We had our wedding at the Station House in March. We had a fabulous day and staff at the Station House went above and beyond to ensure our comfort and enjoyment. Aimee and Sarah were so helpful throughout the entire process, and were very accommodating when covid restrictions resulted in changes to dates and wedding numbers. The hotel, which has recently been refurbished, was beautiful and was a hit with our guests. The grounds are spectacular too. Our reception was held in the library room, which offered a beautiful and cozy ambiance. Andrew the food & beverage manager was amazing, so polite, professional, and helpful! All our guests were complimentary of his friendly service. Overall would highly recommend the Station House for a wedding. Thanks for making our day so memorable!

The Station House Hotel is a wonderful location for a wedding, highlighted by the warmth and professionalism of their staff, who were extremely friendly and helpful, with no request being too much for them. This was emphasised by their wedding coordinator Aimee, who was fantastic to deal with. We had to postpone our wedding from March until September due to Covid and Aimee was always so positive and friendly, no matter the question or issue and always put our minds at ease. It is a beautiful location and one we fell in love with from our first viewing. The recent renovations to the hotel have made it even more charming. The whole process from food tasting to our wedding day was great and very relaxed. Aimee was always on hand to guide us through the whole process, giving advice and ensuring that our wedding day would reflect what we were looking for and would run smoothly. We were extremely lucky with the weather for the weekend as it was lovely and sunny. The wedding itself had a very relaxed atmosphere, thanks to Aimee, Emma and the staff. We had an amazing day, and nothing was too much to ask. The function room, turntable and grounds were decorated beautifully. With the great weather, we were able to spend more time outside chatting with our guests and take advantage of the grounds. The grounds are beautiful, they are nice to explore and are a great setting for wedding photos. The hotel is a lovely, relaxed setting full of charm. If you are looking for a venue for your wedding, we would highly recommend the Station House Hotel.

Could not recommend The Station House Hotel enough to any couples looking to have an intimate setting. We fell in love with the venue the first time we visited. After Covid put a stop to our wedding in Italy we thought we would never get that feeling back again but thanks to Aimee and the team at the station house we had the most magical day, with our nearest and dearest. The Station House Hotel is a fantastic venue for a wedding and I would highly recommend it to any couple. There was nothing I could fault them for. Every aspect of our day was covered and all the extra little details that made the day so special and unforgettable. The setting and grounds are fabulous for photographs. The bridal suite is beyond amazing - a very unique experience. The staff were all brilliant and so friendly and helpful. I have regularly been at a wedding where you feel at the end of your night you have overstayed your welcome. This was not the case the staff at the end of the night were still as friendly as they were at the beginning of the evening. The food was beautiful and we have since gone back to have dinner there on special occasions. The Station House Hotel is a must see for any couple that are looking at venues for their special day. They will not be let down by this quaint special place.

We had our wedding in October 2019. Searching venues was so difficult and I knew what I wanted from the start but nowhere else I had viewed gave me that feeling the Station House did. From the beginning to emailing Sarah (wedding Planner) I knew we wanted to have our special day there. When we arrived for our wedding viewing the hotel was just stunning and the grounds beautiful. Sarah was so amazing, she made us feel like we were the only bride & groom out there. Anything we asked for they met our needs. Nothing was an issue & they went above & beyond for us both. We had many meetings coming up to our wedding day & each time was so pleasant & we were treated so well. Sarah took such an interest in every part of our day not only the venue but, dresses, hair etc. All the staff are so friendly, The food was exceptional (words from our guests too) and the ballroom was finished to the finest detail. I still dream about doing it all over again & the day was just perfect, more then we could have ever imagined & that was down to every member of staff at the Station House Hotel, we would highly recommend the Station House as a wedding venue.

After having to reschedule and eventually cancel our destination dream wedding we immediately fell head over heels in love with The Station House Hotel, Kilmessan. We were sold before even sitting down and chatting with Aimee Mooney, the wedding coordinator. It all got even better from there. In the midst of a pandemic and such tight restrictions we were looked after with such care. Nothing we asked for was too much. Aimee and the team kept in touch during every government announcement. They were there when I needed a cry about numbers and helped me figure out how to keep everyone happy during such challenging times. This was all new for them too, and they handled it amazingly. I didn’t have to do any stressing on the lead up to our special day. The price of the packages they offer is absolutely amazing. We were on a tight budget with losing out from our original wedding booking but it wasn’t tight for The Station House. We were blown away by what was included in the packages, we were so delighted to be able to afford so much. We went for the Summer Express package - it is excellent. We got married on the 18th August 2020 and the day went so smoothly and perfectly. Aimee and Emma Donegan looked after everything, I didn’t need to think about a thing, other than having a fantastic day. The grounds are absolutely stunning. The food was so gorgeous - from breakfast, afternoon tea, nibbles and dinner. The facilities are excellent and you want for nothing. You don’t even need to do any decorating because their decor is simply stunning. Although the venue is an old train station it was fully accessible for both my daughter who has mobility issues and my nana who is 95. The grounds are cosy and intimate with rooms to suit everyone. The hotel’s accommodation is fabulous. It is newly renovated. It is so chic, stylish and vintage all in one. Right up my street! we got married in the turntable, the most enchanted, stunning and unique place. We will be forever grateful x

Having seen our wedding postponed twice, both in March and August, we re-booked the Station House for November. Having originally booked for over 120 guests we worried that our big day would not be as memorable with just 25 guests. How wrong we were! A smaller crowd meant that our venue was changed from the function room to the restaurant. The wedding team in the Station House created a stunning venue for us and our guests. Flowers, scented candles and personalized menu cards were expertly arranged to create a heavenly reception venue. On arrival at the Station House we were met by friendly and attentive staff who served up prosecco, craft beer and delicious canapes. Photographs were taken in the stunning grounds of the hotel. From the beautiful gardens to the historic turntable, there were so many idyllic places for wedding photos to be taken. Our photographer commented that it was an ideal setting. Following our speeches which were held in the bar, we moved into the restaurant for the meal. Every guest commented on the quality of the meal from start to finish. it is impossible to pick out a highlight of the meal - it was so good. More than enough for all guests and extras offered to those with a larger appetite. Staff during the meal were very attentive and were quick to assist with anything requested by guests. Following our meal we retired back to the bar. Although no live music was permitted due to COVID rules, the intimate atmosphere of the bar meant there was no shortage of chats and laughs. Luckily for us, a wedding guest was a trained pianist and he was happy to play some tunes on the hotel's piano which of course lead to an impromptu sing-song. At the end of the night we retired to our honeymoon suite. The Honeymoon Suite simply is a must-see. Luxury, comfort and history all rolled into one. The Station House Hotel went above and beyond to ensure we had a dream day. The wedding team of Aimee and Sarah went above and beyond to ensure we had a dream day.

Dear Sarah and Station House Team I just want to say how wonderful our wedding was there. When tragedy struck my life not long after we booked our wedding I was on the phone to Sarah who was there helping me through it all. Nothing was too much trouble for her she took a lot of pressure off my hands. On the day everything was just perfect, the venue set up, our fabulous ceremony on the grounds, the food, the extra touches were clearly visible and the staff were amazing. The Carriage Suite Ballroom was a perfect addition - we felt like royalty. I would recommend Station House and Sarah as a wedding planner to anyone. The Station House Hotel was the most amazing venue. All our guests adored it, the sun shone and everyone thought it was the best wedding they had ever attended. The food and service was second to none. Aimee our wedding coordinator was the loveliest person and nothing was a problem and both herself and Emma made us feel like absolute VIPs on our wedding day. We had such a rollercoaster leading up to wedding due to Covid-19 and restrictions but the Station House were so positive and we felt so safe. We got married in August 2020 and had an amazing day. The staff were very accommodating friendly and helpful. Food was lovely and the night was great in general. We couldn't have asked for much more considering the restrictions brought about by Covid-19 both us and the venue had to make unfortunate compromises but it all worked out great in the end. Will definitely recommend.

Jade and Emma were very good to me on the days running up to our wedding, Jade was very helpful and and if I had a question about anything she was at the other end of the line and always rang me back. Emma was there on the day of our wedding and she was so good to me and my partner I was very nervous and she reassured me that all would be ok. Emma was so nice and so friendly to all of our family and friends.

Our wedding at the Station House Hotel was absolutely incredible! We found Michelle and Jade, the wedding planners, very easy to deal with in the run up to the wedding. They were always on the other end of the phone or would reply via email promptly. Their attention to detail was second to none. Ciara in accommodation was fantastic about answering questions and changing rooms. On the day itself, Emma was incredible! She made sure everyone was catered for, even people who hadn't submitted their dietary requirements prior. My grandparents are in their late 80's and my husband Nana is in her early 80's, Emma made sure they were especially well looked after. The venue itself is beautiful. We were lucky that the weather was beautiful and we could have our ceremony outside in the wonderful turntable. All of the food was delicious! The Station House focus heavily on good quality local produce and it shows. All of our guests thoroughly enjoyed their day, night and the great breakfast the following morning. My husband and I can't speak highly enough of the Station House Hotel and would highly recommend it to any couple getting married.

Fell in love with the venue straight away, and booked it at the earliest opportunity. Great to be able to have an outdoor wedding in such an unusual and beautiful setting (has to be seen to be believed). Staff were really great and the level of service was outstanding. Found Michelle and Niamh, the two wedding coordinators we dealt with very professional and easy going. Emma, the restaurant manager was in charge of things on the day itself and was really outstanding, in particular making a special effort with elderly guests and their dietary requirements. Food was top notch and again allergies and dietary requirements were very well catered for. Lovely to have such an intimate and private venue for the day. Loved our day and the Station House really lived up to its reputation. A big thank you to all the staff!

Had our wedding at The Station House and from the very first enquiry we just knew this was the place for us. The hotel is stunning and the staff from start to finish were so kind and professional, and always available for a chat. They just couldn’t have been nicer. We would highly recommend The Station House for any occasion especially a wedding. Overall I would give The Station House 5 stars.

We decided in November 2018 to look for a venue with a date in mind of March 2019! We had looked at some other venues but the outdoor ceremony site with all the fairy lights and lanterns really sold it for us. And the intimate homey feel, we would be the only ones there so no strange guests would be wandering around. Michelle was amazing and so accommodating of our scatter-brain planning style. They provided a list of suppliers that we could use or not, after some searching we booking all of the recommended suppliers, they were brilliant. They set out realistic and achievable deadlines for payments so it didn't feel overwhelming. Michelle even gave us the idea for The Fire Guys for our evening entertainment. 6 months later, people are still talking about it. Emma on the day was like a super-ninja, out of sight working her magic so nothing went sideways. The outdoor ceremony was beautiful, food was amazing, definitely worth going back just to eat! It didn't feel stuffy and "the usual". The salmon was divine. I loved the throne chairs especially with my poofy dress. They really thought of all the little things to make our big day unforgettable.

We wanted to try and take some time to thank you and to put into words how much we appreciate everything that was done for us last week. Aimee, you kept in touch with us throughout the build up and answered our many questions with patience and understanding. You reached out to wish us good luck and made all interactions so personal, friendly and full of laughter. You basically made planning a wedding smooth, easy and enjoyable. Sarah and Denise, who listened to my many tears over the phone last week, when we were convinced we would need to cancel, you were full of help and reassurance, and massively helped to reduce our anxiety. To all the staff on the day, who were so personal with us, every time they spoke with us. You laughed with us, and made us feel like absolutely royalty for the day. Nothing was too much trouble. The hotel in general exceeded every expectation we could possibly have had in our minds. We are beyond satisfied with our choice to book our wedding with you, and have been since that first day two years ago, when we drove up the driveway and were greeted by Emmett. We booked immediately and have never looked back. Finally to Emma, we can't begin to express our gratitude to you. Above and beyond doesn't begin to describe all that you did. Staying the night on Friday, to allow me to stay over, just to calm my hysterics, in itself is so mind blowing, but you were always within eye shot throughout the day. We knew you were crazy busy, keeping everything under control. As far as we were concerned the day went without a hitch. On a personal note, in the run up to the wedding I was worried about getting ready to walk up the aisle after my bridesmaids had gone ahead. I was so worried about being alone with my thoughts at that moment, and not having my dad beside me. But you stood in front of me, almost as if you knew, you kept eye contact, and you reassured me that you will stay alongside me, on the other path, while I walked myself. I will never forget that moment, and the support I felt from you. I may have been a teary bag of emotions, but I knew I wasn't alone. Without hesitation, we would recommend the Station House Hotel to anybody that will listen, for any occasion. When all odds seemed against us, you were as determined as we were to see the wedding through. Your work ethic and professionalism knows no bounds. Please let us know, when you might open again as a hotel to the public, we will be first on the list to return and hope to return regularly for a long time to come. We got married in the Station House, Kilmessan on the 4th of September which was our original date. We had a short engagement and organised our wedding within 5 months however regardless of the short time our journey was plain sailing and enjoyable thanks to the general manager Emma and our wedding co ordinator Aimee, no question was silly or task too big for these incredible people! Organising a wedding during a pandemic and also working on the frontline was challenging but as regards our venue we didn’t have to worry about anything. On our wedding day, the sun was out and we got to get married outside with incredible photos around the grounds, everyone felt safe with guidelines adhered to and we were able to enjoy our wedding day despite reduced numbers.
