My wife and I got married here on the 23rd of August 2024. Sean and the team made our fairytale wedding come true from the moment we arrived at Langtons. They provided an incredible experience for us and our guests with great music, drinks, and delicious bites to eat, all set in the stunningly beautiful gardens surrounding our wedding venue. After that, we were served a fantastic meal, followed by an amazing performance from our wedding band. We danced and celebrated late into the night. Langtons is the perfect place to have the wedding of your dreams—because we certainly had ours!

We were lucky to have two wedding celebrations in Langton's Hotel and could not recommend it more. We had two very different days and got to enjoy all that Langton's has to offer. Our first day was in Harry's Bar with a small crowd, it was the perfect venue for our small celebration. Our second day was celebrated with 100 guests in Bridie's, the Ballroom and The Set theatre. Our guests were blown away by the venue and all the different characteristics in each room. From the moment we met Seán we were set on the venue. He was very professional, friendly and relaxed (exactly what we were looking for). Nothing was an issue and he made wedding planning very easy for us. The rest of the staff - the waiters, cleaners, bar and reception staff were also all very pleasant and added to the enjoyment of our days. I would highly recommend Langton's as a wedding venue. Whether you're looking for a small intimate gathering or a bigger celebration, Langton's has it all!

We got engaged in March 2023, deciding we didn’t want a long engagement. We set our date for Christmas 2023 as we both love the festive atmosphere. We contacted Langtons and arranged to meet with Sean Reade, from our very first meeting we were so impressed by his warm, friendly and professional demeanour. He put us at ease and went through all their packages (which are extensive with something to suit every taste and budget) our first choice date wasn’t available but he made a few calls and to our delight secured the date for us. We picked from their selection of bands and DJs and couldn’t have been happier with our choice. Sean did all the liaising with them, he takes so much of the hard work away so you get to enjoy the build-up to your big day, he is beyond organised, helpful and always available to answer any questions or concerns. He regularly checks in and offers such an exceptional service. On the day he is on hand at all times, from the morning preparations to the night celebrations, personally overseeing and ensuring everything is running smoothly. We had the best day of our lives and it surpassed all our expectations, the hotel was beautifully decorated, the staff warm and friendly, the food delicious, the drink free flowing, a heaving dance floor and wonderful memories made with family and friends who all thoroughly enjoyed the day. we cannot recommend Langtons or Sean and his team enough!

Myself and Brendan are so happy we chose Langtons for our wedding. We had the most incredible day/weekend and wished it could have lasted a little longer. Sean the wedding coordinator is an absolute gentleman. So easy to talk to, nothing we requested was an issue, and no query or question was ever any trouble. He really made us feel that our wedding was special. Thank you for all the help and guidance over our 2 years planning and also to Louise who we didn't meet but was sorting everything out through email. The food was absolutely beautiful nearly every guest complimented the food to us and service was first class. The ballroom is a stunning setting for a wedding, we fell in love with it. You can also have your wedding in the set theatre where we had our drinks reception. Which is just amazing as well. Langtons has so many areas for day 2 which is brilliant as well. We had ours in Bridie's which was lovely and relaxed. You could really have any budget wedding here from small groups to large. The rooms were so beautiful, especially the garden rooms. I wish we could do it all again it was everything we dreamt of and more and that really is down to the amazing staff at Langtons. We would highly recommend Langtons for your wedding venue. We had our dream wedding at Langtons Hotel in Kilkenny. The Set Theatre was the perfect setting for our ceremony – it's absolutely stunning! Sean and all the staff were incredibly helpful and accommodating throughout the entire planning process. Our guests commented that the food was delicious and the service was impeccable. Our wedding was perfect! Langtons could not have been more helpful from the very start. We live in Vietnam and we (my wife Joanne) planned our big day in conjunction with Langtons. Sean was always available for Zoom calls. His insight and calm nature was a really comforting attribute to what we thought would be a stressful endeavour. Sean was with us every step of the way and we really appreciated his expertise. As far as the day was concerned, it could not have been better. Langtons is an incredible venue for weddings. The Garden rooms that were reserved for family and friends were amazing and they were delighted with both their accommodation and the service from the hotel. Kilkenny is an incredible city and Langtons is a staple of the city for good reason. On the day of the wedding, Sean and Louise were both incredible with the setup and we couldn't have asked for more helpful people to help our dream day come true. We would recommend Langtons to absolutely who's getting married in Kilkenny, we loved it so much!

We couldn’t recommend Langtons highly enough! From the initial meeting we had with Sean right through to the day itself, they could not have been more helpful and accommodating! The entire venue is gorgeous and is such a unique setting for a hotel in a city centre. We had our ceremony in the Set Theatre and the photos and video turned out incredible in that setting. The staff on the day were incredible and we are still getting compliments on the food throughout the day - the vol-au-vents in particular went down a treat! Sean, Louise and all the team in Langtons were incredibly helpful and it made the planning and the big day go by without any stress. If you are thinking of a wedding anywhere in Ireland, make sure you check them out because you will not be disappointed.

Really happy that we went with Langtons for our wedding. Sean and Louise were so great to deal with and really go out of their way to make sure everything runs smoothly. It was very easy to plan the wedding there. They have several different venues and spaces to choose from. The prices were pretty reasonable too considering how good the food and venue is and what they offer. I would highly recommend Langtons for your wedding.

I could not recommend both the venue and Langtons but also specifically Sean Read highly enough. Leading up to the day, we had a number of meetings with Sean, who was incredibly helpful and knowledgeable and almost became our wedding planner by stealth, whether it was assisting with timings for the running of the day, asking the right questions at the right time, Sean really simplified and demystified what could have felt like an overwhelming process. In the lead up to the day, we had many different iterations of numbers, sizes, food options, timings etc. Sean was incredibly flexible to provide advice and prices for whatever permutation of wedding was most suitable for us. On the day we had the most wonderful time, the staff and logistics worked seamlessly and everyone had a smile on their face, the venue was beautiful and we really just had the most perfect day. We had a relatively modest budget, but even with double the cost, our day couldn’t have gone any better or been more fitting to our wants. I couldn’t speak highly enough about Sean and the team in Langtons. We first met them at their wedding fair where they couldn’t be more helpful and informative. The event is also great to meet some local vendors. From deciding our date right through the end of our wedding, Sean and the team couldn’t have been more helpful. We knew we were in safe hands. Our day was so special and I’m delighted that langtons were a big part of our day. They receive many awards for their work, all of which is very much well deserved!

Everyone at Langton's was absolutely stellar! Sean, Louise and our barmen for the day were phenomenal. We had a very small (under 30 guests) wedding, with the ceremony in the garden conservatory and the reception at the Set theatre, both beautiful. Since there was no other event the day before, we were able to decorate for the ceremony the night before, and the staff handled moving the flowers to the reception while we enjoyed drinks at Bridie's bar. They went above and beyond to make everything look lovely, arranged our snack table and displayed our cake with some of our decor. We felt we truly just focused on enjoying the day. The food was delicious, and I highly recommend their chocolate cake too! Since it was winter, and it rained, we stayed in the hotel the whole time, taking all our photos around. It was beautiful and perfect! A memory we will cherish forever. Thank you!

Sean and team did an amazing job to ensure everything went smoothly. We had the best day ever and nothing was a problem. We had a short turn around time between booking Langtons and the wedding itself but due to the organisation skills and recommendation's everything went perfectly. The Langtons team are fantastic. They cater to all types of budgets and they have so many beautiful options for your special day. All staff go above and beyond to make everybody happy. Louise and Sean are fantastic with excellent communication throughout. My mum became unwell at my reception and Sean and his team were amazing, they couldn’t do enough and even went as far as organising meals to be sent to them and followed up days later asking after her. Nothing was too big of an ask and their only concern was the couple's vision. The food was absolutely fantastic and catered to a few fussy eaters. The waiting and bar staff were just brilliant throughout the day and night. I would 100% recommend Langtons and their amazing team.

The service is outstanding. From the moment we booked the venue to the moment we checked out we could not have been happier. Planning a wedding while living overseas can be daunting but Sean and his team took all the stress away. They were so accommodating and professional from start to finish. We had a November wedding at Langtons, and it could not have gone any better. Right from the planning stage up to the big day, Sean and his team were there to help us organise what turned out to be a brilliant event. Both my wife and I experienced the best day ever—it was stress-free, thanks to all the staff, who could not have been nicer. Many of the guests told us it was the best wedding they had ever attended. The food was fantastic, as was the service. Overall, we could not have been happier with how the day went. We look back on that day with many happy memories and are very grateful to the team at Langtons for all their hard work.

They say your wedding should be the best day of your life. And thanks to Langtons not only did we have the best day of our lives, but the best three days of our lives! From the first time we walked into Langtons and sat with Seán & Louise for the first time, we felt right at home. Nothing was too much, and anything was possible! Complete novices to planning a wedding, they put us in touch with all the right people from florists to photographers, to musicians and bands. And their recommendations could not have been better. We were in safe hands throughout, from the beginning right up until the big day itself. We had our ceremony in the Set and reception in the ballroom. The whole venue is fabulous and has character throughout. You will not find another venue like it! We stayed down the night before the wedding with family and friends and on the day itself, we felt at such ease. Everything came together perfectly with Seán & Louise on hand throughout the morning. A special shout out to Susie also who could not have done more for us and set the ballroom up to perfection. The day was like clockwork and we just knew we were in safe hands throughout. I think it goes without saying but the food was fabulous and a definite talking point still to this day. Day 2 was celebrated in Bridie’s bar, a truly unique venue and the perfect atmosphere to wind down after the big day. I could not recommend this venue more to anyone planning a wedding. Like most, we visited many, many venues in the early planning stages but nothing compared to the welcome and reassurance we received on our first visit. Our only regret was not visiting here first. Thank you to Seán, Louise, Susie and all the team at Langton’s for a truly magical few days. We look forward to seeing you all on the annual visit!

We were fortunate enough to have booked our entire wedding with Langtons, from the Set Theatre for our ceremony to the Ballroom for dinner and back to the Set for our band everything was perfect. From the start of the day to the very end they were all so helpful and we wanted for nothing. Everything ran so smoothly and was stress-free for us and all our guests. The staff handled anything we needed, from setting everything up for us in the morning, moving our decorations around between the rooms and even putting our flower arrangement and candles up into our room so they were kept safe. Everyone went above and beyond for us and made our day extra special. They were able to accommodate the bride and some of her family by providing gluten-free options for the reception particularly the evening finger food, which was greatly appreciated and very rare to happen. All our guests were complimenting the venue, the food and the staff all day. We would highly recommend Langtons for your wedding day.
