies was beautiful with the sun shine making it even more magical. Everything went seamless with great planning and organization. The rooms were amazing and the little touches for the Bridal Suite was really nice and appreciated. We would highly recommend them to any couple who are looking for a fantastic venue.

We got married in Kilkenny on April 19th 2024, and had our wedding reception in Langtons Hotel. We started our preparations in December and dealt with Sean and Louise. Both corresponded efficiently with our questions. Langtons made the process stress-free by sending email milestone reminders at 12 months, 6 months, 3 months, and a month away. We had a Zoom call with Sean at 3 months where a lot of details were finalised & discussed. Our wedding tasting was in February & Sean & Louise took on board our feedback about the meal. As the groom was a coeliac, we suggested the gluten element of the main course be removed to allow it to be gluten-free. Langtons allocated 20 rooms for our family and we dealt with a number of the team in reception when finalising the room. They were always polite & responded promptly. We arrived on the day before the wedding laden with flowers & decorations for the wedding reception, which were left in the reception to be stored safely. On the wedding day, the bridal party had an early start & went for breakfast at 7:30 am. We were served a beautiful hot breakfast & we headed to our club room to get ready. The room Langton's provided was spacious and both the hair & make up artist could work independently. One they both mentioned was that the light in the room could have been better. When we dressed, Sean met me & brought me through the hotel to the back entrance beside the church. After the wedding was over, we headed back to Langtons, where Sean welcomed us with prosecco and guided us into the reception. Musician Thomas Jackman created a lovely atmosphere. They set up and manned our gin and whiskey reception, which was a hit with everyone. When we entered the room, we were amazed at the decorations on the tables. The meal was faultless. The steak was cooked to order, and everybody was so impressed with the consistent quality of the food & the speed of the service. The bar service was also quick and friendly long into the night

Langtons is a place that makes you feel at home, loved and cared about. We had an amazing small wedding in the Set Theatre in January 2024. We organised our wedding in less than 2.5 months - one day we woke up and decided to get married "Tomorrow". Everyone agrees that the amount of pressure and stress is unreal. We were blessed to find the perfect venue at short notice. A big thank you to the Langtons Wedding Team (especially Team Manager Sean), who helped and guided us on this journey and made our perfect big day. In a single one hour meeting with Sean, everything had been discussed and agreed upon. We thought, ‘Is that it? Could it be that simple and easy?’ We found it harder to find a band as many were already booked in advance and dealing with invitations was the hardest part, but, Sean helped us here too — he gave us contacts of a few bands. Langtons even kindly agreed to do our wedding cake which they don't normally do but after we tried their freshly baked cakes and coffee in Bridie’s café I said to my not-yet husband, ‘Wow! It’s so good - it will be great if our cake is made here too’. They even designed it better than in the photo we provided! During our menu tasting, we had great fun with Louise. She helped us to choose the perfect drinks for our guests and her advice to change one of the desserts made our menu perfect and complete. All guests, including some in the “hard to please” category, said the food was delicious. We had asked for a 3rd choice on the main menu and despite the size of our wedding (less than 40 people) Langtons obliged and didn’t charge us extra. Any changes were so easy to make. It was as if Sean could read our minds and predict what we wanted or needed or what could go wrong and knew how to fix it! When a few guests got sick and cancelled the night before the wedding, we simply emailed to make changes to our Table Plan and we were 100 % sure they would look after us. I stayed the night before in the hotel. In the morning, the staff called to the room 3-4 times offering help and ensuring that we were doing well. I knew that I didn’t need to worry about anything and just get myself ready! Everything on the day went as planned, without delays or surprises. Our ceremony was in The Set Theatre, a room with a unique atmosphere. This is how I remember it now: It’s 3 p.m., myself and my future husband are entering the Set Theatre. A flute is being played, there is soft dim lighting, and flowers and candles everywhere. Our families and friends greet us and smile at us. I can feel my tears of joy and goosebumps that betray my excitement. The moment has arrived when the magic is about to happen — Today Tomorrow and Forever together! Afterwards, Bridie’s Bar provided us with a lot of privacy and time to relax and enjoy ourselves. The room made us feel that we were all together now and the size of the wedding suddenly got bigger.

I can't sing high enough praises about Sean and the team at Langton's for all the help with my wedding. I was planning my wedding from abroad, and the team was very patient and more than willing to answer any silly questions I had. They were very accommodating and helped the day move smoothly.
