We had our special day on the 26th of October 2024. From beginning to end the day was magical. Everything was done so well by the Clayton Hotel & of course our wedding coordinator Eduarna. From day one you were so helpful with everything. You are the best. The food was excellent as were all the staff. I recently had the pleasure of staying at Clayton Hotel for my wedding, and I cannot express enough how wonderful the entire experience was. From start to finish, the staff went above and beyond to ensure everything was perfect. Every member of the team was incredibly attentive and helpful. Special mention to the wedding coordinator Eduarda who was professional, organized, and made the entire process stress-free. She is so brilliant at what she does. Leading up to the wedding, Mark was especially supportive, handling every detail with care and ensuring that our special day went smoothly. His assistance made a world of difference, and we couldn’t have done it without him. I had my day there and our second day at the hotel was just as enjoyable. The atmosphere in the bar was warm and inviting, with great music that added to the celebration. The staff continued to provide excellent service, making sure we and our guests were comfortable and happy. We had an amazing day and our guests thoroughly enjoyed it also. Both Corina and Debbie were so accommodating with any ask we had. When we reached the Clayton Hotel, Corina greeted us with glasses of champagne and welcomed us in. We walked into the hotel and the atmosphere was superb. As the day and night continued we felt like the stars of the show. The food was amazing, no guest was hungry.

I had my wedding here on the 15th of august 2024. I was planning for 2 years. I knew straight away when I went into the Clayton that this was where I was getting married and also my reception. Everything was absolutely amazing and perfect, everything I wanted and more for my day. On the day, the hotel staff were a credit and we couldn't fault them. Also the wedding coordinator Eduarda was amazing, she always had me calm and if I was worried about anything said that I could email and also gave me her number closer time so I could ring if I ever had any worries . We recently had our wedding reception at the Clayton Hotel. The venue itself is beautiful, and was just the perfect location for us. The staff were amazing as well! Every member of the team at the hotel was so helpful and friendly, but I have to say a special thank you to Eduarda, who just made the day extra special! Our day ran so smoothly, the food was delicious and everyone had a great day. If you’re considering the Clayton Hotel for your wedding I would highly recommend booking with them.

From day one The Clayton was our hotel of choice. When we met Debbie she was so helpful from the begining and nothing was too much of an ask. Everything went off without a hitch and the staff couldn't me more helpful. Karina took over our wedding for the last couple of weeks and the transition was seamless. The entire staff went above and beyond for both of us and all our guests. We would highly recommend the Clayton to our family and friends and look forward to visiting it again soon.

We held our wedding at the end of May in the Clayton Hotel Galway. I’m so happy to report that we do not have one bad thing to say about it! It was the smoothest experience from the first day we met Debbie until we checked out after our wedding. Everything was perfect, the food, the set up of the room, the staff!!! The function room itself has the perfect layout. You can see all your guests, no nooks or crannys, two bars in the room itself and toilets are right next to function room. It keeps all of your guests in the one area. The bridal suite was stunning! Pure luxury. Lots of our guests commented that they loved the staff! They were so friendly and weren’t afraid to hold conversations with them. They were speedy and efficient. No waiting around. The food was fabulous. So tasty on the day…and hot! No one was waiting ages. Our drinks reception there was plenty of food going around, hot as well as cold food which I think is important as people are hungry at that stage. Lots of drinks too! Debbie is in a league of her own. She’s without question in the right job, she is so kind, pleasant, friendly, helpful. I can’t even begin to explain how much Debbie and team made our day so special. From the small touches of the engraved Galway crystal glasses filled to the brim with champagne on our arrival to the amazing and smooth food service. Debbie was on hand with any small question through our 18 months of planning. Nothing was too small for her to help us with. I felt so relaxed the whole day and felt I had nothing to worry about because I knew I was in safe hands and I know not a lot of brides can say that. We had 55+ guests fly over from England and the all could not get over the rooms, the food, the venue and the craic. Thanks for making our day so special, you truly added to the best day of our lives.

Debbie and her team at the Clayton couldn’t put myself and my husband more at ease if they tried, from start to finish I didn’t have to worry about anything. Due to bad weather the reception started a little earlier and the dinner a little earlier and it was all very easily managed, someone was by our side right through the evening. Vicky & I held our wedding at the Clayton Hotel in Galway, from day 1 they were so supportive,as in their wedding events coordinator Debbie. We viewed many other hotels but she offered us everything we wanted, in our own heads what we wanted for our special day from helping us pick some of our wedding vendors to helping us with the smallest but important touches to our wedding. We had our wedding on Friday the 15th of September 2023, I told them I would be staying Thursday, Friday & Day 2 on the Saturday, the hotel catered for all my family & friends that travelled from Kildare. For the 3 days I was there, the service was outstanding,attention to detail was down to a tee, we are both still over the moon nearly 6 weeks after with how we were looked after by Debbie,management,staff & chefs (they were real good feeders & quality food). The only time we were told no to a question was when I asked them to do our wedding for free, course we had a laugh to that, all our meetings pre wedding was always get the serious part of the meeting done & then we were made relax & just had great conversations. If anyone was looking for a recommendation I would easily pass on my recommendations to everyone that was involved in our special day. Thank You to everyone involved in the Clayton Hotel. We booked the Clayton in Galway about 2 years ago after viewing a few hotels on the same day. The people and the attention to detail while we were there was just something else. The warm welcome they gave you just put you at such ease and the communication since then was absolutely amazing. We originally met with Karina and then she moved departments shortly after and the wonderful Debbie Foott took over. She genuinely could not have done enough for us. She was just amazing and we were so lucky to have her. If a job could be done it was always a yes. We were never told no. She made our vision come true and we had the best wedding. The guests raved about the food, the venue and the staff. We could not have asked for a better bunch of people. We are so sad it’s all over. Debbie put up with emails at all hours and responded in such a humbling way to reassure any bride/person. I would highly recommend having your wedding at the Clayton Galway and especially working with the fantastic Debbie. You will not regret it, if we could do it all over again we would choose the Clayton in Galway again. Thanks so much for everything you guys do.

I cannot recommend the Clayton Hotel Galway enough. Myself and my husband Keelan got married at the Clayton on the 26th of May and it was out of this world. The food, the service, and the staff were amazing and so friendly, they could not do enough for us all day. It wasn't just on the day, the lead up was a dream. We got married in The Clayton Hotel Galway just over a month ago. We had originally planned our wedding on two previous occasions and when it came to changing the dates due to covid, the transition was seamless. Debbie and the staff at Clayton were extremely professional and answered any questions we had immediately and helped with every little detail needed. I cannot speak highly enough of Debbie she left no stone unturned for us making the day run seamlessly from start to finish. The day ran amazingly smooth and EVERYONE commended the venue as the food and service was 5 stars..(if I could give it 6 stars I would). The Clayton Hotel Galway is the perfect venue for a wedding. We dealt with Karina and Debbie, they were really easy to work with it. Any questions were answered and no requests was a big deal either. I just want to say a huge thank you to Debbie Foott and all the team in the Clayton Hotel Galway. We got married on the 29-10-22 and to say Debbie went above and beyond is an understatement. For a full year leading up to our wedding day, Debbie made herself available to us every time we wanted to call in and ask questions. I had a vision of what I wanted for the theme of the wedding and Debbie took it on herself to set it all up for me, right down to assembling our wedding cake. The only answer to every question we had was yes that's no problem we will do that for you. No stress no worry Debbie just got the job done. Every detail for our day was just perfect. We were taken care of so so well. All of our guests said the meal was amazing. The bar staff and waiting staff were on the ball, running everything like clock work. It is safe to say we made the best decision in choosing the Clayton Hotel as our wedding venue, and a total blessing we had Debbie as our wedding coordinator. From beginning to end Debbie and her team at the Clayton Hotel went above and beyond for us in every aspect of planning our wedding right up to the day of our wedding. Debbie was great for helping us think of all the little details we might have otherwise missed. The food was absolutely exquisite and even two weeks later we are still getting compliments from our guests about the food. They were so accommodating allowing us to mix and match with different items on the menu and even made a wonderful main course dish at our request that wasn't on their menu choice. They really couldn't do enough for us. On arrival to the venue, we were blown away by how amazing the place looked. Everything was just as we had imagined and better. Every member of staff working at our wedding was so professional and accommodating. Each time there was a new shift manager, they went out of their way to find us and introduce themselves to us and let us know that if we needed anything at all we could come directly to them which we thought was just an amazing personal touch. We had the most fantastic day and night and were once again so happy with our day 2 celebrations in the Clayton. The BBQ food was delicious and there was plenty to go around for everyone. We have just had the pleasure of getting married at the Clayton Hotel. We must say we made a wonderful choice in going with this hotel. The staff were fantastic and Debbie the wedding coordinator went above and beyond and made our whole day extremely enjoyable and special, no wish or request was too much to ask or too much trouble and she went the extra mile each time for us. We honestly couldn't have wished for anyone better, she really did make the whole experience stress free. The hotel on our wedding day was set up so beautifully and it truly amazed us how every little detail was taken care of. The service we received from all the staff was second to none.The whole weekend was above and beyond our expectations and that's completely down to Debbie and her brilliant team and we are so grateful.
