We had our Wedding in the Shearwater Hotel & Spa on the 23rd of Feb. The Shearwater Hotel and its staff were excellent and we had the most amazing day. Everyone we encountered throughout our wedding journey were very pleasant to deal with especially Chloe. We would highly recommend this Hotel to anyone as their wedding Venue. The Food and service was superb. 10/10

The Shearwater was an amazing venue for our wedding! They went above and beyond for us in every aspect. We would like to thank Chloe for everything over the past two years of planning. The staff were amazing, not only with us but with all our guests, and couldn’t do enough to help. The food was fabulous, and everyone was commenting on how stunning the ballroom and bedrooms were. We would highly recommend The Shearwater to any other couple for their wedding reception.

We would like to start off by thanking Chloe and her team at the Shearwater Hotel. They couldn’t have done enough for us in making our special day so fabulous. From the first time we met Chloe, we were put at ease straight away. Chloe was very formal and informative. We knew we were making the right choice. As our wedding was the 8th of December the hotel was beautifully decorated with Christmas decorations and the staff were very friendly and ensured everything ran smoothly. As soon as we arrived at the Shearwater, we were very impressed with the hotel. Chloe is fantastic - she's knowledgeable, attentive, and hardworking. She was also very helpful throughout the process and made everything easy for us. On our wedding day, Chloe and the team made sure that everything went smoothly. The food was very important for us, and it was divine! All our guests were very complimentary of the service, food, and the hotel. We are thrilled to have chosen the Shearwater as our wedding reception venue. It was a wonderful reception, and we have all the staff to thank for making it amazing!

My husband and I just wanted to message you and the team to thank you for such a wonderful weekend last week. We have never heard guests at a wedding say so often how relaxed the whole day was and that is down to the whole team at the Shearwater. The call down for dinner, the efficiency of the service and just the general professionalism of everyone meant the whole day ran so smoothly from start to finish. Everyone raved about the food and some said they have never been fed so much at a wedding in their lives!

We got married on July 26th 2024 and it was the most amazing day. The attention to detail from Chloe and the team at Shearwater was amazing. The service was fantastic and the staff were so friendly. Chloe was a gem from start to finish, we were so blessed to have her as our wedding coordinator she really is 5 star, nothing was too much to ask for she really went above and beyond. The hotel itself is stunning.

We had the most amazing wedding in the Shearwater. Chloe was easily contactable and very responsive with any queries in the lead-up to the day! On the day itself, she was present. Throughout our experience, all staff were fantastic and most helpful with everything! The venue was perfect, decor was provided by the hotel, which was great, one less thing to worry about! The day itself went so smoothly. The meal was fantastic, and the guests were still talking about the food! There is plenty of staff to man the bar. We highly recommend Chloe and her team at the Shearwater to host your special day!

We couldn’t recommend the Shearwater Hotel enough to anyone who may be considering having their wedding there. Chloe was a dream to deal with during the whole wedding planning, and the bar and wait staff on the day were excellent. The food was out of this world and we are still receiving compliments about it. We could not fault a single thing, Everyone is talking about how good the service was and amazed they all got hot dinners with the crowd. Chloe and the Shearwater Team, Noel and I just want to thank you for everything you have done for us on the lead up to our wedding day and on the day itself. From the moment we walked into The Shearwater to view it as a possible venue for our wedding reception, we knew it was "our hotel". The decor, the welcome from Chloe and all the staff, the service, and the sheer class were exactly what we were looking for on our wedding day. Chloe was super efficient and organized in the planning of all aspects of the wedding. Offering advice and helping us out when needed, we appreciated that. Every time we visited the Shearwater from the moment we booked our wedding date, we were treated like royalty by Chloe and all the staff. The day of the wedding ran so smoothly, greeted by Chloe and a colleague at the front door, and right throughout the day, constant checks from Chloe and the team to see if was everything okay. Our guests raved about how amazing the service was and how delicious the food was. They are still talking about that 10 weeks later. We cannot recommend the Shearwater Hotel enough. The staff were excellent, especially Chloe who was fantastic right from the day we met her. No request was too big, she organized everything so perfectly, both in the lead up and on the day itself. The hotel looked amazing, the atmosphere was fantastic and we still have guests coming to us raving about the food. Especially the beef! I would highly recommend the hotel to any prospective couples looking for a venue. Thank you so much again to the staff and Chloe for giving us such an unforgettable day xx

We got married last year in the Shearwater Hotel. It was the first and last hotel we looked at. From the moment we got there we were looked after so well. The staff are incredible. Especially Chloe who went above and beyond for us. She helped us with so much and nothing was any trouble for her at all. She was always at the other end of the phone to help. The day of the wedding went perfectly, from the reception and the kids club and the food was amazing. I would highly recommended this hotel for a wedding or break away. Kind regards, Melissa Maguire
