There aren’t enough words to sum up our experience of celebrating our wedding day at the Castlecourt Hotel, Westport. From the weeks leading up to our special day to the day itself, there was no job that was too big and no task that required too much effort. Vincent, Liz, Rhona and the whole team made the day flow seamlessly. The food was incredible, and the service was unbelievable. We had compliments from our guests, saying everything flowed so well, from the drinks reception, the meal, speeches, and the band to the lovely bacon butties at 2 am. We weren’t sure what to expect from day two as it can be tricky getting the party going again, but it exceeded expectations with a beautiful BBQ and live music in the Castlecourts Late Night Venue. A family-run business that made sure every one of our guests was well looked after - an unforgettable weekend. We could not rate them any higher, and hearing our friends and family talking about it weeks later says it all. Our only regret is we can’t do it all over again.

A huge thank you to the Corcoran family and all your staff especially Vinny for hosting us and planning our day. His experience and knowledge are second to none and he is so easy to deal with. We decided to have our reception at the Castlecourt as they offer exceptional service. We wanted our guests to be well looked after and they were. All the staff are brilliant throughout our experience from the tasting dinner to our two-night wedding stay. Guests commented on the great food, staff, and venue. From the first day we made contact with the wedding team in the Castlecourt hotel they were an absolute dream to deal with. They made organising our big day so easy and so stress-free! Vinny was always only a phone call away for any queries we had. We found him absolutely fantastic to deal with from start to finish, so helpful, even helping us pick our entry songs as we couldn’t decide. We couldn’t recommend them enough for your big day, they treat every couple with so much time and dedication it is absolutely fantastic to see. We got married at short notice due to an illness. Vincent from the get-go was just amazing. He took every bit of stress and worry right off our shoulders. Nothing was too big or too small and he was so understanding. He listened to what we wanted as it was a small intimate wedding and it couldn't have gone any better. The staff on the day were also fantastic and there isn't one thing I would change about the day.

My husband and I are from the States but decided to get married in Westport where all his family are from. You would think planning a wedding abroad would have a lot of difficulties but The Castlecourt Hotel could not have made our experience any easier! I would do it all over again if I could. Great service, great food, and an amazing time!

From the moment we first called Vinnie about booking our wedding to the morning after checking out of The Castlecourt Hotel, nothing was too much. Everything really was just perfect. They were all so helpful with any request from room reservations for guests to menu tasting. On the day itself, there is nothing I can fault. The attenrion to detail was top class. Vinnie even sent me a picture of our crisp wall before we arrived as i was dying to see it all set up. The pre dinner reception was amazing. Everything looked perfect. The meal was above 5*(as it always is) . The honeymoon suite was beautiful with fab personalised gifts. There was a very big event the same weekend as our wedding based at the hotel,and you honestly wouldn't have known. It did not take from our day in any way.

Our wedding day was a dream come true and that was all down to the staff in the Castlecourt Hotel. We had 305 attending our wedding and our food all came out at the same time piping hot. Everyone still talks about the amazing food and service. A special thanks to Vinnie who stuck to his word of having all 305 of us seated at 5.30. The staff in all areas are extremely friendly and always wanted to make sure everyone was happy. The new renovations make it such a fabulous venue to get married. I wouldn’t change a thing about our day and that’s because the Castlecourt Hotel made our day so amazing!

We had our wedding reception in The Castlecourt Hotel on the 27th July 2023. From start to finish, Vinny and all the staff in The Castlecourt Hotel were a pleasure to deal with. Vinny made all the planning feel so easy. He was extremely helpful and contactable whenever we needed him, even on his days off he answered the phone!! He planned our day out from start to finish and if we needed anything, it was never a problem. He is an absolute credit to the Castlecourt Hotel. It was our 5th family wedding here so we knew we wanted Vinny as our wedding coordinator and The Castlecourt as our wedding venue. As the saying goes- "You cannot beat the Castlecourt for a wedding!!" We had our meal tastings in June. The food was delicious, we had so much food to eat. Whatever we wanted to taste, we got the full dish of it, so I would recommend to bring family or friends with you for this as The Castlecourt Hotel are very generous. The venue itself was fabulousy decorated, we had nothing to worry about and didn't need to buy any extras. We had nibbles at reception, which were devoured along with prosecco, bottles of beer and a keg of Guinness, which of course everyone loved. The dinner was amazing from start to finish. We opted for the potted salmon and vol au vants for starters, followed by veg soup and sirloin of beef, turkey and ham, hake and veggie curry for the mains as well as apple pie and toblerone cheesecake for dessert. Would highly recommend the toblerone cheesecake! Yum!! Everyone was offered a second round of mains, which we were delighted with as everyone was well catered for. We also had more finger food around 11pm and bacon butties & chips at 2.30/3a.m., which went down a treat!! I could not recommend Vinny and The Castlecourt Hotel enough! You will not regret having your wedding venue here. We had the most amazing day from start to finish, everything ran so smoothly! Thank you all so much!

We got married at the Castlecourt in August 2023. Vinnie, Rhona, Liz, Joe, Anne and everyone at Castlecourt were exceptional. We felt very welcomed from the first day we came to look around, everyone was attentive, supportive, friendly and nothing was too much- everything was dealt with so professionally and with a smile. Food was fantastic, the options were brilliant, and everyone was very well fed. We had a lot of guests travelling from abroad, many of whom stayed at Castlecourt for three nights. All guests only had great things to say- rooms are lovely, excellent facilities, and all staff wonderful. We had a welcome drinks function the night before, and a barbeque the next day- both of these events were so well prepared and catered for, and great fun was had by all- we have Castlecourt to thank for this. The Castlecourt Hotel and all staff were absolutely superb on our Wedding Day and exceeded all expectations. Everything ran smoothly, together with our guests we had a truly memorable time, we could not recommend them highly enough. Thank you so much Castlecourt!

We got married in the Castlecourt Hotel on the 22nd of September 2023, from the start when we were welcomed by Vincent to when he saw us off on the day after our wedding, we were treated like royalty, every member of staff and management could not do enough for us. Vincent was so helpful and listened to us and very kindly advised us on every aspect of the process and preparation for our big day. He had all of our questions answered before we could ask them. His professionalism and personality relaxed us and gave us the confidence that this gentleman will deliver an amazing day for us, and he did. One gentleman who was setting up the function for another wedding was so helpful when we just went in to have a look at the function room, he told us they could organise a ramp to the top table for us if we wanted. Little things like that from all of the staff ensured we were going to have a great day. The hotel also offered great value for money. The price quoted on our first meeting included everything we wanted and more. There were no hidden extras. Everything was up front and transparent. Our guests loved the day and raved about the hotel. Some could not get over the food and the selection offered by the hotel, it was lovely to hear the morning after the wedding as we knew that all of our guests enjoyed themselves. The service for the dinner was fast and the table at the back of the function room had their meal within two minutes of the top table and there was no shortage of food! Everything we asked for and some things we didn’t even think of were all looked after without any fuss. The memory box Vincent handed us the morning after the wedding was the cherry on top. It was such a lovely surprise. It was so nice and means so much to us. We never felt like we were just another wedding, we felt like we were their only wedding, and they were giving us 110% all of the time. We cannot recommend the Castlecourt Hotel enough for a wedding. 5 stars in every aspect of what they do.

We couldn’t be more grateful to the Castlecourt Hotel and all their staff, especially Anne, Joe, Anna Maria and Vinny for going so above and beyond to make our day so special and memorable. It is a fantastic wedding venue and I’d highly recommend the Castlecourt to any couples looking to get married in the west of Ireland. Our guests are still raving about the food, we had quite a big wedding of over 300 guests and the standard of food and service blew us away. The Castlecourt really have weddings down to a fine art, Vinny was incredibly accommodating and he was an absolute pleasure to deal with from start to finish. No stone was left unturned and it is thanks to them we had the best weekend we could have possibly imagined. We also had our day 2 in the Castlecourt and similarly to the wedding day, the food and service was outstanding.

What an amazing day and all thanks to the staff at The Castlecourt Hotel. The whole run up to the day and the actual day itself was stress free and this was all because of the amazing staff. The food was just out of this world and the whole venue was absolutely amazing and the cocktails went down a big treat. I can’t thank all the staff enough at The Castlecourt for such a magical day, and no matter what I write down it will not give them the justice they deserve. They've shown they can deliver for anyone having there wedding there. I just can’t say enough about this venue and staff. We weren’t a local wedding and everyone travelled far and wide to come and everybody wants to go back again and some have already booked another weekend again with them. When it comes to weddings or any event, often you could dismiss a hotel. But it’s the staff that make The Castlecourt Hotel,from the porters to the managers, everyone is just absolutely lovely. Can’t wait to go back and see them all again.

We cannot thank the team at the Castlecourt enough for helping us to create our dream wedding day! We attended weddings here before, including a family wedding last year, and fell in love with the venue. However, after meeting Vincent, we immediately knew that this was the place we wanted for our own wedding. He was also kind to help and advise us on other aspects of the wedding unrelated to the venue. The team made everything so effortless and we never had to worry or stress about a thing. Joe, Anne and Liz were very welcoming and accommodating on the day. All the staff were amazing, friendly and extremely efficient! We are still receiving messages from our guests about how much they enjoyed the Castlecourt and that they were blown away by the meal and service. We are forever grateful to Joe, Anne, Liz, Vincent and all the staff at the Castlecourt for helping us to create a truly special and memorable wedding. We have nothing but positive things to say about the Castlecourt. From Day one, we knew we were in good hands having our wedding reception with them. As they have been involved in the wedding business so long, they know everything there is to know about throwing a well run, great party! Their packages are extremely generous & competitive. There were no hidden extras. Anything we requested was granted. Communication with Vinny, Liz & Rhona was really easy & always a pleasure. Any queries we had were handled swiftly. They made sure every thing ran like clockwork on the day. Our guests were very impressed with the quality & amount of food. Every person commented on the service from all staff. They all genuinely felt very taken care of. Their attention to detail is impressive. We had a small baby (7 months at the time). She spent most of the reception with the childminder. The staff made sure they knew what table she was at & served her dinner earlier so she could leave when it was time to put the baby to bed. Those little things meant a lot to us & we had not even thought of that. The staff here think of everything. Don’t forget, it’s a hotel in the middle of a busy coastal town with free parking. Everything is on your doorstep. If you’re staying on for Day two, Westport has so many lovely places & things to see & do. It’s really evident why they have such a great reputation. If you choose to have your wedding in The Castlecourt, you will not be disappointed. Thank you ALL so much.

From the moment we met with Castlecourt Wedding Team, we knew we were in good hands. The wedding team were so helpful and would get back to us so quickly. Working with them was an absolute pleasure and we cannot recommend the Castlecourt enough to couples. We cannot speak highly enough of the service we received from Vinnie, Liz, Rhona and all of the staff at The Castlecourt in both the lead up to and on the day of our wedding. Throughout the planning process there was always clear and efficient communication and everyone was always very accommodating to our busy schedules. We had both our ceremony and reception in the hotel. The decor was just as we had wanted. On the day the service for both us and our guests was amazing. We received numerous compliments on both the service and food from our guests which was great for us to hear. No stone went unturned on the day, every little detail was thought of. Any photos we got both in the hotel and on the grounds looked fantastic also. We are so glad we chose The Castlecourt as our venue and will always recommend it to anyone thinking of where to host their wedding or any event.

Well where does one begin....to be honest let's forget the pandemic part and focus how our day was. We can sum it up in a couple of words or well maybe a paragraph or so! MAGIC, it was was magic from the moment the service began to the actual reception. Everything was flawless from the moment we said I do, to the cocktail reception with our New York Cocktails. The venue is beautiful and the staff made sure that our day was wonderful from the beginning to the end, into the wee hours of the morning. The Reception Room looked beautiful and they went above and beyond to make sure all our guests from eleven countries with dietary needs etc. were all looked after. The Castlecourt is the absolute best place to have a wedding. From day 1 of booking the hotel/venue to checking out of the hotel after our wedding weekend, the Castlecourt were incredible. The entire wedding team, Vinny, Liz, and the rest of the team were so helpful in making our planning and wedding day the simplest as possible. They handled so much themselves and made the day a breeze. From planning a wedding abroad, we had many questions, and they made sure we were happy and comfortable and offered many video calls. I cannot speak more highly of the Castlecourt, every aspect of the weekend was just perfect!

We knew for years that we wanted to get married in Mayo but weren't sure where, once we went to the Castlecourt, we knew we could rely on Vinnie to give us a great day. From start to finish, the Castlecourt Hotel were immense to deal with, Vinnie headlining the show! He made us feel like we were the only wedding that mattered and us knowing the Castlecourt as a venue for many years, know that they have done quite a few! Nothing was ever a problem and they accommodated us both wherever they could. With luck being on our side on the 12th of May, the sun shone down on our wonderful drinks reception and we could have been anywhere in the world! The cocktails were flowing made by a friendly waiter and our number one memory will be arriving into the Castlecourt courtyard with all our nearest and dearest beaming! Our meal was absolutely flawless, the staff used great discretion and humour with our guests and we have taken great pride in the compliments we got on our special day. We never had to worry about a thing because we knew from the beginning it was in safe hands. So many guests have told us it was genuinely the best wedding they have ever been too! It does mean a lot to keep things traditional, we loved that Anne and Joe walked around the function room checking on all our guests and ensuring everything ran seamlessly. Myself and my husband had the most magical day at our wedding in The Castlecourt. We were so impressed from start to finish. We dealt with Vinny, the wedding coordinator. He is so professional and highly experienced in the wedding industry. He really put us at ease! He thought of every detail. We had a meal tasting a few months before the wedding. It was such a lovely experience! The staff were so welcoming! For our wedding we’d very little to prep when it came to the hotel. The Castlecourt looked after the table arrangements etc. The day itself was brilliant! Vinny met us as we arrived with champagne! We got some photos taken for the menu and we got to see the function room. It looked amazing. Our guests had a wonderful time. The food was incredible! We were well fed! Everything ran so smoothly time wise. The Castlecourt have it down to a tee! We met Vinny the day that we left and he had a printed album of pictures for us which was such a lovely touch! We couldn’t fault The Castlecourt in any way! It was just perfect!
